4 pieces of meat makes 10 jerky, which can be further made into 15 rations. 4 pieces of meat directly gets you 6 rations. It's a lot of difference especially when you're doing the third part of holy mission questline for example that makes you travel from monsoon to levant then back on foot, and salt is easily obtainable.
This was very helpful. Trying to start this game collecting and selling stuff that couldve been more useful is very annoying to find out later on. I wish the recipes were free and unlocked through tutorial quests bc the wiki can just tell you anyway. Its realistic and interesting to roleplay this way but theres so many recipes and not enough money. You need to do research like this to have a good game
Because it quite an old game that does not cater to many people with how unforgiving it is, and most people who pick it up, don't keep playing for long. Most who do play for a long time(hundreds or thousands of hours in) and enjoy the game like myself already know the basics and are playing around with various builds and/or play modded outward. Still, it's a pretty good basic money making video for newbies.
Love the fact that you include some basic alchemy stuff that most people overlook because of the initially steep price for an alchemy kit. While I don't use most of these myself since I try to get out of Chersonese as quickly as possible(Chersonese loot pool is just so outclassed by its neighbors), I can see how those who want to stay in can benefit from this. Good job!
Amazing video! I'm coming back to outward after years to play with a friend and I was struggling to farm silver in the initial area, personally I don't like to rush to other maps since i rather play the dungeon normally in the future. Ty for the video ❤
I believe it used to be pretty profitable in the standard edition, but it was nerfed for the definitive edition. I do not know off the top of my head how much you can earn in definitive edition. That 10 silver per day may be a great option, but I think it takes a lot of patience.

Personally I value my time too much and the devs don’t - they nerfed the in game economy with a patch so forced everyone to waste time. Hard pass. There’s much easier ways to get to millions in a few minutes, or you know: take hours and hours to farm “the right way” (according to devs who don’t respect your time).

Yes, you’re right! But when you make some food into dishes you get multiple of those dishes, which can be used to make more travel rations

Just go to the prision and start mining. You can get 10 silver per day and stay there for how long you want.
