New subscriber here lovin the videos mate 🤙
Nice fish bro, new subscriber. Epic session.
G'day Farshad. Just came across your channel. Great stuff mate. Subbed. Moving to Perth in a few months, so looking forward to chasing some fish. Really liked your patience playing that fish. You'd make a good fly fisherman! 😉. Mind you... I'll be chasing those snapper or jewies using similar set up to yours. Cheers 🍻
Yorke Peninsula has good beaches where , when the time, tide and weather are good, fish like that can be caught along with a few surprises at times. Was shown these spots by locals as a teenager when I lived in Minlaton back in the 70s.
Amazing that you’ve had the chance to see fishing in these fantastic regions of Australia with limited fishing pressure

Would love to know those spots. We have a property at Port Victoria and I enjoy land based fishing.
Thanks for answering where the place was. Not like this video lol.
Wow! What a catch! Where abouts in Perth was this? I live in New Zealand! Love your videos!
few days ago, apparently. there was a school of pinkies in the marina at woodman point, everyone who had a proper line out got some.
Good to see you have decent rods! Assassins?
Hey mate, just seen in one of your vids that you have these cool adjustable rod holders on your bull bar. Where did you find them, i like that set up
hi mate, this is an old adjustible t clamp on outrgigger holder that I found many years ago. Hope this helps
Where do you get the rod holders please?
Nice looking location and a ripper fish. Like the rod holders. Did you make them or where can you buy them?
Tnx, they’re outrigger holders they use in boats, fantastic unit, if you can find them, and the cops can’t say anything as you can retract them back when you’re driving.
Love the outriggers setup on the car, would love to see maybe a short vid or something of how you set these up to attach on the front of your car. New subscriber 🤙
What you got for bait?
Which beach was that
How does it taste.? Looks great.
One of the top rating fish in the ocean, the meat is delicate and white and not overpowering
Nice fish m8. I'm keen to ask about the rod holder you have.product name please. Where to purchase. .if you don't mind
They’re outrigger rod holders on boats, I found this in a tackle shop on display from many years ago and purchased it but I’m sure if you look around you will find one that suits you, good luck
Which hook size were you using ?
I use size 5 tarpon mustad hooks
what were you tying the baits on with? cheers mate
This is ghost cotton
Can i please ask where you got those rod holders of yours for your bull bar
they’re outrigger holders they use in boats, fantastic unit, if you can find them, and the cops can’t say anything as you can retract them back when you’re driving.
Dammit I can't seem to find them any where let alone who sells them
That is a secret spot you never tell where about to go?
Hello, I live in Australia in Jooandlup for a short time and I love sea fishing. I've already checked the government website about the rules and licenses for fishing, but I can't identify which license to fish on the beach or on the rock. Can you tell me if a license is necessary in this case? Thank you and congratulations on the beautiful specimen...
Hi mate, you don't need a licence for beach fishing, only for freshwater and net fishing
You North or South fishing? Nice work...👍👊💥💥💥
This is north of river, not that far from Perth
@@farshadslandbasefishing1651 Up past Two rocks? 👍
What size rods and reels do you use for this kind of beach fishing?
I use assassin horizon 15 foot rods and I use shimano Stella 20000 and 30000 with 90 lb braid
@@farshadslandbasefishing1651 Thanks for that. Would a 10-12 foot surf rod with a 10000 reel do the job or do I really need to go bigger?
@@adamimberti6948 no that’s all you need. The most important thing is to find sections of beach close to outshore reefs with not much seaweed after a storm and you should catch one
@@farshadslandbasefishing1651 Great, thanks.
Really enjoy your content, looking forward to seeing more.
Take me with you next time pleeease ;)
Nice video what spot is this
Hi this is not far from perth, an hour or so
seabird
@@ramonamora1058 why do you think that
@@raknar4303 heaps of snapper there mate
Hi mate can u show me your rig for snapper fishing. Thx
Best thing there is, you don't get the morning sun in your eyes.
Mulloway plzzz😊
Would love to go for a fishing session with you mate. Me and my brother. have 2 predator rods and overheads and a cuta copter drone. What is the best way to contact you mate. I will buy all the bait (fresh) and Burley mate and you can make content on drone fishing for your channel. (I'm sure the video would pop). A replie would greatly be appreciated.
Hi mate, tnx for the kind words. I have done a fair bit of drone fishing and know spots that hold them regularly but I find that unfortunately this type of fishing is really destroying the numbers of snappers out there on our coastline so that’s why I haven’t made any videos on it. I feel like most people are responsible with their fishing but unfortunately others are really taking a lot of fish and the future is not every good. You can message me directly on Facebook “farshad” or if you’re part of “farshad and Danny’s landbase fishing”, tnx again for your support
@@farshadslandbasefishing1651 cheers mate. Will do and I hope it doesn't ruin the coastline as its beautiful for fishing and I'm yet to land a big snapper. I'll send you a message when I get the chance. Keep up the great content mate.
how long is your rod?
15 foot
Was this north of perth?
Yes
