But remember all the canon episodes and Akatsuki no Yona/Yona of the Dawn. That was GREATLY directed! Btw Toei Animation also put 98 filler episodes out of 200 episodes in the 90's Sailor Moon anime. But the hate for it in the comments were not that intense. Just remember how hard it is to produce just one episode of an animated series.

Pierrot treats their franchise shows pretty badly, but a lot of their in-house work (Great Teacher Onizuka, Key the Metal Idol, Polar Bear Café, etc.) are pretty great.
+Uzumaki Naruto I would say fuck the last 60 episodes of Naruto and just Remaster them, the animation lately is just terrible, and it's supposed to be the Ending of Naruto, they could have just waited to Animate Naruto The Last and Boruto Naruto the Movie.
They animated Bleach pretty well. I understand how you feel, they need better animation for naruto but consider how long its run. How many years they work with a set budget. Think about it this way, long running series like naruto, can't retain the same quality as other anime like one punch man. Which is only 12 episodes long and used more money. Its expensive, they would go bankrupt if they tried to animate in the same exact quality they use for the fights and openings or OVA's. There's a lot more work for those specific scenes. Its not easy when you have deadlines.
I love videos like this seeing how anime studios make the animes that we watch and enjoy. Though I would personally want to see a behind the scenes at OLM Inc and see how they do animes in a team based environment. Like how they choose which team will do the new anime and the process of making it that's what I would really enjoy.

I didn't think they handled all the illustrations for the marketing and other products. They way he said it, Pierrot negotiated the licensing for all the games and merchandise. It seems like they have more control of the IP than the mangaka.

For God's sake stop using papers for animation its slowing down the production scanning them doing revisions from few digital artists printing them shifting drawings physically instead of working digitally and using server based system or at least cloud sharing can speed up the process and can relive the burden from the animators
