Eurorack ambient // Yamaha CP88, Instruo Arbhar, Makenoise Morphagene and Vongon Ultrasheer

After a year full of trials and experimentation, I now feel that I have more ideas and elements to establish a workflow that allows me to express and evolve melodies in a more comfortable way. I have made some (inevitable) changes to my Eurorack, which give me new possibilities that I will continue to test, but one of the greatest satisfactions has been building my first DIY Eurorack module. It was quite an experience and very fulfilling, especially because it was a module I had been waiting to find for some time: a stereo matrix that allows me to route 4 inputs and 4 outputs freely.
I believe that being able to combine Eurorack pieces, my Yamaha CP88, OP-1 field, or pedals in a free and cross-linked way to develop ideas live is definitely what brings me the most satisfaction. Today, I was testing for that saturation and dense, nostalgic sound, where the Rhodes not only plays by itself but also feeds phrases into an Instruo Arbhar that breaks them into granules and generates new textures. The combination evoked “remembrances” of the past, memories that never go away or that you long for when you see they're no longer there.

The way I try to create each video I upload to TH-cam sometimes takes time or opportunity that sometimes I don't get out even though the idea is in my head. I'm glad you continue to like them. After the last trilogy (I don't know if you got to see the third part), it's been a little more spaced out but I have something new in process that I hope to upload this week.
