Since I’m looking at replacing the hub assemblies in my truck, I am very interested in this. My old 3/8 drive brushed Milwaukee is probably not up to breaking the axel nuts loose. Breaker bar with a cheater would do it, but I can’t waste a good excuse to get a new tool. 😂😂😂
The Hyper Tough Didn't break a sweat. Good, because I didn't want to either!😂 I am very pleased with the purchase. I now have a full line of Hyper Tough impacts. I am extremely satisfied with them. My Milwaukee's get used far less because it's hard to beat a cheap tool that performs.
If you got the time i would do a review of the new impact driver they have, looks good for 45$. The new line is looking promising, i have the mid torque and its a killer deal for the money. The only thing i dislike is the slow start but for the money i can get over it.
Don't trust those numbers. Unless you do alot of research the numbers are a scam. The strongest 1/2 inch impact in the world doesn't do 1200 at least in tightening. Break away torque is a totally different thing.
@zig8100 oh trust me I know I was there the second he released the video lol even with it's standard battery it beat my old kobalt and almost matches my 900 I'm getting one ASAP. And I live behind Walmart lol
to be fair to the walmart impact, those blue 5ah harbor freight batteries were the first series release and have Samsung 18650 cells. Walmart moving on up lol
maybe the manufacture still had a bunch left over and still had a assembly line ready to build them but no buyers and walmart got a good deal on them to rebrand and keep making them lol
If it is it was a decent impact in it's day but we had problems with the vibration breaking itself. Had nothing to keep the impacting from tearing it's own wiring away.
The only hyper tough tools i ever bought were complete junk. I bought a cheap drill for the house, battery lasted about a week before it wouldnt hold a charge for more than 5 minutes. Another was a small work light, didnt even last a week. Walk over to harbor freight same price roughly and better quality/warrantee
thank you for doing this I think youre the 1st one on youtube to do an actual review on it
He is and I've been waiting on someone to do one because I got some of their new stuff
Torque Test Channel needs to test this
Yes can wait lol
They did. Its legit
@@deykno87 not the high torque
they just did yesterday
with the dewalt battery it went crazy
Getting this for Christmas, thanks for the review.

Tell us how it goes!!?
@@freddysoto7651should do good it’s just cheap doesn’t mean won’t loosen bolts
I have the old model of the 350 pound 1/2 impact and I did the axel nut on 06 trail blazer and the 08 dodge caliber

Thank you for your time!
The older hyper tough wrench was a great tool. If you find one buy it.
Thanks for this info 👍
Apoco es de walmart??? Se mira que si aguanta
Can you try using a Klutch 8AH battery on it?
Impressed
I got the Ryobi 1200 lb of torque for 135 bucks with charger and battery on black friday. Saved over 130 dollars

defiantly will be grabbin one these
Great video!
If it only does 500ft lbs ill be impressed. The price is hard to beat 99, and ive found it for 90 as a kit. Thats insane
it did 890 with a dewalt battery

Thanks for the review bro decided which option is best for me between the high torque or mid
What are you going to use it for. For general things get mid for things that you think will be hard to break loose high torque.
Thank you.

Honestly this looks solid but imo the king of budget high torque is the Hercules ultra torque which the kit is on sale for 209$
But for the price you can't beat that. I'm going to pick one up. Not bad for the home mechanic.

@zig8100 thanks brother i was waiting for him to release that video of the high torque. Saw the last gen a couple weeks ago when it came out
If it will press in & out a hub bearing or remove a Honda crank bolt I'm sold on it.
It looks like it should do ok for tire lugs yes?
I think so
Almost looks like HF old Earthquake 1/2 impact wrench

This looks identical to the avid power brushless high torque. And the batteries are the same too I think
Really ima have to look into that
That Hercules was on Level 1 speed setting.
Yeah because the baur did better than the ultra torque and that makes like half the power.
No it wasn't. Pause the video and you'll see the light on the third power level.

Id love an update
If your going to review a 1/2 inch impact, how about show removing some tough bolts, some wheel lugs atleast.
Wheel lugs are easy ima take it to the junkyard
Go make the video yourself then. The man is making nothing from this and giving you the video for free.
Seems like a tremendous bang for the buck, and if lost or stolen, wouldn't be as painful
The Hercules bolt was at a 35 degree angle. 😂

@@tjw8t1 Found the guy with a shed full of junk tools, its him ☝
That’s your luck. Mine is 4 years old and still works fine and so does the battery.
mine have been awesome and i am a mechanic
Put the camera on a stand I can’t watch I got dizzy, it’s like Michael J Fox is the cameraman…
Sorry lol
