- In this video I show you how to catch a fly using your bare hands.
I have a theory that I have been working on and I need as much input as possible.
If you are willing please answer the following questions:
Have you ever learned any self defense?
Do you believe in the right to defend yourself?
To what extent are you willing to go?
Do you study a martial art? If so what style?
Would you say that your style is good for self defense?
How or what do you use to catch a fly?

After doing NoFap for 6 months, I started noticing my reflexes where faster. Catching flies mid air is a perk I didn't expect.

Watch the fly closely, the moment it lifts and rubs front legs is the moment to move. It can't fly off immediately, so you have a few milliseconds advantage.
Next time you should try some chop sticks 😂

I grew up catching flies in mid air as a kid, I was curious if others do it too that’s why I got, after reading some article and stumbling to this video, I realize flies can easily change directions so you need to catch it in lightning speed, never realize I have that kind of talent until now 😂

One fly landed on my brother's forehead, and I shot the fly.
I jus found out am not alone been doing since I was a kid , I think u can be a great fighter to master mid air
When I was a kid I was just pinching the air for some reason then I ended up pinching a fly between my thumb and my index
A fly cannot notice things moving slowly giving you opportunity to get close. When you sweep for it it sees the movement and tries to escape flying into your hand trap. Saw this as a child, been hand catching since ✊ it still amazes people today 😎

I looked this up NOT as a joke because this fly was pissing me off and no shit I caught it the first try while the guy did. I am the chosen one.

Your taking the easy method. Can you catch them mid air? It’s not that difficult but does require fast reflexes and a bit of technique.
But can you catch them with chopsticks??? :)
@@InstinctDefenseAcademy no I can not. I can barely use chopsticks to eat. So touché. I will give you that one.
Mid air is anticipation mostly. You do need reflexes for last second adjustments. I don’t catch mid air, I swat. You can pick up the fly and put him outside if you feel merciful. They recover after a few minutes and fly away.
@@reinvosrta4519 You can also put a glass over it from directly above it. Their eyes are on the sides, so they have trouble judging distances from directly front, up, and back. Plus the glass is transparent, so they usually don't realize even, at that point you can just slide a paper underneath or put your hand underneath

I can catch a fly in my hand pull its wing off and feed to my goldfish alive.I have been doing this since a kid and I rarely miss if fly is in the right spot it can really give you good reflexes.

1) Yes, I've studied and learned Self-Defense...though not through traditional methods.
2) I believe in the right to defend one self...and others.
3) While I'd say I believe one should be willing to "go all the way", I believe we should be Peacemakers first, Defenders of Others second, and Protectors of Self last. The personal legal, social, financial, and physical ramifications of fighting are often larger than anticipated.
4) I do.
5) It was actually developed specifically for defending self and others...and I'd trust it to give me an advantage in most physical conflicts, though no art can make someone invincible or invisible.
6. There are so many ways to catch a fly, but I'd probably either corner it or bait my hand. It's usually far easier to kill a fly than to catch one alive.

i have cats.. and i have their toilet outside so theres flys once in a while.. every time i walk buy and i see one moving i try to kick or hit it... 15 years ago i almost never hit one... now i would say one out of three i hit....

5. Actually I don't catch them 😂. I let it go on the window then I open it so it goes on the curling wire then I close the window as fast as I can so I trapp it between them, then I start moving the curling wire from the other side while the window is closed untill it becomes annoyed and flies outside 😂
