    I can see both becoming the victor in this duel, but it all ultimately came down to how they utilize their abilities.
    In Volt's side, his Discharge would be his most useless ability in this duel due to it being only one opponent being hit. However, it could still be useful as electricity damage bypasses Kinetic Plating entirely. If Volt had focused on using his Electric Shields and kept on using his Shock at a distance, it would've been his victory.
    In Gauss' side, Thermal Sunder would've been his ace in the hole. As seen also, he can almost instantly stop his Mach Rush and chain into another one in a different direction just as quickly, making him virtually impossible to track and predict. Activating Redline and using Mach Rush to circle the arena would bombard Volt with plasma bolts from all directions, constantly staggering and disorienting him. Should Gauss see an opening, he can chain into another Mach Rush directly towards Volt and instantly freeze him with Thermal Sunder. With Volt frozen in place, Gauss could then shoot him with his weapons or reverse the Thermal Sunder, destroying Volt entirely in the resulting Blast reaction.

      Gauss with Sunder would definitely have made it a clear win for him. Once he catches Volt close enough.
      But the thing I kept thinking about is Gauss and Volt while being frames that can run insanely fast. Gauss speed isn't normal. He can only run in a straight line (granted he can make turns gradually) his movements are not fluid. That to me is a bad flaw against a frame that can run how he wants.
      Volt like you were saying could stay at a safe distance and try to beat him from that range but. Gauss has more max energy than he does and with an ability that allows him to generate more. Volt wouldn't last. Two Volt only has a latron to his name. Gauss weapons are way better. Volt burning energy to destroy homing missiles. In a battle of attrition he would definitely lose.

      @@WildFenrir I see the points you are making here, but there are also the unique perks and drawbacks of the way their speed and abilities work.
      Firstly, Gauss' Mach Rush sends him from a standstill to max speed instantly as well as stops him just as quickly. This evidently shows that he can cancel his momentum if he stops his rush, allowing him to chain into another instantaneous full speed sprint by simply looking another direction and Mach Rush once more. It may be a janky way to doing it, but unlike Volt's speed which builds up and carries momentum to reach it peak, Gauss' sprint would be much more controllable and harder to predict and react to.
      Secondly, while Kinetic Plating does regenerate Gauss' energy, it only does to if it absorbs damage. Since electricity damage bypasses it completely, no energy will be regenerated for Gauss unless he's hit by the Latron. Although Volt would be draining his energy to attack Gauss with Shock and put up his Electric Shields, Gauss would also be in a similar situation as he would be constantly draining his battery with Kinetic Plating as well as his energy with by activating Redline and needing to constantly chain Mach Rush in order to reach 100% battery to ensure that Kinetic Plating doesn't deactivate and to be able to use Thermal Sunder without draining the battery too much.

      @WildFenrir  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I thought about that too. Gauss would move hella weird sprinting like that but the control would be insane doing it continuously . I agree completely.
      Fair point there I didn't take into consideration that he would be constantly draining his battery too.
      So pretty much guess it could go either way more or less. And also depends on who lands a decisive blow first.

    What Gauss lovers can't handle: Canon wise Volt is much much much faster than Gauss as when he runs he runs at speed of light and therefore slows down time to a halt as shown in the cinematic. On top of his 4th ability being a straight aoe that hits everything inside the area meaning gauss cant get close to use any of his abilities to take out volt. Volt can literally use his shield and carry it none stop so blocks everything from Gauss. Gauss redline is pretty much only thing thatll help him survive but won't be enough.
    We should also take account into the comics and lore. Volt is the strongest warframe lore wise and then Gara due to her killing someone as strong as hunhow.

      Gauss would have to be in close proximity to affect Volt one. Sunder run on battery Volt could wait it out. Gauss could try to bait Volt, but I see the argument with Volt not giving Gauss the time to get his kit going.

    This those not make sense as Gauss is more faster, more durable(armor plate and can absorb eletricity as its potential energy) Volt's ability to manipulate electricity might not be as effective against Gauss due to his speed and kinetic-based abilities. Gauss's ability to swiftly react using his skills could potentially counter Volt's attacks, allowing Gauss to endure and respond effectively.
    Ultimately, the outcome of their clash might heavily rely on strategy, timing and environmental factors

    • @WildFenrir
      @WildFenrir  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Gauss kit overall is better I even said that in the video. Volt electricity is not as effective to his Kinetic plating but it only absorbs it 'Partially' Gauss will still take damage from being hit.
      The armor plating can't stay up indefinitely either. It burns his battery. Even tho running replenishes it. Sprinting constantly still burns energy.
      And I do agree Volt can't do too much to Gauss ability vs ability. Gauss initial burst of speed is fast but Volt is the faster frame. He is shown to SLOW DOWN TIME in the opening cinematic. In a realistic life or death battle. Volt would just slow down time and kill Gauss.
