It's so clearly intended if you're experienced with lego! Unfortunately, Chris is a lot more experienced with puzzles than the mechanics of lego - it's pretty clear at like, around 4:00 when he's like 'this could push in' that he doesn't quite understand how lego pieces connect and what shapes they come in, which makes lego puzzles like these less interesting.

I feel like the 'pattern' in removable pieces is that hole. Once you realize the tool is used to extract, then you could deduce than any piece with a hole in it for that tool is a removable/adjustable piece. You never used your fingers to remove a piece; I think that's the key.

Lego seems like a great medium for puzzle boxes since most people already have a sense of what forces are appropriate, what moves/what doesn’t, etc. which can also be used to subvert expectations.
usually with wood and whatnot you can never tell if something was intended or badly made until you solve it.

Nice work. I'm a Lego designer too, and I have an idea that can be an answer to your notes. Die hard Lego users have a certain amount of force they consider fixed and below that is considered "removable". Basically replacing a maximum of studs with tile surface (slick) and using only a bare minimum of studs to keep things in place. But some studs will still be strongly in place even when only one. It's a technique to allow opening up buildings or vehicles to be able to play with the item or to display the inside. It could be useful if a couple of demo pieces are sent along with the puzzle, to demonstrate the feeling of which is which. These demo pieces could allow the user to feel which force is considered a loose connection and which force is not.

I think you were good in your critiques. They were clearly meant to be a way for the maker to improve his methods and didn't diminish the fun we had watching or the fun you had solving.
I think another option would be that if a piece is meant to pop off, then, perhaps one of the pegs or sides it is covering up can be color coded so that the solver know they are revealing something meant to be revealed. Now that I mention it. That could even be a place for a clue depending on how complex a puzzle should be like some of the most insane ones you've solved on this channel.
    Great work all around.

Thank you for all you do .As a low income single mother with helth issues. who is a a puzzle nut. I fill me with joy when you put out new videos I may not be able to afford to get any but at least I can see them being done by someone who is as passionate about it as you . Out of all the puzzles you do I think the ua saka saga puzzles . Thank you for being such a blessing in my life I look forward to your videos every week

Like the puzzle, loved last upload too - think the variety is part of the channel's charm. Also liked your strange curio videos :-)
