I played this game religiously when I was 5-6 years old. I just remembered it existed and it took me forever to even find out what it was called. I dont think I never found out about pvp/pve. Just had fun watching the little guys so wherever I clicked. Can't wait to start playing again

@@ringofasho7721 We did a tower rush. The dark age is pretty easy. In feudal age we actually divided controlling the army and shared eco. So each of use were attacking 2 players. The AI is bad at handling a tower rush.

lol, I'm 800 ELO, but back in the early 2000's I 1v3ed my friends and destroyed them. My brother was super pissed because we spawned next to each other and he was the first person I destroyed. I was all about the mangudai rush, kill all villagers, retreat, then come back and destroy the base. After that they banned AoE II at LAN parties.
Can I just say holy moly right now? I played age 2 as a kid, and only just discovered the tournaments on TH-cam.,I've watched a few and it they were all with a commentator viewing as a spectator.,this is the first time I've seen a video from a pro's perspective and I'm flat out keeping up...don't know how they do it, but I'm very impressed 😂

I'd like to see an analysis of games like this to determine how many clicks and troop movements are made that are entirely unnecessary. Like clicking 20 times on the town center to build a villager when they don't have enough food. Seems like they're making it a lot more chaotic than it needs to be.

Not even Hera can do it against 4 extreme AI. Humans and specially this type of elos, don't reach the level of intense destruction, build capacity and resistance AI has.
I love how the archer micro is exactly like playing an ad carry in league of legends down to accidentally cancelling attacks. That macro was nuts though
One thing i love about this kind of games is to witness and enjoy the battles. But being a pro looks more like clicking all over the map i could barely see anything even though i know it will work...
Reminds me of when I once ended up on the bots' side by accident in a custom game in LoL vs a bunch of newbies, picked old Eve and went 43/2/9 or such. Twas intense.

These are great and I hope you do them more, maybe with twitch-subs so you can aim at Sum ~3k elo (either 1vs3 or 1vs4), would be really fun to see what you limit 'Sum Elo' is (and also what is harder, 3 players at 1k or 4 players at 750, how about 2 players at ~1500?) Cheers

thats incredible i play since the start of de 1v2 and 1v3 against 3 friends (rated 1.3-4 ish) winning the 1v2s like 20% of times (earlier i won more often) the 1on3 i only won 2 times yet (we play nomad meantime) 1v4 i would have any chance so i pull my hat hera good job

Maybe a dumb question… but what would have happened if at the very beginning they sent all 4 of their scouts against him? Would that just be an insta scrush that he wouldn’t have been able to deal with? Was there a treaty in place?
I mean seriously. All you need to do is have some kind of feudal aggression and in a 4v1 it doesn't matter how good the player is you just simply can't deal with it.
You know which is the worst part, he has done that before because there is no achievement for beating 3 non IA opponents, you are a beast Hera, good content as always, cheers amigo!
On any island or fortress map, byzantine empire.. I used to do 1v7 Expert. No gamer but I did play this from it's creation to about 2007 when I stopped playing video games but this was the best.

A buddy and I beat 4 extreme AI on Arabia. We were controlling the same team. We called it a 1.5 v 4 victory.
You could also call it half a hera vs 4 😂

This is the best thing I have ever seen. This is better than Regicide Rumble, exploding villagers, or anything. We need more of these challanges.

It's to keep your APM up so you don't lose focus.
It helps to keep the mind stimulated and keep you in the zone
APM is important for MOBA players as well as RTS players. Watching LS or pros play League is like watching them have a seizure xD
Yeah it's just all about keeping a fast pace going. It become muscle memory at a point

2 1500s completely impossible.
one 700 elo can defeat two 400 elo players easy. Belive me guys, the youtube concept of a begginer in aoe 2 is not right at all.....

if they could micro the scouts well and he screws up his eco would get destroyed. but with their skill level, the scouts would probably just die
a better strat would be tc dropping him with 4 players
Scouts are very weak in the dark age. A loomed villager can kill a dark age scout

best strategy: 1 go for dark age aggression, 1 go for scouts, 1 go for archers, 1 go for FC Knights. No way Hera could win.
just guard his resources and you win by attrition. Red was wiped out without any of the other players trying to apply pressure.
