I will never underestimate the Rizzutos or Sicilians in general. They have build an infrastructure and a worldwide network for over 150 years. Something like that is impossible to duplicate in 20 years, no matter how rich or how formidable of a leader Marty Robert is. Plus, they are extremely patient and have a very long memory.
None of that 150 year stuff matters today. What matters in the underworld is who has the power TODAY. Power shifts. The network you're talking about, the allies, they'd flip in two seconds if they felt like the other side is in a better position to win the war. Especially if there's more money to be made by flipping alliances. Alliances are reliant on being powerful and being able to make money together. They aren't "You're my friend and I'll ride to the end with you!" type stuff you see on a local level. On a big level, it's about money and power. Right now it's looking like the power and money are with the HA's and that will have a lot of former Rizzuto allies siding with the Angels.
Scott you’re killing it on that Hells Angels Documentary on vice right now keep it up! We need a full documentary on everything thats happened since Rizzuto went to jail in ‘07
