Also if I remember correctly, the part was SKETCHY as heck. It's important to know your worth, be patient, do the work, and choose the projects you actually want to do. "I need a part really bad" or "I want to act in something this summer" are not professional reasons to accept an acting job.
Discuss issues in private, don't humiliate someone just because you want to.
It was absolutely amazing that she actually chose him to be a life partner I guess opposites really do attract. 😅
Ok. Maybe not in front of everyone, but Penny was wrong for this. Leonard isn't her father yet pays for HER whole life so that she can live her dream. A role finally comes, she just turns it down flatly. He probably just felt a little sucker-punched.
It's HER life. If Leonard had a problem he could have communicated it like an adult. Instead he chose to humiliate and belittle her in front of their friends. Penny wasn't wrong, she made a career choice that would impact her for the rest of her life. Because she turned down that role, she made even more money than him. Leonard isn't right just because he's a man. Penny also always worked and did her best to pay for herself. There was a big period when they weren't even together. You sound misogynistic
@@violetrose674 you sound like you're a misandrist.
He's paying the cost to be the boss? He just wants the sex. Guess he blew that
@@violetrose674 she got a lot of money from leanord when they were/weren’t dating so ur comments about being misogynistic r off base
@@violetrose674 WTF when did he/she said that Leonard was right because he is a man? You’ve got a big inferiority complex. Everything is fine, it’s just a show
This scene made Leonard out to look like the bad guy when in reality he is not only right but 1000% has the right to call her out after years of her leaching off him and Sheldon. His only fault was talking about it in front of others, but with that group they always told each other everything anyway so
Leonerd was right, she made horrible life choices at every turn, all while exploiting her looks in leeching from the nerds.
All through the show, she left or pulled a tantrum whenever that truth was discussed.
Lenard has a point. It's like most lawyers want a seat at the Supreme Court, but it's a small chance of becoming one
Wow I haven’t seen this entire show but this literally the only time I’ve ever seen Howard’s wife stand up for him. They treat him like complete trash. Even she does sometimes.
If you only knew how Howard acted.
Well, Howard was a complete creep until Bernadette came along and made him a bareable character. And even then he's still mean to Raj to the point where Raj has to break up their friendship to show how toxic it was. So I don't really mind when Sheldon is rude to Howard.
Bernadette stands up for him all the time. She keyed Amy's car over him.
There are several occasions where she stands up for him.
Bernadette is the real deal. Sweet and pleasing as long as possible but fearless and ready to maul anybody who goes against her loved ones. Or Howard himself, when he is a moron again.
I mean for a long time he was trash, so probably hard for them to get out of the habit once he became a better person.
Leonard was right tho
No he wasn't. Because she turned that job down she ended up making more money than him. He's not automatically right because he's a man
@@violetrose674 nothing to do with him being a man tho.
@@violetrose674 But like, from penny’s perspective in this moment, it would have been the right choice to take the acting job. Penny had 0 experience or education in sales. She literally just got it through luck, and connections. She proved to be an awesome saleswoman later, but that doesn’t negate the fact that in this moment, she essentially turned down a chance to pursue her dream, in exchange for unemployment.
@Elias Hornwall but people also shouldn't just take the first opportunity at something. I'd imagine there's a reason she turned it down
@@violetrose674 Op was having a normal conversation and you just had to go and say the last part, Lol (And people wonder why we don't like 3rd wave ideology). As for getting a better job afterwards. There is diffrence between having a planned dicision and having a lucky guess. (She didn't even know about the sales job when she refused this offer.)
Penny is the living embodiment of "pretty privilege" and the show tries to make Leonard the bad guy about it
@d a r l i n g J o he pays for her food Wi-Fi and basically her life and she turns down a job because she thinks that she can just live of him being nice
@d a r l i n g J o she turned down a job that could’ve lead to something else bigger
@d a r l i n g J o she wasn’t even trying to do anything else tho
She literally did nothing then got given an opportunity and still did nothing
That’s lazy
@@darlingjo7492 naw you helped me a bunch.
Yay autism, because I was completely oblivious as to why what Leonard said was bad and why Penny ot upset at him for him, to me it felt sincere and normal to be confused about.
Now I know! Thank you!
Do describe how being a headless bikini body for a horror film is "pretty privilege"or how Leonard discussing private personal matters amongst their friends makes him a "good" guy.
Kaley Cuoco's IS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL
Penny is toxic and when someone treats her the same way, she can't handle it...
I wouldn't say what he did was toxic, voicing his opinion whilst still saying he'd support her and not say too much isn't even near toxic
@@sojufighter8451 how he said it is VERY much toxic.
Their all toxic lol
They are toxic for eachother, but Penny fully support Leonard in his job even though she doesn't understand it. She's willing to help him get promotion and support all of his career choices. She never got in the middle of it or try to stop him even though it bothers her or she doesn't like it. Leonard on the other hand doesn't support her career and her dream at all. He always tells her to give up acting, she has no chances to make it in the industry and that she's making a huge mistakes. He's never gentle about it too, he always says it like a dick. He push her into a career she hates, but she stick with it because she knows it's the right thing to do. He never handles these situations well at all. The only support he gives was when she needed a car to drive to auditions because hers broke down. She never asked for it mind you. He bought it for her because he felt bad because she was mad at him for not supporting her like Sheldon was.
LÉONARD IS TOXIC ! 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
"Nobody says Help, Hawkeye"
Well that aged like milk
Leonard é um cara realista e responsável. Penny é mimada e sempre quer tudo nas mãos, e todos aos seus pés. Penny é mulher pra uma noite só, e o Leonard não entendeu isso.
Hey! Hawkeye is my fav avenger. Admittedly it could probably have something (everything) to do with Jeremy Renner playing the part in the movies. 😊
Only amy assumed that the storm is coming soon 😂
“Given the state of your career, can you afford to be picky?”
That’s passive aggressive had he worded it better he could’ve made his point and received understanding
You know he's been wanting to say that for years now
Leonard: Like mother, like son.
Very few times that we see Lenard responds hard.
If someone can make you feel "terrible" about your life choices, could it possibly be because you are making questionable and terrible life choices?
Or maybe you have different points of views on what's correct for your life. And it's only terrible by their standards. Acting is a creative venture and you have to be picky to some degree about the jobs you'll take because it's easy to get pigeoned holed as one thing.
@@crystalross7943 penny is literally a failed actress, leonard is right here

Leonard is usually a simp, so good for him to say the truth.
If he just didnt add on the first part it would have been perfectly reasonable. The sit at home and do nothing part was wild
And no one ever looks at the fact that hawkeye is deaf in one ear
Leonard’s right. How he said it: debatable.
That was REALLY EPIC!!
Amy saying "I think we're gonna go" twice is hilarious
damn he did hawkeye dirty
Leonard did have a point
I haven’t seen the whole episode, but it sounds like Leonard is right. Being in the entertainment industry, you can’t be too picky until you become a high ranking actor, model, or musician.
This is the moment, Hawkeye turned Ronin.
i don't rlly see why penny is mad the second comment was a valid statement i thought 😭
My guy had a point 😅
How? She said that she could work at cheesecake factory because that movie was sexualizing and demeaning. She has a right to say no to that. Why would you want your partner not work in a movie where she's too sexualized and uncomfortable
He was right, however it shouldn't be a group discussion but a private one.
it's amazing how short these clips are
Amy the voice of reason but nobody listens to the voice of reason
She's used to free food & wifi.
No Hawkeye harmed in this clip :))
Leonard's getting No Pussycat tonight 😆😂😵💫
The only thing Leonard did wrong here is saying that in front of everyone. He should've discussed this with her in private, but everything he said is true. How are you gonna keep saying that you'll be a famous actress if you turn down paid parts?
On point👌
Did you know what the part was?????
How pretty Penny is ! ❤❤❤
He was right, it wasn’t a fight. It was a slight beating for her. 😂
"I think we're gonna go" She said like 3 times or so?? 😂😂
Embora o Leonard tenha um bom ponto, não é o tipo de coisa que se fala na frente dos outros.
Ainda mais desse jeito...
Hollywood is the glamorous way to attract younger ppl to their own wake.
A lot of angry single boys on here😂😂😂😂
Leonard is 100% right, but not in front of everyone. Always stand up for what you believe in. Always
Nobody likes to bring up that Leonard was right for more often than Penny.
Hawkeye: In the middle Why I am fucked 😂😂
Leonard: Why are you all mad at me, you know I’m right!”
It only comes off as fighting words bc shes knows theres truth to what he said. She knows she could make better choices. If the truth didnt hurt then everyone would tell it. Yet we all get hurt when someone slaps us with it. You should be thankful someone is there to give you the hard reality of choice outcomes. Too many have the pleasure of having "yes" friends that are only loyal to a point.
Y'all this ain't misogyny. He supported her both emotionally and financially for a long time. People saying that's bec he expects a relationship in return; that's called being a good boyfriend! Why would he interfere in someone else's career or else?? Misogyny would be him asking not to seek that career at all. She was getting lazy/ discouraged ( due to repeated failure) and he was getting sick of sugar coating things for her.
Leonard is a human character y'all. Give him a break!
"Now it's a fight"!
Hilarious! Bwahaha 😂👏🏼
I'm siding with Lenard on this one. 😂
They explain why Sheldon doesn't like engineers in Young Sheldon
Love how Sheldon cracks jokes with such a straight face.
The fact that Young Sheldon grew up eating at a dinner table it's just strange that he would be fine eating like this
Why not what?
I agree with Leonard. They’re in a relationship and Penny made a decision that affects the both of them. He has a right to at least give his opinion.
How? She said that she could work at cheesecake factory because that movie was sexualizing and demeaning. She has a right to say no to that. Why would you want your partner work in a movie where she's too sexualized and uncomfortable
@@arya3193 I never said that. I said he should be allowed to give his opinion, no matter what it is.
@@amysmileyreid95 but his opinion was wrong. Also in real life, women are affected way more if they do risqué scenes especially if they're not a famous actress. There was recently a reddit post by a woman's boyfriend in which he said that she was in some scenes in little finger's brothel in game of thrones season 1 and his friend recognized her and his entire friend group started shaming her and mocking him.
In a perfect world where men behaved like humans instead of as$holes, then yeah she should've done it without second thought but until then it's totally up to her to decline such roles

I mean Leonard has a point even if he’s being like his mom about it
Hes got a point
Leonard was absolutely right. Penny gets an acting job and says no.
If you watched the episode, Penny later realized she made a mistake and tried to get the part but was taken. She is only human and made a mistake, hence why there is even a show.
Leonard was right but he messed it up at the end when he went running after Penny.
They always thought they were better than anyone else
"i think we're gonna go" Amy's the cutest
Because Leonard is the only one who saw more potential than she saw of her self, and he cares of her more than her previous "roommate" Leonard is her true man and love.
I mean, Leonard was OBVIOUSLY right in this… 🤷♀️
Yeh but she’d rather let Sheldon and Leonard cater to her needs like she did from the start of the show. Also it’s fine for her to use her body to get other guys to pay for drinks etc and can joke about this even when in a relationship with Leonard but the second he is liking Alex hitting on him, he’s the worst in Pennys view. Double standards were overboard in this show
@@zachsingh1sure in this misogynistic show of course. There are multiple videos on tube about how

While his point was accurate, he's in the wrong. First, he stated his opinion in a very passive-aggressive way, and yes, being passive-aggressive should ALWAYS get called out. Then there's doing it in front of their ENTIRE friend group, rather than having a private discussion about it. It isn't approached from a positive direction.
