ABAQUS Tutorial. Cantilever Beam made of two materials - Introduction to Finite Element Modeling

In this session, we covered a brief introduction to finite element modeling using Abaqus. A cantilever beam made of two materials with a concentrated force and a pressure is modeled.
Geometry creation, partitions, different material sections, output requests, step definition, loads, boundary conditions and meshing techniques are covered. In addition, some post-processing and results reporting is also presented.
This is going to help us later on when we start modeling fracture using Abaqus.
