This is the first time that I have heard of this song, maybe because I was not born yet when the radios played this on the airwaves. Among all of Frank Sinatra's songs, this is now my favorite. If You Are But A Dream If you are but a dream I hope I never waken It's more than I could bear To find that I'm forsaken If you're a fantasy Then I'm content to be In love with lovely you And pray my dream comes true I long to kiss you but I would not dare I'm so afraid that you may vanish in the air So darling if our romance should break up I hope I never wake up If you are but a dream.
Agreed. My use in this context is very low key with its use of simple algorithms that have been trained to remap every shade of gray into color and to sharpen previously fuzzy images (NASA has been doing that for decades). That being said, I have been intrigued by the use of AI by Hollywood animators or those having the computer create abstract fantasy or deep fake stuff. I see all of that as a novelty though and much of it seems a bit repetitive.
@@loublackvideo It is fun to watch AI generated cover songs and deepfakes, but I don't think it's morally right to do so. It'll be interesting to see how the big music corporations are going to tackle copyrighted material generated by AI.

Sorry, I’m pretty sure this is the only one I have. I stumbled across this one by accident, and was so impressed by young Frank Sinatra’s voice that I had to share it (after I restored it). Most of us grew up listening to the older mature Vegas era Sinatra, and had no idea that there was this earlier era to his voice

I’m a great admirer of early Sinatra and his voice in the decade of the 40s, he was still married to Nancy and raising his children but he abandoned her for a tramp and his voice lost its original crisp quality in the 50s and I can’t endorse his chosen lifestyle but I will always cherish his recordings of the late 30s and 40s!

What a beautiful movie clip and song.......and voice!! Thanks for posting. More please😊
Thanks. I wish I could find more from that era. He had a great voice in his youth, very different from the later Sinatra music that I grew up on.
1940s Sinatra had the best voice ever. Smooth like milk chocolate
The young twenty something Sinatra was really quite special. It is a shame more people don’t know about his early years
He was not call "The Voice" for nothing..
@@loublackvideoI’ve only discovered the 40s stuff now due to Apple Music having good remasters on there
Play the early Sinatra/Harry James record, “All or Nothing at All” - a classic - considered one of the best of all his recordings!

Very underrated as an actor
I liked his acting in the late 50’s and 60’s.
My favorite Frank number.
Such a smooth voice in his youth. Most of us had never heard his earlier recordings
Wonderful
He had such a great voice when he was in his 20's. Very different from his more mature 1950's/1960's voice.
Over the years, Sinatras' voice became more rugged and defined. It's interesting to see his evolution.

Yes! Thanks! Good that I lived, he lived when his voice could be recorded with quality for the pleasure of all of us!
Oldies rule forever,
This is amazing! Thank you for uploading this!
Glad you enjoyed it! I was actually surprised by how well it turned out, particularly the audio remastering. Young Frank had an amazing voice.
What a lovely piece of history, thank you so much for sharing this lovely number done by Sinatra at his early best.

This is my favourite version of this song, better than the columbia release.
Nice. All I did was let the software try to improve the audio dynamics, and it did end up sounding better than the original movie audio.

Do you have more videos like this of 1940’s Frank Sinatra? His voice was always amazing but it was just so sentimental here if that makes sense.

Thank you Nolla. Folks need to rediscover his earlier work, I understand now why he was a teenager heartthrob, the Harry Styles of his era
I’ve been listening to a ton of his early music but there aren’t many performances from that era that you watch.
He was in a couple of movies in the 40s, Live Lively and Anchor Aweigh for instance.
