You guys…THANK YOU for this video. My partner and I are planning a trip to Italy next spring. We had heard about apertivo from other TH-camrs and are eager to try it. As I am a drinker and my partner is not, I was concerned he might feel left out of the custom. While we were watching your video, I thought “wouldn’t it be nice if they made a video about non alcoholic alternatives for apertivo?” And a minute later I realized we were already watching that video! Many thanks for this all inclusive review of this Italian tradition.
I'm enjoying your videos as I get ready for Italy! One question comes to mind about aperitivo, and the food portion of it. If you have dietary restrictions, will these places adapt--say, bring you a vegetarian plate?
I’m also enjoying your videos & getting lots of helpful information, which I’m noting. Grazie. Anyway, I haven’t heard you mention limoncello … yet … and thought this video was a good one to ask about it. I’m wondering if it’s something I can try at an apertivo? I’ve tried it in the USA at a chain restaurant and have been told it’s much different there. Not sure if I want an entire bottle, like Eric, yet, but do want to try the real thing.
Is aperitivo mainly a drink with small bites or is it just a drink or it can be just small bites before dinner without a drink? What’s the difference between aperitvo and appetizers?

Thank you for your comment, usually for aperitivo most places do not adapt to dietary restrictions

Yes you can definitely try it as an aperitivo, but usually Italians drink it as a digestive after dinner.
@@TravelAddictsLife Grazie! I look forward to trying it as a digestive, like the Italians do.
if i plan to buy a bottle of limoncello in rome (our last stop before fly back home), any suggestion where to buy, brand name, average price?
thanks
Usually the cheapest limoncello is at the supermarket
such nice guys!
Thank you 🙏
Hello from Canada! I am learning so much from your videos. Could you recommend a place for an aperitivo near the centre of Rome?
This place is in trastevere, not too far from the centro: www.vinallegro.com
@@TravelAddictsLife Thank you!
