So here's the story. I did this entire video knowing it was an ELC EVEN 90 but calling it an ELC AMX and didn't realise I'd been doing it until I went to look for a thumbnail image and still had "ELC AMX" in my head. When I saw the image results I realised what I'd been doing. Yes, I really am that crap.
Yeah, I was going to say, the ELC AMX is a tier 5 light tank that probably looks back on its glory days rather fondly.

Is the Elc Even 90 really a tier7 tank?
I love how Aurorik has that entire squad of medium tanks trailing along behind him around the entire bottom-right half of the map, just happily blasting away at whatever he spots.
Wouldn’t surprise me if people know him by now and go ‘that guy does good spotting, lets support him’
I had the honour to have him in the team once and i must say, it was by far the fastest turkey shoot i had ever witnessed. Never had any chance to do any damage though. I was in the AT15 at the time.. 😉

I love the AMX 13-57. It's very competent at both scouting and damaging, depending on equipment. The greatest weakness is that the maximum ammo count is a bit too low for a rapid-firing 57mm gun like it has. I've literally lost battles I could've otherwise won by running out of ammo, despite trying my best to only shoot when I'm fairly sure of hitting and penning.

Both of those little bastards are OP as hell in the right hands. Few stalks of grass and nothing spots the even 90. And the 1357 is an evil late game assassin!

13-57 is hilarious, great for causing fires. Also you can pull alongside Japanese heavies and blast them in the side, they dont have the gun depression to hit you.
I did that in a M4A3E8 once.
I do that in my is7 to jap heavies, e100's, and mice
I'm still waiting for the twin 30mm version of this tank. The 'ELC EVEN 30' That will be so much fun.

Yes we know it’s a 57 mm gun and it doesn’t do a lot of damage per shot….the trick is to wait until the mid way point of the battle to really start shooting. That way stuff has 200 300 health left and you can easily chew them up fast

There's one battle that he "hide" inside a little-little-tiny bush in an enconter battle at Ruinberg, and the adversaries couldn't find him, and at the end, when was just him and Yan alive and capping (and TK still exists), he waited 'till 100% cap and then killed Yan... "Kolovanov's medal, baby!!!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

According to Jingles, today's video does NOT feature Aurorik78 in the tier 8 French light tank the AMX EVEN 90, but instead, the tier 7 French light tank, the AMX ELC.

Correction: When the AMX 13 57 was released people were correct that it was bad. At the time it could meet tier X tanks, and it had the same exact stats it has now.
auroric's game is literally ideal textbook light tank gameplay, its actually insane how everything was done right
To preface, there are two main kinds of battles in world of tanks when playing the normal gamemode. (some maps have different layouts that make for weird scenarios, but this is mostly how things work)
one team sweeps both flanks and generally wins without losing many of their tanks, these are the 0-15 blowouts people complain about.
then there are the interesting battles where each team wins a flank. these are going to comprise of most of the "good" games you see because of this next fact (credit to lemmingrush for this concept):
these games offer the highest skill ceiling and potential results. If you are smart, you can kill the flank you go to, then go and kill the other "flank" if that makes any sense
however, a single good light tank can make this variant incredibly one sided. when each team wins a flank, if one team isnt already advancing on the next, both teams go unspotted from each other. Having a single light that can catch people off guard when trying to advance across open ground, or catch someone waiting to get shots, etc, can turn the tide of the game.
Not only did auroric do that, but he did so much more.
he enabled his team's vision from the start of the game, allowing for the aggressive push down the south
from there, they took out artillery and then gained control of the center of the map which is ideal for winning the second kind of game.
then he pushed vision to the base, correctly countering the tactically correct push the enemies should make in a scenario like this
and then finally he pushed into the flank the enemies controlled to clean them up
literally made 0 mistakes and did everything as you should. light tank players, thats a battle to take notes from
over 11,200 games in non wheeled lights tier 6-10 and counting :) thank you for noticing :)

I reckon i can count on one hand the number of replays I’ve seen with Eagle Eye Skill. Auric either knows something everyone else doesnt, or this crew is skilled up to the max.

8 skilled crew and over 11k games in lights. It lets me know what is damaged so I can shoot it. If engine I can get a fire. If ammo rack I can get a nice boom and so on

When we went to Bergen-Hohne for training and had the opportunity to hit the base theater we'd all appropriately stand at attention for God Save The Queen'. One of the best things we liked about Bergen-Hohne tank ranges was that we'd be visited by a YMCA snackwagon (fruit tarts), a NAAFI snackwagon (pasties and brotchen of various sorts) and an old german guy in a small yellow panel truck selling wursts and tea, mit und ohne'. Our question was 'mit was'? Had a guy in my platoon on anabuse who volunteered to try the 'mit'. Yep, wrong answer. Mein herr, fur mein soldaten nur Ohne, nicht Mit. Sorry Marty, took one for the team there. And I stood there watching whenever he pulled on the range. They each dropped by 2-3 times a day. I learned to stock up on deutschmarks before a trip to B-B. Counseled my guys to as well.Our question was mit was? Had a guy in my platoon on anabuse who volunteered to try the mit. Yep, wrong answer, nobody gets the mit, ohne only. Sorry Marty, took one for the team there. They each dropped by 2-3 times a day. I learned to stock up on deutschmarks before a trip to B-B. And stock up on your favorite deathsticks because they didn't sell B&H menthol 100s. And Radboros suck.

And one time we were sent to Oksbol, Denmark for training (My maternal grandma was born and lived there until she emigrated. Shot from a beach into the North Sea and was the only time we were allowed to shoot service sabot (M392A2 APDS) at hard targets. Had five rounds, gunner shot 4. I fired the last at a tank hulk on the beach from my override looking out the hatch. Imagine my surprise when I actually hit it... Never again. From an M60A3. We don't need no steenking laser range finder, at least if the target is 500 yds away... ;) And it made a satisfying ka-whoomp when it hit.

Its funny but don't watch Jingles nearly as much as I use too. Still playing WoT myself(ten years now) and been a LIGHT Tank guy for almost all of it. In fact I have almost 7K games played in the ELC AMX(Even 90)......LOL Never like world of warships and sadly don't get many videos with Rita or Eddie anymore :( Still great to hear Jingles call a tank replay and get so much info correct :)

Well, to be honest, a good tnt bundle is "effective tank" when both in concealment and can fire uninhibited. That is not quite the way it works tho... On the other hand I get the feeling that there are only about 4 light tank players left in the pool, other light tanks driven by ppl that want to try something they have no clue how to drive

The main issue with WG's games, I will have to use a parable to describe it. During WW2 we find tank aces, naval engagements, bombing raids and AA, historical stuff right. What we don't find is the V12 powered armored car, tankette or light tank or mention of its famous crew that spotted tiger tanks or shermans or russian tanks, do we? I may be wrong. Similarly in WoWs we find monstrosities of air craft and air craft carriers. How many did it take to, say, sink the Yamato or Bismarck? And just how those brave pilots finally managed to make their important contributions sacrificing their lives. WeeGee? "Olol here buy these submarines that have 0 roots in reality". Have this removed DD that can fire more torpedos in 10 minutes than were available on all the ports combined during the war. These torpedoes they never turn out to be duds any of them in very sharp contrast to reality. They have both magnetic and impact detonators, just fire bro, no need to get the angle of impact right or set speed or all that. For rich kids we have big gifts with radars and future super pen gold ammo! Getting close to too ridiculous over time.
Yes and also calling the ELC a tier 7 despite it being in a teir 8 and 9 battle with zero tier 7s in sight, jingles moment😂

Loved the day I was in my M55 and dropd a shot right on an even 90 that thought he was hidden in a bush....insta kill!
quick question, how do you know you are hidden once more from the enemy? i know the spotted sign is obvious, but not sure whats the hidden sign to show me we are now safe and hidden
Sadly you can never really know. Just comes with experience
Once you're behind cover or in a bush for long enough (10 seconds) you can safely assume you're unspotted if you're in something as sneaky as an ELC. Furthermore, when playing the ELC Even, unless you're versing another ELC, you can go off the assumption that if they were spotting you, you would be spotting them right back.

My favorite tank, the the third one that I marked. That 57mm can tear up a heavy if you know how to circle it proplerly. Shame that the Wheelies mostly ruined passive spotting.

Jingles, I'm sure you realize this, just like many others who play light tanks: Scouting in an ELC EVEN 90 takes about as much skill as turning on a computer.

Someone spotting for 6,7k in the EVEN 90 and getting an ace on it while i get 11k spotting on it against tier 10 and getting a 1st class for it XD
World of Rofflestomps it is these days. The game has been going too long and the gap between the new player and those with purple kit and 6-skill crews is so great that the matchmaker can pick identical tanks in each team but still create a massive imbalance
All of that in just over 3 minutes...... hmm?

Great way to start the day, TH-cam messing it's pants so hard I have to reset my phone. Try to full screen 12 times before I give up, video randomly jumps to the end, TH-cam doesn't let me rewind because their shitty scrub cut thing just pops up and won't let me go back at all, TH-cam "full screens" and deletes my back and deletes my android pull down bar and my buttons from existence. Forcing me to power off my phone just to get out of TH-cam. Like and comment for the awful TH-cam algorithm 🤬
I'm getting more and more sure Jingles is deliberately making these misstakes on purpose... I mean HOW can anyone narrate a tank and missname it? ELC even 90=ELC AMX. Soon we'll see Jingles narrate these Maus gameplay... where the tank is actually a Manticore...
