I love the Fasta Than Yooz enhancement. I thought it was counter-intuitive at first having an infantry-only enhancement in a vehicle based army, but i tried it out by putting it on my Mega-Warboss with a squad of Meganobz, loading them into a battlewagon, and crashing it into the enemy front lines. It's fun and it works well
As a devout Evil Sunz player, your insight is extremely appreciated! I'm a casual player so keeping it fun and flavorful will almost always take precedence over running the most "meta" list possible. Orks are feasting with this new codex, and I'm glad to see that you're as excited to go fast as I am! Great video as always, thanks for taking the time :-)
I love that flyers are considered speed freaks, my 40k scale Ork Eavy Landa carrying 3 battlefortess's each filled with Mega Nobs will do better when they deep strike from reserves.
Hey I just found your channel it’s really good so far. With the new pariah deck how do you think kult of speed now? Especially since you can’t advance and do objectives. I’m really enjoying them and I’m taking them to a tournament coming up soon. Any and all advice you could give would be appreciated thank you.
So, a note for More Gitz Over Here and aircraft- It's not a matter of overriding the core rules or not. The core rules verbatim state that all the restrictions on aircraft movement apply "Each time an AIRCRAFT model makes a Normal move". It might be against the spirit of the rule and I could definitely see GW putting out an errata, but I don't think there's any argument to be made that aircraft movement rules interact with this stratagem as written. Let me know if I"m misreading this.
In my opinion the stratagem cannot be used on Aircraft, as aircraft must minimally move 20 inches when they make a normal move. The strat says make a normal move up to 6 inches, which would be less than 20 inches. Lots of argument room here, but i go with, nope, does not work.
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 Oh, that's my misinterpretation, then. If the strat actually specifies a NORMAL move, then it's pretty cut and dry. I thought it just said move.
Great walk-through. Locally orks are freeking out about teleporting weirdboyz and now lone operative Boss Snikrot. You bring none of those? Anyways that leads me to the next point: Consider bringing a shokkjump dragta to teleport and do secondaries? Which leads me to yet another question: Tacticals or fixed, and if so which ones?
i definitely spoke about the shokkjumps potential use, even though i think its terrible. There are of course other units you can add in to speed freak's use your brilliance in list building! :) Snikrot can easily slot into any ork army
I am a new player getting into 40k I really like orks, i started building and printing a dread mob army until the gave my grot tanks the legend treatment. now I want to build a speed freak army but I don’t know if in later editions they just remove it as well, is this detachment good if you want to get into orks?
What do you think of using Mozrog and Squighog Boys in Kult of Speed? I've been toying with including them in my list to function the same way your Beastboss and Snaggas are to run at some hard target that needs to go down.
seems like a bad idea, they have no stratagem support, and just die easy, without having appropriate killing power, not too mention it is a much more expensive package. The BB and snaggas hit harder into most Vehicle/ monster targets when you factor in the dev + anti vehicle/monster 4+ with rr hit rolls, and everyone hitting on 2's
I’m a new player in a group of mostly new players. Only one guy plays tournaments and he rarely comes for a casual game. I’m the only Ork player and every time I go second a quarter or more of my army is shot up before it’s even my turn. Am I being unreasonable for demanding more than 5 pieces of terrain on the board? Is there a fair, better way to setup terrain than taking turns strategically placing pieces? Like I said, most of us are new
no lol, this game is made with the correct terrain in mind. Look up the GW recommended layouts for 10th edition, if you are not using something similar to that, you are playing a nonsense game that has no balance
Yeah, KoS isn't really that good. Unfortunately. Buggies are too expensive and/or don't do enough damage. Plus they are not really that tough. I got tabled by eldar on Saturday, his turn 2. I didnt bother to play my part of turn 2, only had my reserve units left. I killed 8 jetbikes....
OY!! Uz say da kult oh sped isn't da winniest of da green Boyz. But Iz see day gets roit up to da foitin' fastah den da Otha Boiz cans. Soz Dat means day oready iz da winniest.

Cheers bud! Competitive players like to play list for fun as well, we just do it whilst trying to win! haha
If you get 10 points for painted then Speedfreaks should get another 10 for style! Great review. Pew sounds always appreciated.
Cheers buddy, ill work on my sound effects!
Saved the best for First. Nice.
If you aint first, you're last!

lol
Great video, excellent insights and analysis. Cant wait to try this out!
Let us know how it goes
Great vid! Really enjoyed watching your orky stuff as a newcomer to the waaagh!
We must always bring the Krump!
Your excitement is contagious. I have to play to at .75 speed. LOL.
:P hahaha
Been waiting for this one.
Ask and ye shall recieve!

yeah i sadly think Kult has been brutalized by Pariah :(

Ty, this is a lot of help on where to start.
...going to krump ya for dissin' da cult doe.

its the worst detachment currently, its still quite decent, watch my previous video on the detachments over view for more details

No consideration for Beastboss and snaggas for fasta than yoos? Cheaper than 2/3rds of the units you mentioned with good abilities
the value on megas is just too insane
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 i cant do megas as i have 10 nobz.(being frugal) 10 nobz or 20 snaggas in battlewagon with "Faster than yoos"?
How is the list doing that you posted at the end?
oh speed freaks is one of the worst detachments in the game. i dont play it.
New to orks, plan on making warbike army. Can you run a powerclaw on each ork or only one on the leader of the squad?
only the nob sadly, this detachment would be something very different if we could load the whole unit up with klaws!
Good think I am painting up a second Skokkjump Dragsta right now ^^
hahaha, it is a fun model that is certain! I am simply talking about competitive viability!
i got 18 deffkoptas... my life is complete!
What do you think about using Trukk and Boyz meganob buggy etc without using any warbikers at all in Cult of Speed?
buggy spam just seems bad
and warbikers are good. it just does not seem like a solid plan
...ofer!? Dat Don sound speedy!
appreciate your content mate, many thanks.
my pleasure buddy!
Giving up 20pts to bring it down is automatic in Dreadmob too
absolutely
Ok let's get to it

@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 thanks, I couldn’t help but feel like I was getting screwed
when the loadouts don't specify is this just the default gear?
pretty much, be smart about it though, your nobs will have power klaws etc.. I format it to be readable.
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 ah ok ya I’m just new to orks so not sure what is best or normal
Very sad that you can't do the reactive move on planes- it almost would have made them useable :(
would have been super cool!

sounds about right
Sucks that buggies are ass, its tne main model i want in my freeks list
pour one out for our homies
