This drama is not for the simple minded audience. This drama is poetic, deep, realistic yet surreal and heart-warming yet heartbreaking; its like watching a story from a book majestically come to life. I can forgive the fools who think this drama does not deserve Kim Go Eun, I feel pity they fail to grasp the beauty and perfection she brings to this drama.
Well said. Can't think of a better actress who can portray this role than Kim Go Eun. No wonder Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook, who remained to be her close friend (Yoon Inna included), adores her.
Yes it is; oftentimes, negative peeps sprouted from ignorance. We usually resort to negativity when we don’t comprehend situations at hand- it’s the easiest to do....
I like how their chemistry is not the regular 'heart fluterring' stuff we see in K dramas but much more mature and deep. They both know that it's nearly impossible for them to be together, so their chemistry doesn't make one's heart flutter, it makes the heart ache because honestly as much as we want them to, we all know somewhere that their happy ending seems impossible to achieve. Which explains why people are not liking because it's not a regular chemistry or a push/pull. They know their time with each other is limited and JTE made the most of it by confessing that she loves him, because she knows that they might not be together like this again. Honestly it breaks my heart. Writer-nim, please don't wreck us emotionally like this 😭
You really have to read between the lines in this story but at the same time, they literally just say what they mean straight-on, it's definitely refreshing.
*"When Fate, There Are nO coincidence. Your Fate is Determined by the Choices You make. But There are times When Your Fate Chooses You."* ONE WORD: FACT.
The way she confess feels like fresh breath of air. So unpredictable ,straight to the point and sincerely from her heart. I swear this drama is a gem like literally, you need to remove the dirts before you can see the shiny part of it. I'm rooting for TKEM and supporting them by watching on netflix 💪🏻
A fierce lovely wife checking her King husband. And Letting him know she's busy and she loves him. Ughhhhh!!!! Guys that's so freaking sweet My happy heart for these two.
This is the most realistic love story I've ever watched in K-drama history. No going around the bush, no over the top facial reactions. Even their first kiss is not cheesy! I love this drama wooohooo!!!
Emy B. Agree. Totally can relate to this, I mean not in parallel universe form. The way kim Go Eun potray us all normal girl or woman that love someone. We said I love you quickly.
One of my friends say the couple is not interesting enough for her and I was like, "yeah cuz they're in a pretty healthy relationship and trust each other implicitly. They understand that they're from different worlds and that's already complicated enough. so yes it's boring but that's the kind of relationship people should strive for imo."
I like that they just go for it, after they got to know each other with no over the top theatrics (except for the fact that they're from parallel universes, lol.)
they really portrayed a real relationship. this is a mature relationship, wise in making decision. I agree if this drama not for everyone, especially who like push and pull relationship, waiting each other to confess first until full of fungi (never end). They would'nt relate at all. If u are in Long Distance Relationship or in mature relationship, u will freaking relate this kind of relationship. Relationship that don't waste time for unnecessary things. TKEM is a drama that need ur brain to think, ur heart to feel guys. If u just focus with their relationship scene and skip another scene, without knew the other story like lee rim, u will never understand their love at all. and at the end, u will say they don't have chemistry, too fast to confess and blalallalla, came on guys, open your mind. This drama is really good, the story is out of the box and very epic. And of course I ship LG and JTE ohohoho.
Ya , she said so simple and quick,, not look romantic, coz she ia a realistic woman, a cop, an atlet too. They never know,, when Will they ever meet again.
She delivered the scene very well, I could see the fear of regret for not loving lee gon in the right way. For not telling the truth about her feelings. She's so realistic with their relationship. Life is not always ending with happiness. She realized that 😭
this kdrama is so different from others, usually the leads take quite a while before they say those words. however, this story is completely different. they will never know when they may see each other again, as they live in two completely different worlds. it may be a bit rushed, but those words has more meaning than any other kdrama i have watched because she said it before it was too late. they are still at the beginning of their relationship, but it’s unstable and extremely uncertain. he probably doesn’t love her yet, nor does she with him, but only time will tell. it’s better to say it earlier than later. this applies to real life too. say i love you to all your love ones, before it’s too late. don’t regret later on.
That's the point. People said its too early for 'i love yous' but that's the point. She knows their relationship is short-lived. So she waste no time and embrace her fate
Let’s take a moment of silence, and let us all appreciate how beautiful this scene was. The way they look at each other 💓 Plus the BG music that used here. It was almost PERFECT. And the way taeul realized and accepted her fate. I liked how she took the risk, and say I LOVE YOU to Lee Gon, idk but it’s somehow painful to hear. AHHHCkkkkKkk! This couple is making me think and realized how powerful LOVE CAN BE!!!! 🤧🥺 Can’t wait for the next episode! This drama is literally not your typical kdrama, you just need to understand & analysed it because it is beyond beautiful than you can ever imagine. Period. That’s the tea 🍵
And also, event though they knew from the very beginning that if they enter in that some kind of relationship it will be very complicated, hard and seems impossible, but they just took all the RISK and go for it!!! They just prove that their love is so powerful that even the division of the 2 worlds can’t stop them. Because at the end of the day, no regrets and their love matter the most! 😭 how wonderful it is 🤗😍
I love this scene so much. When Lee Gon said that he would have understood and still liked her even if she didn't help him or was rude, I swooned. How can anyone not fall for a man that is as devoted as Gon? All throughout these episodes, he was constant and open with his feelings with Tae-eul. It's no surprise that Tae-eul fell for him easily after finding out that he's not actually a madman. And the fact that she confessed first? Ahh so beautiful and fitting for her personality! I'm so sad that a lot of people don't like the romance when it's so refreshing and logical to the story. The two actually feel like mature adults who instead of engaging in unnecessary dramatics, are actually decisive and making the most of their limited time together. Is it too much to hope for a happy ending for Gon and Tae-eul together? Also, I have to say that Lee Minho has never looked so good as he does in this drama. I am in awe most of the time he is on screen lol. Kim Goeun too; her clear complexion makes me jealous. They look so beautiful together here with the wind blowing their hair and the sunlight on their faces.
agree 100%. I never really paid much attention to Lee Min Ho before but, wow, in this drama he is like a walking greek statue, lol. I can't imagine what it's like to see this type of man in real life!? His acting is so heart felt & I've been a Kim Go Eun fan since her debut. she was just born to act...
Same here.. 😭 I'm so obsessed with this drama tho theories makes me go crazy.. I have never in my life pay attention too much for a drama. only The King did this to me.. what sorcery is this? 😭
Watching this drama requires you to dig deeper. You cannot take it on face value and criticize it because you didn’t understand the plot or why is it moving too fast or to slow. Time and uncertainty is their outmost enemy, i am glad jeong tae eul said those words before it’s too late.
i think this confession was supposed to be feel rushed. this show deals a lot with times or perhaps the lack there is. the inner dialogue here is EXTREMELY important and a lot of people seem to overlook it. fate plays big part in their situation and for the first time ever, she finally feels the weight of it. tae eul doesn’t necessary loves him. at least at this very moment, she doesn’t. but you see, tae eul is extremely clever in this show. she knows her and lee gon’s future together seems very unlikely. she doesn’t want to hope for happy ending, she’s being extremely realistic. she tells him she loves him because she’s scared that one day she won’t be able to. that he won’t ever know. she tells him she loves him because at that moment, it just feels like the right thing to say. so yeah she tells him she loves him not necessary because she does but because she believes she will. she leaves it up to fate, deciding to embrace it fully. this scene is extremely beautiful, breathtaking and so heartbreaking. it’s the kind of scene that gets better the more you watch it. the more you try to understand it, the more you realize this scene is deeply rooted with so much meanings that’s going to become a very crucial to the overall plot
i agree with you. this doesn’t mean that she necessarily loves him already, but she knows she will bc of their fated love. so she said it now before anything else happens
How could anyone hate this drama? This scene is gold. That part when JTE said "Things that are bound to happen are taking place even at this moment. I was struck with a sad premonition that this will be short-lived, but I decided to love my fate that chose me." Dang it's really painful. This drama is amazing! I love it so much! Thankyou LMH and KGE for portraying your characters in a perfect way. Thankyou for the writer and director of this drama you are all amazing. 😭❤❤❤
_When it’s fate, there are no coincidences._ _Your fate is determined by the choices you make, but there are times when your fate chooses you._ *(This is so true❤️)* _Things that are bound to happen are taking place even at this moment. I was struck with a sad premonition that this will be short-lived, but i decided to love my fate that choses me._ _I love you._ *~ Jeong Taeul* _This scene is so touching and beautiful🥺_ *I love how straightforward their relationship is❤️ Not the typical type where the guy always makes the first move.* _She confessed her love for him without hesitation😍_ _Lee Gon already had feelings for Taeul way before she met her that’s why it doesn’t matter to him even if she is super rude back then._ _He already knew what Lee Lim had been up to those past years, but he didn’t want to worry Taeul, so he didn’t tell her what he and Yeong discovered._ _They just cherished every single moment left for them to be together🥺❤️_ _I’ve got a feelin’ that the next episodes will be heartbreaking😭_ _Why there are people hatin’ on this drama saying that their both bad at acting😤_ *Like duuh🙄* *Goeun and Minho’s eyes says it all❤️* _You can see the way how they look at each other, They didn’t need words to express how much their love has grown in such a short period of time❤️_
To be honest... i have no problem with the drama. just like you i dont get why other people is hating on it... the one thing that i dont like though is... probably some of the background sounds and music they use... it just doesnt click with me or maybe the timing... i dont know, im still gonna watch it till the end.
she accepted the fact that one day, they will never meet again so she chose to be brave and confess her feelings for him. I vvv love this scene. This is a masterpiece. ❤️💯
They really did a good job when delivered this scene. Their eyes said eveything. Tae eul said “I love you” to him while holding her tears, She knew that the time Lee lim’s case close, the gate must be closed, & she won’t see him again so she’s like “I must say it to him before it’s to late”. While Lee gon accepted her “I love you” words with surprise-joy-and then a bit of sadness, he noticed her almost crying eyes so he just said “I do too” with smile. 👏👏 Why I get the feeling when Lee gon asks her to go his kingdom, she’ll says yes but just for close Lee lim’s case? Then she’ll go back to her world for real. And why I also get the feeling, that the 17th rule she’ll give to him is “not to come”? 😭😭
No, the rule of not t come cannot be happen, because Lee Gon already gave 2 rule which are 1. Don't ask him to go 2. Don't ask me to come. But please correct me if I'm wrong. Hope there'll be solutions for them😢
He finally gotten his Queen to admit her love for him, but both eyes looked sad, giving away their inner feelings of a sweet but bitter short span love? My heart is tearing...
I have watched this scene a gazillion times and the more I watched it, the sadder I get. The way KGE delivered the L-bomb is the saddest ever, the expression of her face and her eyes said it all... plus the music accompaniment, didn't help my tears from swelling up. KGE's acceptance of their situation did not make her hesitate to love despite all circumstances, the raw honesty in her makes my heart break. This drama is the most mature, complex and scientific love story I have ever seen so far in all my years of watching Korean novelas.
Eul's saying *"I Love You"* with a straight face despite her mind and heart having the worries. It's a beautiful and risky thing AT the same time. I'M SO TOUCHED.
This drama really is a gem! You will not find such a realistic portrayal of Love in any K-drama, at least that is what I think. Not only did they accept their feelings, they also confessed like mature people without dragging the whole dilemma till the last episode, where everything is bound to end. I love the fact that this drama has thrown the whole cliche stuff completely out of the window. It must have been a really hard decision considering all the backlash they were going to face, they must have known that lots of people will not be able to understand such a masterpiece, still I'm grateful that they did take such a decision because I really wanted to watch such a K-drama where there were no sugar-coating, no chessy dialogues, and no over the top expressions and face time to fill the time slots. I finally get to watch such a drama, Thank you Writers for writing such a beautiful story which makes my heart flutter but at the same time makes my heart ache and Actors for bringing the characters so beautifully to life.
When Eul turn around and say the words so casual. And literally made Gon shook, it took him a seconds to register what he just heard. He look so cute like he was on a cloud nine floating.
This is the best confession scene that I have ever watched. She knows that it is indeed possible that their time to love each other will be short but she chose to confess her love for him.
I love how the actors never break out of their characters.Tae Eul is not your typical damsel. She's stong and straightforward. She says what she thinks and acts on what she feels.I think this is the most beautiful declaration of love Lee Gon could ever get out of Tae Eul.And he knows it.Bittersweet!Never thought these three words{ILY}could make me cry!
So totally agree with everything you said!! She is the realest person he has probably encountered. In terms of giving everything to him straight and honestly. She never tried to hide behind a shy or false facade. What he saw and heard from her directly is what he got, literally. She was always true to herself. I feel like he loves that the most about her. Thats why when he said yes, even though she was rude, he still fell for her. Because everyone treats him like a king with reverence, but she treats him as a real man. 😍💖
The realization came after she knew about Lee Lim being alive & possibly staying in her world, that makes it even more difficult (besides them coming from two different worlds), for me, it just makes sense. 🙏🏼 Also, I love the representation of women, through her character, in talks of dating & romantic relationships - rational, straightforward & yes, breaking stereotypes. 🙏🏼❤️
such a simple "i love you" but why does it made my heart ache so much??? The scene, the instrumental, its making me feel sad. It's beautiful but sad at the same time.
Im crying because i know deep inside Tae-eul is worried about their relationship. She's hurting because they dont know the future of their relationship. She wants to make sure that she will say she loves him.
This scene is lit! So mature and realistic. When she narrated about fate, it was beautiful and genuine. They are not your typical kdrama romance. Their chemistry it just grows on you. Ditto means = likewise/me too.
Everything about this scene is well done. The way the director caught the setting sunlight... the change in emotions and expressions on both actor’s faces, their eyes truly speaking their souls... the dialogue that shows avoidance and confrontation at the recognition of love and fate... and the soft music at the end. Holding this moment in my heart for a while as it’s not overly dramatized, but so purely felt because this is how true life is. *No matter what the future holds, they know they’ve found love* ❤️
The way she said Ilove you is with tears eyes ..she keep holding her feelings of being grateful that king is in front t of him and loved him ...everytime they see each other they are always keeping the tears to fall down I feel those tears will show later with heartbreaking scene 😭😭😭
Yes yes yes yes. Never take anything for granted. She knew that he could go anytime and she profess her love right away. No beating around the bush and just.. I love you. 😭😭😭 THIS IS SO SAD YET SO BEAUTIFUL
"Saranghaeo.." / "Jeong Tae Eul..nadoo" Believe me, such dialogue is very simple, but it has made it difficult for me to sleep for the past few days 😊💕
What I like about this scene is that.. He tells he no matter what ..he would fall for her.. He doesn't put his fears about what he discovered during the day on her and she follows her intuition and knows his sincerity and chooses to love him..and to accept an impossible love as her fate..for she knows how difficult this love this..she had left his world at the brink of war and there was nothing she could but wait..with no news about him..This is the most amazing thing I feel.. She knows this whole relationship might be short lived.. She accepts her feelings and the potential in her to love him..
I'm always captivated everytime when she does voiceover like this.. it feels therapeutic but so sorrowful at the same time as if she knew that this kind of feelings or happiness is short-lived :( I want them to end with each other.
I love that their character is a straight-forward person and do anything with logic and quick to make decision. Even though each of them have their own agenda to finish but if it about their relationship, they seems like have massive trust to each other. I hope, they'll keep on their character and view in their relationship till the end.
The before and after of his expression when she said I love you... priceless ! I can only find the love I want in greatly written and acted out dramas... lol.
This scene was truly beautiful, romantic and heartbreaking at the same time ❤️ Her emotions portrayed when she said “I love you” broke my heart 💔 She decided that despite the high possibility of them not being together in the end, she chose to love him in that moment, and every moment they’re together until the end 😥💔
People complaining about how fast she say I Love You, I mean come onn can’t you see. If you have your partner from other universes or someone you love is sick. Will you do the same? For I’ll. appreciate every moment with someone you really love. Goshhh why I already feel sad for this drama.😓😭
The charecter of Tae-eul here, she is a realistic women, a police, a takwondo atlet. She realizes that she can't see Lee Gun again. So she says 'saranghe' as soon as possible. Not because she wants to date, but to make Lee Gun knows her feeling.
"I love you" then you can slowly hear paul Kim "you are my dream.." SIR, THIS SCENE RIGHT HERE SIR ! DANG THEY REALLY KNOW HOW TO MAKE A PERFECT CONFESSION SCENE! and oh not to forget followed by Lee Min Ho's shocked Pikachu face hahahahha so cute these two
This show is sooooo good, I binged for 7 hours yesterday!!! Is the rating low?? How?? The storyline , acting, comic relief , sets, direction is amazing. I am enthralled.
I know, right? Maybe because people just care about visuals and cheesy types of story lines in a drama. They don't acknowledge the skills, talents of actors and the whole production team of TKEM. That is why it has low ratings in their country. But viewers from other countries appreciate everything from this drama. A masterpiece.
As a detective she's already gotten all the proof that she needed to find out that LG is her fate, that's why finally she didn't waste the time to say i love u after her last question be answered..
I can feel Jeong Tae Eul. Even not in the parallel word, we need to say our love out loud, without hesitation, cause nothing seem predictable anymore especially in these pandemic days...
I love this couple so much! Tae Eul with her tsundere style, strong and independent woman. Other side, Lee Gon is the sweetest boyfriend, who always show his affection and its clearly a fact that he deeply in love.
This whole drama is wonderfully made. Even though it is science fiction, it has very realistic and human reactions to certain things like fate. Fate really doesn't acknowledge time or events. It will happen when it has to! So her saying I love you, very bold move if you ask me. A lot of people never get that chance. So why wait? If you genuinely feel that way just express it. ❤😔❤
People complain about this scene but people need to remember that: 1. She found out about the news from the phone and has confirmed with Lee Gon that the K Stadium is in Corea 2. Lee Rim's death certificate 3. She came from the Care Center and it was very suspicious 4. They haven't seen each other for about a day or two She realized how dire the situation is plus the fact that they live in two worlds and that world is about to have some kind of war. Her feelings and her confession is as random as the entire phenomena. So I think the scene is perfect.
@ivygail Yeah could be longer. The last time they saw each other before the confession was I think their date night. But then it can't be too long since Lee Gon were suppose to stay in Korea until Thursday. We don't know when Lee Gon and Yeong exactly went, whether it's a Sunday or Monday.
I’m obsessed with the BGM & replayed this scene a million times - the way he was walking towards her, smiling & the way the scene was shot 😩🥰 - the BGM playing at the beginning is called “If Only” - thank me later 😉❤️
I'm still mesmerized watching this scene even after replaying it for the nth time. I can't believe the amount of melancholy that they were able to put in here. It was both romantic and beautiful yet sad at the same time. Their love for each other was clearly expressed through their eyes ; it was so genuine I can feel it in my bones. It was as if they're already longing for each other even though they are together. Watching this and listening to their OSTs, we can safely say that they are destined for each other. Fate brought them together. There is no logic that can explain it. They cannot fight the attraction and love just like gravity. That's why, some people may think they fell too fast, but nope, it was fateful love. I'm loving every moment of this drama. The acting were very subtle and natural. ♥️ P.S. Thank you for uploading this content, The Swoon. You made my day.🥰
Me too! Huhuhu! The way they made their scenes are just different. So on point with "they're already longing for each other even though they are together", that's why JTE had to visit/see him before she was suppose to do a stakeout, she's not sure if he'll be there once she's done.
I think the sorrowful love is a moment like this. A confession of love and at the same time realized that this it just too good to be true. Aah is bittersweet scene for me. Plus this quarantine making me too emotional. I really miss going outside. lol
She foreshadowing the possibility of what will happened in the future for their relationship, that's why she don't want to be late and already confess her feeling. She want to cherish every moment with lee gon as much as she can. Her confess is not too fast, its perfect timing. She already falling for him since she came back from his world (however in this scene she hasn't have deep love but she tried to trust the destiny) and there are many hints and details as long her character development from ep 1-8. The production team is the one that made people confuse with scene placement, meanwhile every scene and monologue already explain many things. So far the only problem is the scene placement by editing team and too much ppl. Bcs the storyline and character were all perfect imo😭👍🏼 I LOVE HOW THIS DRAMA BROKE THE STEREOTYPE ABOUT WOMAN SHOULD ALWAYS WAIT FOR MAN TO MAKE A MOVE. Jung Tae Eul character broke all the stereotype she confess first before its too late! I love all female lead character in this drama, they all strong independent women
the way she knew everything: they will soon have to close the portal, they will soon have to say goodbye to each other, they shouldn’t be together and must stay in their own worlds. that’s why she rushed to say i love you. that was the whole point of this scene. she doesn’t necessarily love him, at least not in this moment, but she knows her feeling are developing towards love after knowing him and empathizing with his story. she now fully acknowledges their fate.
When Eul's put Gon on the spot. Having the realization to not waste the chance to make him feel what she feels for him. She's scared but mustered the courage to go on. SALUTE.
This is one of most memorable and sad confession I’ve ever seen in kdrama. It give different feel and I really like it . I think the next half of episodes there will be more tragedies and heartbreaking movements 🤭 can’t wait for tomorrow 😍 This drama made my quarantine life so excited 😂😂😂😂
That's really true.Their chemistry on screen was undeniable. We totally in love with this pair while watching them together in TKEM for Netflix series. I also wish them that they would become a couple in real life
Haven’t seen Lee Min Ho’s eyes happier in any of his other dramas than on this one with Kim Go Eun! Have watched plenty of behind the scenes too and i could see how sincere he reacts to her... hope they both find the happiness they truly deserve!😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏
This ia one k-drama that will remain with me forever. No one other than this original cast could've done it. You will have to understand Jeong Tae Eul's character from her developmental perspective. She has grown up watching criminal shows, a karate instructor as her father and works as a police. The way all these have shaped her character makes her cool, confident and brazen. That is how she decided to confess her love as well; with originality. LMH is the more emotional one and KGE is the cooler, stable one. The change was fresh, original and unexpectedly; much needed ❤️❤️❤️
Despite the drama being so magical, I just love how they made the confession simple and straightforward. No flowery or descriptive words until we get to the L word. It just mirrored reality that we just say our love directly to the person we love and it still feels magical, even without a breathtaking background (or a kiss).
This scene is heartbreaking. We want more of Lee minho and Kim goeun together, even though the drama is still on going, but halfway to the end of the season one. Hopefully after TKEM they must have another drama together.. their chemistry is unique even in their BTS, such a beautiful couple. We want more of them please soon.. 😢 Who's with me? ♥️👍
IM loving this story is so diferent from other dramas I have been engage to it since I started to watch and I can’t wait for the next episode every time. Most of the time I skips scenes if I don’t find them interesting but this drama it’s hard everything is so interesting every little detail matter and I like it.
I both love them so much! Their acting was superb! I don't know why only few appreciate this drama, when in fact, it was a great one. I will love you both always. Hope you both extend your love for each other off cam. Ayieeee! 💖💖💖
I really love the way Tae Eul told Lee Gon in advance that she love him. This drama is about time and space and I believe love grows with time but seems like the love between these two is timeless which means even love defies time and space.
The ILY scene is perfect. Very real. Doesn't seem like a fiction at all. This drama is going to be a hit just like the Goblin👍Good job writers, the actors and staff👍
I love this drama so much like they became a couple right away! In other dramas it's so hard to say those words but damn Tae-ul is different....and the courage thoo we stannnn
It's one of the best èxample of the saying "Live your day as if its your Last". Life if really unpredictable. You better tell the person that you love that you love them while you can. Cos nobody knows what gonna happen next. U might live on today but tomorrow u might not. Seize the moment then since everything is short lived.
The king is the girl in this relationship, Lieutenant Tae Eul is in charge here In this kdrama there aren’t using all the usual tropes to prove love, no falling on each other, coincidentally running into each other, or the fall and I catch you trope 😀
Actually this Love confession is not rushed at all. Time is not the same is both worlds. They now have been together for some time. If you watch again past episodes, there were many moments TE has shown feelings for him...the way she smiles her 'little smile', she does not give those 'big wide smile' bcos it is not her nature. I can think of few incidents when she was in KoC - when LG came to pick her up in his helicopter she was all teary when she sees him; when he was giving a talk & she was acting as a bodyguard standing in front of Capt.Jo and when LG ended his talk he looked in her direction she gave him her signature smile; when they were in his kitchen where he cooked her his signature meat/rice hotpot and he asked her "Do you know who I cook this for?" and TE answered " I dont know & I cannot compete bcos she is from here and I am not" (awwwwww! She is jealous 😂). This drama is really Amazing, quite like reading a mystery novel. I now have a theory - LG, TE & SinJae are all from KoC and they grew up together hence the love triangle part. I have not figure out the missing piece of this puzzle yet though, haha. Also, I think TE is the destined Queen to be married to LG and she was brought over to RoK to be protected. And I also have not figure out the missing piece of this puzzle yet. Luna is from RoK and she is somehow a guardian or keeper of the throne. Now have to wait for further episodes 😅 And I think future episodes will feature TE dressed up in pretty feminine dresses/clothes 😁
I don’t get why everyone is so focused on these two, expecting a flop somewhere especially the ratings, gosh it’s so annoying. I feel this is one of Lee min ho best movie, he is not so aggressive here like the others, just calm and cool. I mean they are other movies being released and nobody cares about the ratings soooooo why this one
I also find Lee Min Ho here at his best ever! His acting here was soo good and matured!! Mind blowing story and amazing portrayals of both KGE and LMH!👏👏👏
She accepted the harsh possibility that this might be short lived and mustered up enough courage to say those words....I love this scene
Beautiful said.
So glad that you understood this wonderful character development moment.
Very well said. Same thoughts!
I couldn't agree with you more.
Absolutely correct! 💕

I like how their chemistry is not the regular 'heart fluterring' stuff we see in K dramas but much more mature and deep. Very well-said.😭😭❤❤👏👏
👏👏👏👏 very well said
Agree
This is the first drama I’ve watched and it has set my expectations to high and idk what to watch now
I love how this drama is a fantasy but their love story is more of a realistic tone. No bullshits. Just go straight to the point. I like that fact.
You really have to read between the lines in this story but at the same time, they literally just say what they mean straight-on, it's definitely refreshing.

Bittersweet but hoping for Happy Ending for them. 😪
Luv that..heartfelt❤❤❤
This is how you profess your love: matter-of-fact; no bullshit, just say it. I’m running out of oxygen because of these two.
True ... Facts 👏👏
Exactly
Exactly... love is stated as clear as a day. Not indirect or toxic or painful. It just is. 😄❤
Feels like my breathing suddenly stopped when jong tae ul said saranghae. 😭
Yes😍
The way she confess feels like fresh breath of air. So unpredictable ,straight to the point and sincerely from her heart. I swear this drama is a gem like literally, you need to remove the dirts before you can see the shiny part of it. I'm rooting for TKEM and supporting them by watching on netflix 💪🏻
True..😭😭💖💖
Me too!!!
A fierce lovely wife checking her King husband. And Letting him know she's busy and she loves him.
Ughhhhh!!!! Guys that's so freaking sweet My happy heart for these two.
While their twins son is busy with their hilarious think 🤣🤣
Oh yeah i like your comment 😅😅😅 like all working ladies today. Somehow jung ta eul is so relatable.
She's breaking those stereotypes of female lead who usually shy shy and all.
COULDNT AGREE MORE. YES SHE'S BUSY AND SHE LOVES HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A realistic and mature love 🥺 I'm loving this
I like that they just go for it, after they got to know each other with no over the top theatrics (except for the fact that they're from parallel universes, lol.)
this drama is really on daily basis except the fact that it is a parallel world..totally agree with you
they really portrayed a real relationship. this is a mature relationship, wise in making decision.
And of course I ship LG and JTE ohohoho.
i dont know why, when kim go eun said “i love you” it makes me feel sad and crying 😭
Me too. And her expression was just.. ughhh 😭
Ya , she said so simple and quick,, not look romantic, coz she ia a realistic woman, a cop, an atlet too.
They never know,, when Will they ever meet again.
Fachrira MH same feel girl. Same.😭
Me too
She delivered the scene very well, I could see the fear of regret for not loving lee gon in the right way. For not telling the truth about her feelings. She's so realistic with their relationship. Life is not always ending with happiness. She realized that 😭
this kdrama is so different from others, usually the leads take quite a while before they say those words. however, this story is completely different. they will never know when they may see each other again, as they live in two completely different worlds. it may be a bit rushed, but those words has more meaning than any other kdrama i have watched because she said it before it was too late. they are still at the beginning of their relationship, but it’s unstable and extremely uncertain. he probably doesn’t love her yet, nor does she with him, but only time will tell. it’s better to say it earlier than later. this applies to real life too. say i love you to all your love ones, before it’s too late. don’t regret later on.
jieun 357 Agree. This make me more sad.😭😓
Gwendo_ Lien i hope it’s not a sad ending, that’s what i’m most afraid of
That's the point. People said its too early for 'i love yous' but that's the point. She knows their relationship is short-lived. So she waste no time and embrace her fate
Yeah but I think they have no doubt that they love each other
OMG so deep😭😭💖💖💖
Period. That’s the tea 🍵
very well said
This is a fantasy story but their love is the most realistic >
Oh Yes it is! 💜
Exactly! 🤧❤❤❤❤❤❤
I really liked Goblin but this drama beat it and rose to the top already. I have never been so obsessed over a drama like this before.
Oh my heart,, i am not alone in this rollercoaster! 🧚🏼♀️🧚🏼♀️
Same here.. 😭 I'm so obsessed with this drama tho theories makes me go crazy.. I have never in my life pay attention too much for a drama. only The King did this to me.. what sorcery is this? 😭
Me too
Same our MinGo couple 🥺❤️
I’ve seen lots of drama but not with this caliber- I’m bewitched but I love it!!! ❤️
Watching this drama requires you to dig deeper. You cannot take it on face value and criticize it because you didn’t understand the plot or why is it moving too fast or to slow. Time and uncertainty is their outmost enemy, i am glad jeong tae eul said those words before it’s too late.
gee mnkn agree. I can sense it gonna be sad😭
i think this confession was supposed to be feel rushed. this show deals a lot with times or perhaps the lack there is. the inner dialogue here is EXTREMELY important and a lot of people seem to overlook it. fate plays big part in their situation and for the first time ever, she finally feels the weight of it. tae eul doesn’t necessary loves him. at least at this very moment, she doesn’t. but you see, tae eul is extremely clever in this show. she knows her and lee gon’s future together seems very unlikely. she doesn’t want to hope for happy ending, she’s being extremely realistic. she tells him she loves him because she’s scared that one day she won’t be able to. that he won’t ever know. she tells him she loves him because at that moment, it just feels like the right thing to say. so yeah she tells him she loves him not necessary because she does but because she believes she will. she leaves it up to fate, deciding to embrace it fully.
this scene is extremely beautiful, breathtaking and so heartbreaking. it’s the kind of scene that gets better the more you watch it. the more you try to understand it, the more you realize this scene is deeply rooted with so much meanings that’s going to become a very crucial to the overall plot
very well said.
That's truee 😢
Perfectly sets up for a sad ending
agree. so.painful to watch this scene but I keep rewatching.😭
i agree with you. this doesn’t mean that she necessarily loves him already, but she knows she will bc of their fated love. so she said it now before anything else happens
Their chemistry seems so matured, and, so as the love..
She definitely the coolest Girlfriend ever..
Yesss🙆🙆🙆👏👏
_When it’s fate, there are no coincidences._
_Your fate is determined by the choices you make, but there are times when your fate chooses you._
*(This is so true❤️)*
_Things that are bound to happen are taking place even at this moment. I was struck with a sad premonition that this will be short-lived, but i decided to love my fate that choses me._
_I love you._
*~ Jeong Taeul*
_This scene is so touching and beautiful🥺_ *I love how straightforward their relationship is❤️ Not the typical type where the guy always makes the first move.* _She confessed her love for him without hesitation😍_ _Lee Gon already had feelings for Taeul way before she met her that’s why it doesn’t matter to him even if she is super rude back then._ _He already knew what Lee Lim had been up to those past years, but he didn’t want to worry Taeul, so he didn’t tell her what he and Yeong discovered._ _They just cherished every single moment left for them to be together🥺❤️_ _I’ve got a feelin’ that the next episodes will be heartbreaking😭_ _Why there are people hatin’ on this drama saying that their both bad at acting😤_
*Like duuh🙄*
*Goeun and Minho’s eyes says it all❤️*
_You can see the way how they look at each other, They didn’t need words to express how much their love has grown in such a short period of time❤️_
Preach 🙌
To be honest... i have no problem with the drama. just like you i dont get why other people is hating on it... the one thing that i dont like though is... probably some of the background sounds and music they use... it just doesnt click with me or maybe the timing... i dont know, im still gonna watch it till the end.
Say it louder sist
Absolutely correct..😊😊👏👏
THE SWOOOONNNN!!! DROP THEIR EXCLUSIVES NAAA!!!! WE ARE WAITING FOR AGES!!!!!!
Yesssssss more
IKRRR 😔💔
IKR😭😭😭
I just posted it too... 😂
PLEASE!!!!!
she accepted the fact that one day, they will never meet again so she chose to be brave and confess her feelings for him. I vvv love this scene. This is a masterpiece. ❤️💯
When every drama or Movie say “I Love you” we will feel happy, but why this scene make me wanna cry.😓😭 Same like Titanic. Goshhh that feel.
True same..so deep and dramatic..😭😭❤💖💖
the writing of the script is pretty amazing. No more cliche but out of the box flow of dialogue. this is why i love this drama.
Why I get the feeling when Lee gon asks her to go his kingdom, she’ll says yes but just for close Lee lim’s case? Then she’ll go back to her world for real. And why I also get the feeling, that the 17th rule she’ll give to him is “not to come”? 😭😭
i did think the same also and my heart already broken to think that will be happen. .😢😢
No, the rule of not t come cannot be happen, because Lee Gon already gave 2 rule which are 1. Don't ask him to go 2. Don't ask me to come. But please correct me if I'm wrong. Hope there'll be solutions for them😢
@@avyannagunnolf9448 1. Not to come 2. To stay here
He finally gotten his Queen to admit her love for him, but both eyes looked sad, giving away their inner feelings of a sweet but bitter short span love? My heart is tearing...
I don't know how many times I'm rewatching this, quarantine has got me that way😂 I wish it has a happy ending.
That sadness in her eyes struck through my heart. It hurts a lot😭😭
THE SWOON WE'RE BEGGING YOU TO UPLOAD MINHO AND GOEUN'S EXCLUSIVES NOW! WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR WEEKS ALREADY! JEBAL!
Trueeeeeeeee
Up! Up!
isn't we been waiting for months now? 😭
GOSH I’M NOT THE ONLY ONE HUHU 😔💔
Up up
This is a fantasy drama..but the characters actions and behavior are so realistic for me~ they dealt on things in a matured way.
Can everyone acknowledge how amazing this drama is!!!
such a simple "i love you" but why does it made my heart ache so much???
The way she said Ilove you is with tears eyes ..she keep holding her feelings of being grateful that king is in front t of him and loved him ...everytime they see each other they are always keeping the tears to fall down I feel those tears will show later with heartbreaking scene 😭😭😭
the way she said “iloveyou” is really painful especially her voice on how she delivered the words. the best confession i have ever watch.
Yes yes yes yes. Never take anything for granted. She knew that he could go anytime and she profess her love right away. No beating around the bush and just.. I love you. 😭😭😭 THIS IS SO SAD YET SO BEAUTIFUL
"Saranghaeo.." / "Jeong Tae Eul..nadoo"
Believe me, such dialogue is very simple, but it has made it difficult for me to sleep for the past few days 😊💕
DANG THEY REALLY KNOW HOW TO MAKE A PERFECT CONFESSION SCENE! and oh not to forget followed by Lee Min Ho's shocked Pikachu face hahahahha so cute these two
Minho's reaction was classic! Awesome acting!
ikr
Absolutely loved that part☺️☺️
This show is sooooo good, I binged for 7 hours yesterday!!!
Is the rating low?? How?? The storyline , acting, comic relief , sets, direction is amazing. I am enthralled.
Its not actually low idk why ppl say it low The rating is abt 7-8% which is high and on Netflix its trending 1 in a lot of countries
It takes a lot of courage to confess your feelings to someone, i respect how she managed to say it right in front of him.♥️
As a detective she's already gotten all the proof that she needed to find out that LG is her fate, that's why finally she didn't waste the time to say i love u after her last question be answered..
I love this scene. I love how straight forward and honest she is.
I can feel Jeong Tae Eul. Even not in the parallel word, we need to say our love out loud, without hesitation, cause nothing seem predictable anymore especially in these pandemic days...
I love the fact that they don't hide their feelings. They're very vocal and very showy. ❤️💜💙
To sum sp this series deserves an award . Rooting for Best Actress and Actors and etc. Gals, its a fantasy but it feels so real .
I love this couple so much!
Tae Eul with her tsundere style, strong and independent woman. Other side, Lee Gon is the sweetest boyfriend, who always show his affection and its clearly a fact that he deeply in love.
SHE CHOSE LOVE OVER FEAR THAT THEY MIGHT NOT END WELL! MY HEAAAART IS MELTING ❤❤❤❤
People complain about this scene but people need to remember that:
1. She found out about the news from the phone and has confirmed with Lee Gon that the K Stadium is in Corea
2. Lee Rim's death certificate
3. She came from the Care Center and it was very suspicious
4. They haven't seen each other for about a day or two
She realized how dire the situation is plus the fact that they live in two worlds and that world is about to have some kind of war. Her feelings and her confession is as random as the entire phenomena. So I think the scene is perfect.
Penny Dela Cruz perfect and sad at the same time. Only some people will immerse with this scene and understand it
❤❤❤👏👏👏
Right
@ivygail Yeah could be longer.
I really miss going outside. lol
They're the most realistic and beautiful kdrama couple I've ever watched...
Eul *"I haven't eaten yet, so I'm irritable now, No cheesey comments when I'm hungry"*
Also Eul *"I LOVE YOU"*
Gon: ........... SHOOK SPEECHLESS
Me: HELLA YESSSSS YESSSSSS!
Time stamp???
They are elegant perfection together. Both are exquisitely beautiful and brilliantly talented. I love this series.
This K-drama is not for everyone. I mean how can't others appreciate this. Especially this scene
Only knetz dont appreciate this...rating at netflix is damn good for inter fans
@@shinichikudoz Indeed, I think Knetz is habitual of cheesy, slow-burn romance with a lot of drama. Here the romance is realistic.
This was damn unexpected but realistic. Hate those kdrama girls who must wait fór The man to say it first and will drag it until 16th episode!
I know righttt, like you go girlll lol
yessss i love her character and itaewon class jo yi seo. they know what their heart want
Yoon se ri in crash landing was like this to brave to profess love
Bcs the storyline and character were all perfect imo😭👍🏼
I LOVE HOW THIS DRAMA BROKE THE STEREOTYPE ABOUT WOMAN SHOULD ALWAYS WAIT FOR MAN TO MAKE A MOVE.
SALUTE.
I'm tearing up . The fact that they both know what would be the end of their relationship is making me sad already:(
LEE JI EUN WORLD DOMINATION please don’t. I already crying 😭😂
Tae eul : “ i love u”
BG music
“ you are my dream”
“ you are my love”
I LOVE THESEEEE TWOO 😩😩😩
The ost makes the scene much more amazing 😍
The ost makes the scene much more amazing 😍
We stan this couple, because it’s more real and more related to us.❤️ Long Live The King Eternal Monarch
These two could end up together in real life
Lee MinHo eyes look shining when he’s around Kim GoEun
❤️❤️❤️
Never ship so hard a kdrama couple
Rubi Colin 😇😀
That's really true.Their chemistry on screen was undeniable. We totally in love with this pair while watching them together in TKEM for Netflix series. I also wish them that they would become a couple in real life
Me too. Loving MinEun
Agreeee
There is something so real in this confession which makes me relate to it more and more. Most beautiful confession yet💯
Who's with me? ♥️👍
How many season this drama will have?
Will there be more season?
@@rydah4464 hopefully 🙏
I hope tho❤️❤️❤️❤️
Me Too
IM loving this story is so diferent from other dramas I have been engage to it since I started to watch and I can’t wait for the next episode every time.
Ayieeee! 💖💖💖
heavens, if this drama doesn't get its deserved happy ending, might as well end all worlds.
Sorry I laugh at your comment. Haha. Yeah we desperately want a happy ending for them.
yes.. 😌✊
Lols. And I swear not to watch any of the writer's future work. She had better give us the happy ending.
김클레리 if it sad ending, I’ll be traumatised for few months and cry😭😓🙏🏻
I really love the way Tae Eul told Lee Gon in advance that she love him. This drama is about time and space and I believe love grows with time but seems like the love between these two is timeless which means even love defies time and space.
Beautifully said
The ILY scene is perfect.
Kim go eun such a top class actress...
It's one of the best èxample of the saying "Live your day as if its your Last". Life if really unpredictable. You better tell the person that you love that you love them while you can. Cos nobody knows what gonna happen next. U might live on today but tomorrow u might not. Seize the moment then since everything is short lived.
I feel get so much butterfly in my stomach 🦋🦋🦋 it's the most heart fluttering scene ever 💞
The king is the girl in this relationship, Lieutenant Tae Eul is in charge here
In this kdrama there aren’t using all the usual tropes to prove love, no falling on each other, coincidentally running into each other, or the fall and I catch you trope 😀
Now have to wait for further episodes 😅
And I think future episodes will feature TE dressed up in pretty feminine dresses/clothes 😁
DROP THE EXCLUSIVE GO EUN MIN HO RIGHT NOW PLEASE. WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR AGES.
I hate this when NETFLIX gives us a schedule for the next Episode why you should give us a drama with full episode
Ratings are not that much bad....Moreover, this drama is trending on first on Netflix in many countries.
I also find Lee Min Ho here at his best ever! His acting here was soo good and matured!! Mind blowing story and amazing portrayals of both KGE and LMH!👏👏👏
kim go eun and lee min ho really played this so well 😊
We stan a strong woman like this.❤️🌚
Even Math gods like Lee Gon need a minute to deactivate “L-bombs”. 😊😂❤️
BINGGO !!! HAHAHAHHA 🤣🤣🤣
Maybe he was counting the 3 words 8 letters in his head. I mean, in korean it is longer...hehe
