One of the best coverage of the eclipse. I saw it outside Austin, Texas. What blew me away was seeing the hot pink prominences coming off the sun. It was very easy to see with the naked eye during totality. Awesome work!
The prominences blew my mind away too. We were lucky to have some really good ones and a nice sunspot for focusing too. I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
Fantastic video Tanner your storytelling and videography work just keeps getting better my friend amazing images thanks for taking the time to make these videos keep them coming
I like the documentary style, well done. I want to know specifics about the adjustable rings pictured at 10:10 into this video. I'm looking for some to hold a laser. Something tells me you live in south eastern Wisconsin?
The tube rings came from an svbony 60mm guide scope. Depending on how big the laser is it can probably fit it. It sits on a red platform also from svbony to hold it on top of there on the main tube rings for the telescope. Glad you enjoyed the video dude!
Well done lads your both making great content onwards my friends look forward to your Astro journey and nice interview with the campus police, nice touch , you should go back and interview the Astronomy teachers and see what’s in their dome , I’m assuming they have a Astro imaging setup .
