I think Truce and 411 was the closest thing that we had to the American sound of RNB artists but we had plenty of RNB producers such as Ignorants , linslee , blacksmith , full crew. I love how Rebecca Garton spoke well of Mahalia and Tiana Major9 being nominated for Grammys, and saw them as motivation instead of comp or opps, half these drilly kids came on zeze Millz show and didn't big up or push the industry with other drilly trap kids I think only one did about rnb drill everyone else is out for themselves. Great Interview and good conversation. I didn't know Rebecca before but I'll have a look of her music even more now
Really enjoyed this interview Ive been talking about this topic for years! UK RnB artists deserve better including the genre as a whole! RnB will forever be my favourite genre

Ep stands for extended play which basically is longer than a single but a short album as opposed to lp which stands for long play which is self explanatory
Honestly speaking RnB isn't even in the mainstream as it should be. So it's not that people are looking at the US but in the UK even from the 90s till now there are great RnB artists. By coming on shows like The Zeze Millz Show. This will help push the scene back in the mainstream...definitely facts or 100% facts?
The difference between an EP and album is an EP is an Extended Play of songs usually compiled with 10 or less tracks. An album usually as 10 plus songs which usually is personal type of content. That could also feature other artists and samples...true or what are your thoughts?
Yo! I’ll be glad when the melanin rich people create our own social media platform. I really feel like we should form a class action suit against THIS platform because... I have my notifications on and have not been notified about this channels videos for months!!!
"People Look At The US for RnB Instead Of The UK" well naaah den lol RnB was made in America why tf would they have to look over here in the first place?
R&B is dead everywhere... R&B and hiphop used to mix now you barely have that blend. With the rise of drill there's really no room to callob or be heard because the vibe is violent primarily and love is almost not "cool" for some strange reason.
Afro Swing was our alternative to any forms of R&B, but we always fall and end up doing American music again. British R&B will never be great like it was during the 90's and early 2000's.
Its a shame radio dictates the prominent genres within our society as there are some quality rnb artists out there. However with that being said there are a lot of great singers but not enough quality songs.
This is so problematic, cause then you’re just living for fans rather than living a life as a normal human being who may dream of getting married eventually in the future.

Agree. We need to find our sound and stick to it. Just like African music ain’t for Americans
