    When someone grabs you they've given up one or two weapons, and they are very invested in that grab. Don't waste time trying to knock it away. Attack!

      Exactly! Your opponent has both hands occupied and if he is very strong, you won't be able to take his hands off your neck. Your arms and legs are free. Hit the eyes, nose, ears. If he has very long arms, kick him in the groin or stomach.

      Also people don't realize that the attacker will be pushing you backward, yelling and whatever else at you. You'll probably only have time for gross movements, so you better know how to redirect & attack like crazy. Eyes, breath, balance.

      Attack? Attack what?You're going to get hurt. You should probably keep on the sidelines at the dojoe And watch the learned people, and then go and tell your friends about what a bad a**You are now that you go do a dojo for your $150 a month? Yeah, great job, yellow belt, whatever belt they sell you Nowadays, any idiot can buy a black belt for $5000. I guarantee the person that wrote this does not know how to fight at all

    Soo many ways take those. For women elbows are wonderful. Ok self defense there’s no reason why you can’t open the lethality. You’re defending yourself. Break things. 😎

    I like the approach, same as what I was taught and also part of good scientific method.

    If twisting the ears and being thrown to the ground on concrete doesn't stun the attacker, I'd be concerned about my legs being so close to his arms - he might only need to hook one leg and I would fall right on top (and of course at that time he would be very angry). Is there a way to continue to roll him over so he is facing away before delivering a final incapacitating blow (and where would you choose to deliver that, if you did?) Thank you.

      Great comment. If there is enough interest I would be happy to explore that scenario and make a video to show it. But yes that could 100% happen. To every technique there is (the possibility of)a counter and to every counter there is (the possibility of) a counter.

    Serious damage to the ears may be a bad idea. Also people wear ear buds, headphones, ear muffs and helmets.

    You mentioned you might not want to kick in the throat because if could kill the attacker but what if you kicked them in the chin instead. Would that be able to knock them out?

    • @InstinctDefenseAcademy
      @InstinctDefenseAcademy  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Possibly. Hitting the side of the neck is a good place to hit if you are looking for a knock out.

    طريقة سهلة وفاعلة ولكن من الأفضل ارتدى حماية الجسم حتى يستفاد المتدرب من التعليم وتجنب إصابة الطرفين.An easy and effective method, but it is better to wear body protection so that the trainee can benefit from the education and avoid injury to both parties.

      Maybe. There are definitely pros and cons to wearing protective gear. Lots of studies have been done on that. Target Focus Training is a good resource for that type of information.
