You can use Holy Gauntlet, Brutus and Ayako. You get protect with Brutus's base power and also with Ayako's rage power, your enemies set weaken and maybe if you lucky set stun.

For Count Marius I use Triangle Sword, Maverick Gauntlet & Lanasa.
Lanasa's rage is perfect for Automaton Archers.
+ 3 pieces of armor set for Golem so they can't harm you.
(optional) side armor with 2 Weaken Success charms & 2 Acid damage charms

is there a number of event enemies in the portal to look for? like 7 or 9 above undead you go for it or wait to reset?
