Deseret industries is a thrift store that I frequent quite often! It's one of the few that I find a lot of vintage pieces!

Adventures in Vintage right?! I looked at it and I totally would’ve gotten it, but when they took it out for me it was in really rough shape 🙁a lot of the design was rubbed off and they wanted $25 for it. I had to pass. If it gets marked down I’ll reconsider!

I loved the deer too. I was wondering whether she was going to buy that or not because I would've bought that myself I saw something like that. It kind of reminds me of the two red reindeer ornaments I bought from my old job that I usually decorate my Christmas tree with- one that's on all fours while the other has the deer trotting around.

Those are amazing finds! Yesterday I went thrifting, and I got one authentic shirt, it has some cute little pockets with lace bows on them and it has beautiful dark gray and white stripes it is missing a button though. The rest was reproduction items like a blue polka-dot dress with ruffles and buttons down the front. I also found a tan skirt and a gray and white striped dress. There was so many vintage night gowns there! Sadly, none fit me. :( I also think I found some vintage shoes. They are tan with a flower on the front. I think this because the inside look so old, like they have been sitting in a closet for decades. There were some black shoes with big bows near the toes so I thought they looked fifty ish? I would never have been able to tell what stuff was vintage-like without your amazing videos! Have an awesome day and a marvelous thanksgiving!

The red refrigerator dish I would have bought for sure. The lid shows that it's the older version too. The little reindeer was super cute too.

Laci I live in California, Desert industries has only one store in this state, I travel over an hour to it as it is my most favorite Thrift store. When I go to Utah I hit ever Desert Industries I can find. Love this store.

one of my fav past times, I have the Jello molds like the brase color one, 7 in all, 2x Hearts, 2x round wavy with bumps on top ( guess those were for cherries ), ix that looks like a small shell, 1x a Bundt style, 1x that is small round with what looks like waves all around it, so love them, I don't use them, they are collectors after all, and I have a Brownie Camera from my Parents, love the 40's I think more then the 50's but I think both are so much fun, PS love your vid's, hope all is well with you at this time of History in the making, such as it is, sigh I miss the Planet, let's hope she comes back to normal soon

The fit of the black dress was awesome even if the color wasn't your thing.
Dear I think you missed the boat on a very vintage mixing bowl. It was white and had a pour spout on it. It went with a vintage Sunbeam stand mixer. ( I think it was Sunbeam) My mother had one, she bought it in the early 1950s. The bowl was sitting with some Pyrex bowls. Our mixer came with a large bowl and the smaller one, about one quart , with the pour spout. I have the small one but have never seen the bigger one on sale anywhere. Go Back!

I’m not sure what state you live in, but if you live within driving distance of Pocatello, ID they have the CUTEST antique store called Vain and Vintage! They have a ton of pieces from the 1800’s to the 80’s ❤️

I just scored an entire primary color Pyrex fridge set in amazing condition! (YAY!) Do you put yours in the dishwasher or handwash it? It is way more convenient to throw it in the dishwasher, but I also don't want to ruin the color.

Desert Industries is my favorite thrift store. They have only one in the State of California, it’s worth the commute to Sacramento.

Oh shoot. Now I want to go thrifting. I should tell you! I bought these cute little condiment things that was made in the 60s a while back just cuz I thought they were cute. They're worth hundreds of dollars now! One of them is worth nearly 2,000 now!

just one question - since most if not all the appliances u have are vintage, thus the mechanisms inside are very old, have you had any problems fixing issues they develop?(or you just use the outer vintage cover and the insides are all modern?) i know u said in the house tour that ur stove and stuff were working perfectly fine but just wondering
