David is out here making his competition on youtube look silly. Tell me who has done as thorough of a review of Toronto food than him? I don't see out of town TH-camrs really in the trenches in Scarborough, Gerard, Eglington etc like David and actually talking to the local people and trying to connect with them. David's channel isn't even just a food channel anymore, it's about the human cultural connection.
Wow this is as such a nice comment. I truly appreciate that. You know I love my fellow TH-camrs each has their own flavor. So grateful for this thoughtful kindhearted comment though. Wishing you a blessed week kayflip!
I’m a big fan of Indian cuisines, especially butter chicken, chicken kroma etc. I also tried dosa and I love it too. I’m not from India but I can barely cook some Indian dishes from scratch.
If you want spicy non veg food try south Indian food. if you want to try milder, more buttery version of non veg try North indian food. If you want to try some amazing veg and vegan options try west indian food and If you want to try asian fusion food then try east Indian food . The more popular ones in west like butter chicken and chicken korma is not even 1% of amazing food India as a whole offers.
The paintings on the wall...the foods....the skill of the chef doing Naan...awexome!!!...lamb dishes....and so much spices would make very delicious meals...just amazing as always. Thanks David safe travels...Peace.
@@SigmaHailey : Hi Shabana. I am so glad that you get to see a little bit of what my city of Toronto has to offer food wise, and that's just a drop in the bucket. What do you recommend in Oakville? We live in Burlington (close by) and haven’t found a place here that is consistently good. Would love to try places you think are good in Oakville.
@@helenemalenfant5435 If you are looking for North Indian (punjabi style) food, then Punjabi by nature is decent. For South Indian, Annalakshmi is a decent restaurant. My favourite north indian restaurant for Delhi style food is Desi Bar & Grill in Mississauga. Butter chicken (ensure it is with bone) is to die for and try their Delhi style garlic naan. Don't go to this restaurant with ambience in mind because it is confusing , the ambience is like a bar but food is really good
Another banger! I thought the last video would have been the last Canadian video.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 Im definitely taking note of these restaurants in the city so I can try them out! 😊
David, you did it again. Can’t wait to travel to Toronto and check out their restaurant. And yes, again you made me hungry.😋 Have to go find something to eat now. Lol.

Oh no David, you messed up the naan😂🤨. Anyway I loved this video. You know, because of my heritage, I love Indian and Chinese foods. I loved the Nepal segment with all those momos(dumplings). Looked very tasty. You and Nathan did a very good job going around the city and highlighting some of the foods available here. Great job by your host. Looking forward to what's next. ❤️ BTW, you know what I love about these videos, is that you show us foods that we could probably try, now that we know what to expect.
Thank you so much Judy! You would love this food. Especially that incredible Nepalese food. Toronto is an incredible city and we'd love to return one day soon. Definitely another trip to Canada is in order. Thank you so much Judy!
@@Davidsbeenhere You are welcome. It would be nice if you come back because there is so much more to explore. In the meantime, take care, be well and be safe wherever you are. 🙏🏻❤️
LOL. His response made no sense. The only reasonable answer is because the food is not meant to be eaten with utensils. Is it possible to do it with utensils? Yes. Is it functional and give you the best eating experience? No. You'd spend more time fumbling and get the ratios wrong in each mouthful. NYC pizza must be eaten with hands, while Chicago pizza must be with utensils.
The city with the most Indian people outside of India.. there’s no other city in North America that can match Toronto. FYI you went to the most non Indian street Gerard.. lol the rest of the GTA has larger pockets with better food.. next time next time love the video
Momo Ghar's reviews online are pretty bad: staplers found in food, bad service, long wait times, allergy issues. The owner seems nice, but this feature doesn't match the reviews. It seems like local influencers get special treatment which isn't aligned with the actual experience or food quality. Khau Gully and Udupi Palace are just okay - there's lots of better Indian restaurants in the GTA. Downtown Toronto isn't the place for authenticity - they cater to a different crowd. This is *not* Toronto's best Indian food for anyone thinking about visiting in the future. Aashim as a local influencer has business relationships and bias. It's better to ask one of your Indian subscribers who live in the area (non-influencers) to show you the top spots. These are the mediocre Indian spots in Toronto, and nowhere near the best.
I feel sick just by watching u eat all that food, that’s tooo much food bro. I m not gonna eat for 8hrs. And funny how in the end you said this is little India in Toronto at Pakistani shop. Lol😂
Why are you cooking/handling food with your wrists watch ⌚️ on? The food is touching your the dirty wrist watch ⌚️. Rings, wrist watch ⌚️ and bracelets should be taken off when you are a cooking. That is so unhygienic. I am referring to the cook 🍳 or chef👨🍳
