I have a MF20 Industrial which is supposed to be just like the MF 135. The MF20 is a version that has a bucket and roll cage. Hopefully it goes as smoothly as your repair. Thanks for the video.
In the auto plant I work at we call that master spline as you referred to it as a "block". So if there are three of them we call it a 3 block pitman for example.

@@BundyBearsShed The arms were slightly loose. I've tighted them. But I also tighted the second nut which is above the ball bearings on the top column. But now it's too tight to turn the wheel. What can I do?
Good evening, How do you re assemble steering box on gear box. I have tried and have trouble shifting from 1 -3. As well as shifting from H to L. Please help 🙂
Hi mate you mentioned a multi power is that a mf 135 aswell? Just curious my grandads mf 135 with the straight front axle has a multi power lever just under the steering on the dash never new that they where different or actually how it works or what it actually did. Great videos learning a lot
5:11 Ball bearings sitting in the bottom of the case cover. That's not a good thing. Assuming they belong in the recirculating ball assembly... Hope you saw that before they go walk about. 7:28 there may be a few more sitting in the oil. Can't tell for sure, could be globs of grease.

What to do if I am having excess of free play in steering. I've tightened the second nut you removed from the top column.

I was going to change oil on my 148 steering box, because there is still original oils in. Can you tell me what kind of oil should i use??
I use 80/90 gear oil.

Im not sure, I just removed the battery support and replaced what I needed. Not sure why you cant select gears.
Mr Shed our MF65 has been sitting for 10years due to differential problems. Its been fixed but its stuck on the Low Gear range how do we fix that
Remove the lift cover and look at if it moves inside on the planteary.

Yes I have a 6 speed MF135 and a Multipower MF135 as well.

I dont worry as I fit a new kit with all of the goodies.
