This was totally amazing Toyah owned everything and everyone and Robert Fripp blew us all away. I can finally cross seeing Robert Fripp live off my bucket list. Glad I was there.
@@BlueHopi144it’s a common enough expression. It means she literally made the stage her own and she even upstaged the act she was guesting for. She owned the moment, the stage and everything on it.
She's still got the moves, hasn't she? A complete surprise. A very enjoyable eighties singalong (and that said by someone who's not overly fond of the eighties). I ducked out and went to the Brasenose when Trevor Horn played in 2017. I'm glad I stuck around for this one.
Glad you enjoyed it ! There was an audible gasp when Trevor Horn announced them and they promptly walked out. We've all got so used to their Sunday Lunch videos helping us through lockdown and suddenly, here they were - live !
I saw Trev and the band at Rewind North last year but was only a short 30 min set. I wanted to see this but was sadly unable to. Yes I can imagine that audible gasp! Wonderful!
The 20,000 people in the crowd (of which I was one) didn’t think so. It was an amazing moment made more amazing by the fact it was so unexpected. Wake up tomorrow and be a nicer person, there’s a good chap!
If only the amount of energy you put put was directly proportional to how good you are and sound, she would be a superstar.. unfortunately however, it is not, and this is painful.. I've seen and heard better performances from high school and church choirs, cruise ship duos, and even junky street performers.. Facts! It's actually kinda sad and unfortunate for the band cuz they don't sound terrible at all. She sounds like she doubles as the bartender at a sketchy hick bar and the entertainment.. I truly hope nobody in that audience had to pay to witness this ridiculous performance live in person.. painful..

Toyah hasn’t lost one ounce of her energy and enthusiasm at all. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎸👍🏻
She's older than me and I can't even put my socks on without having lie down after.
Energy, yes, but I find her singing voice rather unpleasant
I find her singing rather pleasant for what she does. She 62 having a blast entertaining. I really don't thinks she's out there trying to win a BRiTS.
Love it. Robert Frip rockin’ the Mohawk.

My God she's still got it and Fripp is awesome
So true, "I was born long ago" but u still rockin Toyah, luv it, our wonder woman ♥ 😂
Toyah has lost nothing through the years she is still 1 amazing artiste ❤ Great band too 👍
Ive seen a few videos of Trevor Horn's Band... I really hope its something we get to see more of... they sound incredible!
What a fabulous band TH has. Those girls were absolutely amazing, fabulous singers.
Toyah & Robert were the icing on a truly wonderful cake.

It came out in 93…
DAMN ROB....it is FUN to just rock out every now & then, isn't it (?)
Fantastic.
Thanks for share it
A Rockin show with old "Beer and Hot dogs Bob" in a marvelous mohawk doing his best vanwailin. This is truly the bizarro world.
My favourite festival. A lovely surprise.
Oh yes that was so good.
Nicely done. Funny that they would do a cover, with so many other originals under their belt - however, they rocked it!
Part of the repertoire they assembled in their Sunday Lunch lockdown videos.
Enjoyed that!!!
Absolutely 👌 brilliant,
Great! Fripp forever ❤️
Robert Fripp in a covers band.
He'll be playing our local working man's club soon.
Well, that's where he started once :)
Check out Toya's and Roberts Sunday kitchen concerts - covers all the way. And ... errr ... costumes.
Amazing couple. True Brits..
It was fabulous. Made my Thursday! So happy to have been there!
This I would love to have seen / heard! Thanks for sharing!

@@folk_songs I was there too, and this was a real surprise. Fab!!
Now this really is a mythtery
Damn good shit....seen from afar...here in northern CA....keep moving, keep singing...damn good guitar, Mr. Fripp!
Toyah is a little stunner, lucky Robert .
Could do with Trevor's band touring the drama album
Perfect for Century Village or The Villages (Florida Reference for Senior Retirement Residences), I still love you though...
Toyah when are you coming to Australia 🇦🇺
that's as close as you'll get to hearing Robert play a pentatonic 😂
That lassie will never grow auld haha as we say up north 10/10
Behold, Fripp is able to play amidst an endless barrage of flash photography (and a videographer in his face)
Well yeah, but you have to admit that this doesn't require the same level of attention as KC.
Strobes. Not photography.
Yup. And probably hated every second of it.
@@johntammena1128 Nah, he loves being the center of attention.
When Toyah started singing the backing vocalists gave each other a side eye 😂 but she's amazing for 63 and she's softened Mr Fripp for sure
☮️♥️🎶🌸
Three weeks or so! I bet it rains....
Coincidence that it was a Lenny Kravitz song? Don’t think so. I’ve seen him in the audience at NYC Crimson shows.
Robert Fripp. Whipped.
Fripp can play anything....
For Fripp this is nursery music. I don't know if it does harm.
Why, Robert why? Where is new studio material for KC?
😎
I figured out Robert the day my future wife turned out to be much younger.
Wtf two camera in front of the audience.
Unholy racket tbh to my ears ! Snare sounds like a dustbin lid.
Frumpy backup singers were chosen for a reason.
As usual, bass player remains invisible🤷
That 'invisible' bass player is Trevor Horn
One of the most underrated bass players
She can't sing though 🤔
Snark tuners that look like tumors hanging off the guitar’s headstock look DumbAF. Toyah and Robert are great though!
No!
Don't want to upset you fans, but surely Toyah (bless her)must be the worst singer ever🤣
True. I Like her spirit but the second she starts croaking, I run for the hills.
Its a pity goya didnt have the talent to match her energy which bob has none he needs a chair always has
Total murder
One word....Dreadful!!
Her singing voice isn't that great is it. What I call titsploitation.
