I didn’t buy the premium track last time and didn’t spend any dark fragments. I saw those charms and knew I was going to buy the premium pass. Then I saw that cool sword skin in the shop and went “I want that!”. Then I went a little further down and went “crud. I can’t justify spending 2000 dark fragments on a sword skin when that can get me 10 Krita shards.” Got through everything today and bought 10 Krita shards to bump her to 4*. I’m happy with that. 😁

This pains me to say that this event is definitely not f2p friendly. Not even light spender friendly when you think how many gems you need as well as grinding out the event chests will never get you to summon krita. You will need to dig into the gems for that.
Regardless though best of luck for the Krita pulls. You will need it.

Totally agree. Though I did spend over half my gems on 5 chests and got Krita today :). But Im sure thats very rare luck.
Other than that luck, the event itself is a big cash grab. You cant even get dark fragments from the roamers without having one of the event heroes, and you need the fragments (or a lot of luck) to even get the heroes.

@@AngusKart now i will give Midoki respect for respecting a player's spending habit mainly because it is very even on what the 5x chest gives out. If one is willing to whale to at least summon, you are going to need at the most 100 chests. They are not doing that BS where they give you just not enough dark frags, so you need to dip into more to get what you need, but have a lot left over. Granted Dark Frags can be carried over, but it still sucks when having to over pay. I have seen so many mobile companies do that stunt to squeeze more money.
If you want to know how many gems you need to get to that point, it is 7500 gems. i get a feeling that i might be off, but hey call me out if so.

As it pains me, I’ve burnt 20k gems just to bump Krita from 4 to 5 stars. Maybe next opportunity to upgrade Ktita a better time like hero challenge

The damage hammer is useful in easy content like this and other portals but the sword is always better for anything challenging
