Nice image and video editing! I’m glad to see other younger astrophotographers getting into the hobby and it’s even better that you’re putting your journey into video form to share with and teach others and I respect that. Thank you! About your final image, -What bortle skies are you in? -What did you use to stack and/or process? -It looks like 13 hours with the l-enhance filter resulted in almost no star color, so if light pollution isn’t too bad where you’re at maybe try taking a few subs with no filter (you’ll have to re-focus) and then stack those in with the others. Then during processing bring out the star color separate from everything else. You may already know some of this but if not I can point you in the right direction. Overall great image and I look forward to your future projects!
Thanks for watching man! I’m bortle 7, and I used deep sky stacker, pixinsight and gimp to process this image. Sometimes I can get star color with the l enhance since it’s a much broader narrowband filter but sometimes I can’t, just hit or miss but I do have to push the saturation a lot. I can definitely try doing an unfiltered combination!
@@astrotan No worries man! I’m just getting into astrophotography and wondering if a samsung camera will work for it? It’s like your old canon one you were talking about. I just don’t know how the camera would be able to see through the telescope?
@@vZacGTthe camera will be just fine for astrophotography! For it to be able to see things through a telescope, look into “T rings” for your camera specifically. These are mounts that go onto your camera that allow it to attach to a telescope✌️
I used to be a film student back in the day and a pro photographer much of my life. If you don't mind I'd like to make some constructive comments. Minor ones. A lot of people on YT overuse some words like 'actually' in their videos, so remove it as much as possible from your on screen vocabulary. Vehicle Virgins has been making videos for years and uses 'actually' so often it's comical at times. Your video reminded me a bit of the early videos by Marques Brownlee where he's doing lots of cuts/retakes, although you don't do as many as he did starting out. I'm sure you're aware of AstroBackyard's YT channel, which I consider one of the best astrophotography channels out there. You remind me a bit of him too although his camera position remains mostly static, but you do a great job keeping exposure under control throughout your 360* swings. I'd keep them to a minimum so that when you do use them they have more of an impact.
Thank you so much for the feedback dude! This really helps out more than you imagine. Starting out in the filming aspect of my photography has been quite the learning curve and getting more comfortable talking so I appreciate all the feedback you and many others give especially since I’m very small still! I’ll make sure to fix those camera angles man :) thanks for the feedback again dude!

If it’s a DSLR camera then that would only work, thought I should clarify, or if the lenses on the camera are interchangeable and can be taken off.
