Fall Fashion Trends No One Is Talking About | Fall 2023 Fashion Trends
Not all fashion trends are equal and sometimes the smallest trends make the biggest impact and that’s why today I’m focusing on the tiny trends worth knowing about for Fall 2023. I truly believe that some of the smallest fashion trends are worth following because they are the ones that will help to give your outfits that little extra edge and take them from zero to hero in an instant. Anyway, every season there are trends that don't get the same amount of air time as I believe they deserve and today I'm focusing on 10 of those trends and giving them their turn in the spotlight. Leonie, I adore your videos. You never miss. You always make me excited to shop my closet and although I'm not quite ready to embrace fall, I am so looking forward to styling my fall looks! Style cycles seem to be speeding up so much that most of what you mention here - metallics, skinny scarves, fringe - have come around relatively recently and I already have the pieces I love. Always enjoyed the challenge of transitional dressing especially living on the east coast and with fall often arriving early. Thrilled about many of the micro-trends featured. Nothing too outrageous and I already own a couple of the items.

Love the vest trend bought a light pink one this summer I will wear with camels and browns, maybe black in Fall and a beige one. In storage I have a black and white check with red wool,piping, a grey pinstripe and a tweed one so will wear those this winter. No to barrel legs. Re sunglasses I love the look of designer sunglasses but I constantly lose sunglasses so wont be doing designers ever again. I like the ovals...hope I can find some. I have a large silver nice quality shopper from years ago and a lovely gold casual bag ...both I will use this fall. I like the pop in winter of metallics to brighten things up.

Bandeau tops -- I'm moving and I just chucked about six of these in the donation pile. They are a great piece for anyone who doesn't need a bra, but for the frontally endowed among us, not really useful.

I just realised I own a pair of leather ballet flats with holes that look like mesh and they’re a gold-y colour. Bang on trend even though I bought them a few years ago now. I’ve not worn them the last couple of years as I hopped on the white sneaker trend, but it may be time to let them see the light of day! They’ll go beautifully with my classic long trench and black denim maxi skirt.

My favorites are the skinny scarves and the metallic accessories; I love gold ones, and shoes, for evening outfits, they look great with everything. Gold is harder to find than silver this season, but there are still plenty of choices. I would like the mesh flats, but not in black, which I rarely wear. I hardly ever wear the black shoes I have as it is.

Another great video, Leonie. I have some skinny scraves but I just did not do justice in styling them but I will try to do better this Fall season when it get cooler for sure. Not too kin on the netted shoes (only thing I don't have an example of) because it mean that I would still have to make sure my toes are presentable. LOL! Great reminder to be purposeable on including these things to top off a look with an exclamation point. Thanks for sharing and ta ta for now.

Yes i wore skinny scarfs! I should have kept them!!! Im here for it . Yes to the button down.. always.. my go to staple.. if i could find some pointy snakeskin heels I'd do that but nothing else snakeskin unless maybe a skinny belt..

I absolutely love barrel and balloon leg jeans. They go well with any shoe, especially sneakers. My favorite are from GAP and Levi’s.

Mesh flats? Oh h*** no! That one is tomorrow's "What were we thinking?" Skinny scarves? Have no function except fashion (Come on, that is not going to keep you warm, but it will provide choking opportunities!). On the flip side, I will keep my eye out for snakeskin and barrel leg jeans! When you started talking about fringe and mentioned doing a DIY on a men's blazer, the one that Karen wore immediately popped into my mind--and I was right, you were thinking of the same thing! The fact that the fringe is chains is what made it so cool. At the time, I resolved to make a DIY brooch from chains, but I forgot about that project...until now. It'd look so cool on a lapel, right?
I just bought barrel leg jeans and I LOVE THEM. They look more interesting on my 5'2 muscular frame and don't swallow me as much as some wide leg models. Add some ballet flats and a costume vest and I feel like an insta girlie, haha :)

I can get on board almost all of these trends except the barrel leg. 😐
To me these details are classics, I love a small touch of animal print 🐍 snake, or any of the others, just like a touch of metallic… & the skinny scarf 🧣 I have happily worn for years as it functions just like a piece of jewellery… a skinny animal print scarf is superb! So I believe the studded belt will always dress up or toughen up the the look of any pants whether pleated, wool or jeans… same with a midi pencil skirt! However the bandeau is a bit pointless as it really only works for a small bust & as such I don’t really see the point in discarding the straps 😵💫🤷🏻♀️. Love a good singlet… in metallic always 😎 cool! Love a barrel leg for the long legged… Great little compilation as usual Leonie, Bravo 😍🤩🥳

Other than fringe which to me as long as it's used correctly for the outfit has never gone out of style, most of these seem kind of either pretty basic choices or as in the case of mesh shoes just a flat no.

I dont need temptation 😂😂😂i am not buying right now anything, until i get my investment to the goal, so its about a month or more 😂🤪 and then i will be able to reward myself, just using fraction of profits 😜 its hard, but will be so worth it. It will end constant arguments with my hubby, that i am wasteful and i will have my cake and eat it too🤪 so no to snakes, or any exotic animal resembling prints in anything ( clothes, bags, jewelry , accessories, etc..… ) yes to skinny scarves , my neck is not as used to be either😂. No to fringes and no to barrel jeans, its just not my style. Metallics only handbag, i already have gold one chanel Gabrielle backpack, actually had for a few years now, just dont want arguments, so this fall , i will be able to wear 💃 another one is on my wishlist is Fendi sequin baguette. No one’s talking about because people don’t care that much about every little fashion ‘trend’ anymore. It’s all dumb. So is fast fashion. Wear what flatters you and rework what you have. Fashion hoarding for a lifestyle you don’t have? We all got smarter.

🤔hmmmmm I do like your content and I hope when I comment its with a positive response and not a negative that being said your first opening with being 50and over is ageing my eye is twitching 😏I continued for a few moments but had to stop the video and move on to something else but my eye wad still twitching, deep sigh I have reached my 50s but do not let age define what I can or cannot were yes this is your opinion we are free to give opinion but you should realise how it could be received sigh, why add age to a print that can be stunning in how you put your outfit together there can be a number of women who are 50 40 60 who have a piece of garment a shoes boots a dress so on and so forth that may now second guess if they are to old to now where that piece that they love and feel awesome in.
They are just now maybe finding there footing there Grove there ascetic fashion is expression not about age may I suggest that you whach Trinny London as she dose not limit a print to age or colour or style but makes you look at a piece you do have in another way to make it your own.
Fashion is about expression whatever age and to advise that you are 50 and over not to try at the first instance is detour that person or person that is following you not to follow what makes them feel awesome not to follow there natural intuition to follow what feels right. Sigh😑😬😔.
You have a platform that influence and people will take your word as truth to suggest that a person who is 50 plus is old and they are now old 😮my dear sigh my eye is twitching fashion is not about age its about expression and expressing who you are what you are your growth and how you are evolving as you age.

Oh not the snake skin. Real or not, it resembles an animal, killed for a skin. No, I’m not vegan, but I think that snake skin is just disgusting to wear. I don’t like animal print in general.
