I don't think the majority of people in the UK have an issue with legal migration or genuine asylum seekers. They have an issue of slow removal of illegal immigrants, people who commit crime, and visible differences on how quickly and equally the law is applied to different groups. It's depressing to see people pitted against each other. At first, I was disgusted and enraged by the far-right but they seem to have been forgotten and abandoned. I am also sad to see that the people who come to England, a once-tolerant country, being so marginalised and stigmatised by the media and by the politicians. It has left such a divide that would probably not be healed for a long time. If Britain used its riches to help improve equality instead of making the situation a lot worse.

I don't think the majority of people in the UK have an issue with legal migration or genuine asylum seekers. They have an issue of slow removal of illegal immigrants, people who commit crime, and visible differences on how quickly and equally the law is applied to different groups. It's depressing to see people pitted against each other. At first, I was disgusted and enraged by the far-right but they seem to have been forgotten and abandoned. I am also sad to see that the people who come to England, a once-tolerant country, being so marginalised and stigmatised by the media and by the politicians. It has left such a divide that would probably not be healed for a long time. If Britain used its riches to help improve equality instead of making the situation a lot worse.
