Robert is correct. This is the most professional and in-depth MPC Tutorial on the Internet, going through the concepts and workflow FIRST before going into the Technical Details.
Mannnnnn. More of these please! This is better than just a functional tutorial. This is more like tips, tricks, and time savers. Please keep diving into this. Most MPC users know the basics already. But these videos of yours definitely help with improving workflow. Keep it up and that you.
Will do. Eventually will be making these full time but until then I’ll keep pushing them out as time permits. Thanks for supporting. Making a mixing masterclass now
You are game changer for the up and coming, those trying to reacquaint themselves with the MPC and users who are just trying to get in to a better workflow....THNAK YOU!! You've got a subscriber in me!!
Happy they are helping! What do you think a weekend intensive course/ bootcamp idea thats paired with some one on one sessions? starting to develop the concept.
@@CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE Sounds interesting. I am sure there are people interested in such a course. However I am more somebody who likes to dig around for small pieces of info instead of one on one tutorship.
Very good work . Thank you for this share. But You know ? Nobody, really nobodu talk about : when we change a track, the plug in or intruments stay. If i have a Mellotron on Plug in, in track 3, when i change the track on 4, i would like another instrument on the same plug in, but it's not possible. I must to change : Drum programm or Key group. Isn't this ?
Great videos, these are so damn helpful. I had a question if I may, how do you do tempo changes within a sequence? Can this be done? I thought tempo bpm automation, but was unsuccessful. Thanks 🙏🏻
How did you divide the different drums/percussion into specific pads in the pad mute section? I simply have all my drums together in a “drum” track so I can’t individually delete diff types of drums
One feature that would be really nice is if you could convert pad mute automations into sequencer edits. I guess I mean a "delete muted notes and clear mute automation" feature.
Hi sir am one of ur subscribers ur videos are so interesting and. More information tq for that .... I have a doubt about meter like 4/4.. 2/4.. 3/4..5///8 ... like that ...how to change meter in mpc live because I have mpc live during session I mean can we apply without Chang new session during present session
Awesome. Just started developing a weekend intensive/ bootcamp idea that comes with some one on one sessions to help MPC users get up and going as fast as possible. Stay tuned.
is it possible to switch places between different sequences? for example, say I had a sequence named "intro" on the 12th sequence slot, but I wanted to put it in the 1st sequence slot. possible?
Ill test, but I think the best work around would be, copy the one you want to move to a random slot, Say, seq 1 to any open seq. Then delete Seq 1, and copy the 12th into that 1st slot. That way you don't loose Seq 1 and can move 12. You can also use the banks to have a different page of 16 sequences, there are 128 sequence slots in the MPC. So, a lot of times ill use the first page (A) just to create ideas, Then ill copy and paste them into a specific order on page (B). ill do a video on this.
As far as I am aware, you can not mute midi notes in a sequence, you have to delete what you do not want to hear. Please let me know if you find another way around this.
Honestly I don’t think there’s a right way or a wrong way. Sometimes what I’ll do is take the drum track and explode it so all the sounds are on the individual tracks and meet those tracks, but when I want to keep all the drums just on one track, that’s where I’ll go in and start using the erase function to delete specific notes while sequencing. At the end of the day as long as we’re making music we like, and I’m proud of, that’s a win.
What firmware are you on? Are you on the latest (2.10.1)? When you flashed your firmware, did you reset Preferences afterwards? Have you added an SSD? You’re not using your Factory Storage to store samples, Projects, or Expansions on - are you? When switching from standalone to Computer Mode (and back), are you software ejecting your attached storage first?

@@CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE wait was there more because I don’t see any more past five?
This is exactly what i was looking for, nobody else goes into that much detail, thanks bro
Glad I could help!! working on a weekend intensive/ bootcamp concept to supercharge learning on the MPC.
The "copy events" feature will definitely come in handy for me.
Happy it helped!
"If you build it, they will come". Keep em coming- I'm here for them!
Thanks for supporting and happy they are helping.. Stay tuned cause there is a massive announcement in the next few months...

Bro that's legit the best video series abt starting on the mpc i've found and believe me I looked, thanks
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching.
Absolutely fantastic series. Just what I needed after having purschased a Live 2 last week. Thanks!!

Thanks, will do!
Your a master at teaching! Thanks for taking the time to put these videos together! Big ups!
My pleasure. More classes in the works!!
I definitely will stay tuned for the next parts. 👍🏻
Thanks for your efforts! Best tutorial for MPC beginners.

@@CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE thanks mate. Keep it going. Greetings from Germany.
Appreciate your videos bro!
I appreciate that! Weekend intensive/ bootcamp program in the works to help producers master their MPC.
Thanks for this video gonna practise later. Waiting for Step sequencer tutorial
More to come!
I hear you fixed the mike fx chain. Your voice sounded a bit over colored in the previous ones. Besides that, great tutorial so far.
Excellent video thanks .
What’s your opinion on multiple sequences vs one sequence to build a song, is one way better than the other?
I use multi sequences to make sections of the song and then song mode to convert all into the “song” sequence of the full idea
Still yet more further thanks.
Is this series dead? Come back we need you!
It will be back soon, just finishing up some life events and will start dropping more videos soon. What areas would you like to see videos in??
Great masterclass !!!
Happy it helped and thanks for watching.
How did you divide the different drums/percussion into specific pads in the pad mute section? I simply have all my drums together in a “drum” track so I can’t individually delete diff types of drums
Go into the track edit, pencil icon, and “explode” track.
Great videos! By far one of the best tutorials. I binge-watched the masterclasses, but what happened to the rest? Did you stop the series?
Will have more soon, didn’t have time to do more but planning more
Brother keep doing what you do and i thought i new something lol.
You are great teacher thanks a lot ,supa tuto ,keep going this videos.

Agreed!! also, if you could just select a few notes and mute those, instead of delete or all or nothing mute.
Great stuff mate, just essence no bs, helped a lot, cheers.
Glad it helped
Nice explanation thanks 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍
Thanks for these videos they’re great 👍
These videos have helped a lot, well done 👏
Thanks! Many more to come
Nice series! btw, is there a way to export all sequences and programs (from a project) seperately at once instead of doing it one by one?
Yes, I have a video plan to show exporting from the standalone
Always good stuff... keep em coming
Thanks for supporting!! new stuff coming soon.
Great tutorial. Thank you!
Thanks for watching. Please subscribe so we can grow the channel.
These are way better than Akai's "Master classes"

I will double check but I believe each sequence can have its own time signature, so you can switch it with the sequencing
Thanks man appreciate your input and knowledge of this machine ❤
My pleasure
In the erase menu, it seems that the note selection and except note does the same thing.
This is the to ‘go to’ mpc training

Great video 👍
Sorry for the delay, did you get it worked out?
I just noticed that in the menu, the "Half Length" button actually has a +2 logo on it instead of a -2...Hmm?
Right... still trying to figure out the reasoning behind that.
@@CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE it is a divide symbol. Dot over a dot, not a plus sign.
Is there no follow-up video "mpc masterclass ep6" (you said it was about the Main Menu)?
working on it, life caught up with me and trying to get back to videos now.
Thank you
Welcome! Thanks for watching
thanks man !
Does this still work with MPC 3.0? I'm really not happy with the new arranger, as it seems to delete/muts events for all sequences!
how do i simply use edit end on the grid view so that what starts at the end, doesnt go all the way to start?
Can you expand on this, not sure the question
@@CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE a clip that's trailing off, and I want the thing to end at 5.3 beats so I don't hear it in the begining
Wait. I’m confused with this. Because the mute state doesn’t change, prior to, choosing a different sequence. Is this an update maybe?
is it possible to switch places between different sequences? for example, say I had a sequence named "intro" on the 12th sequence slot, but I wanted to put it in the 1st sequence slot. possible?

Hello, say i wanna apply filter for a particular sequence . How will i do that?
You would have to automate the on/off of the filter
I’m confuse on the part where you deleting the note on sequence I mean can one just mute it only ?
As far as I am aware, you can not mute midi notes in a sequence, you have to delete what you do not want to hear. Please let me know if you find another way around this.
@@CREATEEDUCATEINSPIRE I just leave it muted on track mute and build the song that way I don’t delete unless the way you doing it is the right way

A quick question ..why is my mpc crashing alot
Try purging any unused samples to free up any unnecessarily used memory.

I don't save anything in my internal I use my Flash for everything..and no I didn't I didn't rest my Preference I just used the stand alone mode
