Hi! Great question, the manual says for the first 5 minutes of use, 2000 RPM or less. Then for the next 90 minutes 5000 RPM or less. Then enjoy the Waverunner at full speed!
Yamalube oem oil is recommended, my race mechanic says only use that oil, its what the engine was designed for. have been using that on a 70 hour 85 mph gpr hitting 8700 rpm.
Why did you have to run it for 5 minutes. I have a wave runner sv ho supercharge 2018. I bought brand new i took to the dealer at 10 hours and 100 hours but i think that i will do the tune up myself they charge too much. you make it look easy thanks
Great Vid, I just tried changing the oil in my 24 FX SVHO and the suction tube wasn't getting to the oil. I pulled out the hose and it was dry. Any recommendations on the type of hose to use? The hose I used is very similar to the hose you used. thanks!
The dealership is charging 350 a ski, oils, air filter and spark plugs change compression test supercharger check a list of things he read off to me I would highly suggest that if you bought extended warranty
Say you put the suction tube to extract the oil "too far down" into the dipstick hole, is there a chance you can damage the engine by doing so? I'm about to change the oil in mine for the first time. Thank you in advance.
Hi Josh excellent question. Absolutely no danger of damage to the engine. The only issue is that your suction tube may start to bend upwards forming a J and not suctioning all the old oil. You got this. Let us know how it goes.
You shouldn’t be putting that oil in there. Yamalube is manufactured differently. Different properties. Different breakdown. Would you use Dawn on your car. Yeah its soap. Just get the Kit
I just bought Gp1800 , 0 Hours can i go full speed with it before 10 hours service or i have to drive it at a certain rpm till i reach 10 hours ?

Thank you! 🙏🏽
What does ten hours equate to in miles? I want to stick one in a small hot rod.
Did you check the spark plugs and check the steering?
Is there a dash alarm that needs reset upon oil change completion like an automobile?
Why do I need to warm up the engine? I would prefer to skip that step because I do not have water near the dock ;-)
How many hours once we need to do service for yamaha vx-c?

What happens if you add the oil in the black plug on top of the cylinder head?

Great point Jiggaman. You’re absolutely correct. Everyone should follow the factory recommendations for fluids and replacement parts. 🙏🏽
Not the best oil for your super charger clutches.
Poor guy put high mileage oil in his jetski OH MY GOD
Bro way too much yapping
Thanks for your feedback.
This was an oil change. It was not a 10 hour full service check. You say 12, Yamaha says 10. You talk way too much too
What a bad video....You don't show anything in process. Not helpfull at all
thank you
