- I Did Not Expect BRUNEI Darussalam To Be Like This. In this Brunei travel vlog I went to the largest shopping mall in Brunei located in Bandar Seri Begawan. I lost my clothes so I had to buy some clothes from the mall and along the way the local Bruneian people were so friendly which I did not expect in Brunei Darussalam. In this travel vlog you will see what Brunei is really like, not what you expect.

Pasar Gadong is actually called Gadong Night Market in english and it's all local food and drinks. It's literally cheap there a lot of $1 food and drinks. Best time to go ther would be around 4/5pm until at night. Also for me personally the best ambuyat food from a restaurant would be at C.A Mohammad Restaurant. However it's quite a bit expensive there. The more cheaper and ideal way to try ambuyat would be made by locals themselves as they will show you how to do it. Moreover, come visit Kampong Ayer as well at the center of Bandar Seri Begawan. Also Thank You for visiting Brunei and presenting it well and beautiful

I feel like the reason why we're so friendly with foreigners is that we just love welcoming them and how Brunei tends to get bad rep for being boring and public transportation is difficult, so the people will always try to accomodate the tourists so they are comfortable!

Anw, Gadong is the district you were staying at. It has The Mall Gadong and Gadong Night Market (Pasar Malam Gadong) as 2 main attractions.
I noticed that you came to Brunei without researching much, that's okay. Some travelers love surprise. Gadong is not really in the city center, it is considered in the outskirt of Bandar Seri Begawan. Bandar is well-known for its majestic Masjid Omar Ali Saifudin and its surroundings, Kampong Ayer (water village), Tamu Kianggeh Market, and Royal Regalia Museum. Public transport is not really a thing in Brunei since almost all locals (Bruneians) commute by their own car.

By the way there's many reason why everyone needs to visit Brunei the mosque they have the most beautiful one like the sultan ali saiffuden mosque it's grandeur nasi katok only for 1 ringgit the nature the speed boat in campung ayer the peaceful surroundings the 7th star hotel in jerudong and of course the bruneian people friendly and warm people. Now I'm here in Dubai I miss a lot of Brunei the land of the liquid gold. Try to visit also seria where u can find the mining of petroleum there it's a nice place to visit also. Allah hafiz and enjoy

I went to Brunei in 2018 and I left Brunei in 2022. Brunei is a peaceful and green country, the people are friendly and honest, also their food is amazing.

U visit Brunei, but did not learn about the beautiful places in Brunei. I focused on the capital only. There are very beautiful places, Tutong and Tenprong, and the beautiful beaches of Brunei, Mura and Gordeng. I did not see the parks or Tamman.

A majority of Bruneians can speak English. You won't have a communication problem there. Food-wise, you should try a pufferfish curry dish. A bit sour and spicy, but scrummy.

In the mall if you see a Jollibee in the top floor just go there and there is a arcade and you must pay them at the counter first like 5 or 10 dollar then they will give you tokens and the tokens is similar like cents but.if your tokens is ran out then you must pay again❤❤😊if you go there just make a video i wanna see❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
