It’s a test. I’d suggest End the conversation with a more heartwarming tone. “Baby I gotta go take care of _____ but It was great hearing your voice darling. Seriously. But sooner or later it gets old so I wind up taking the high road and make first contact only to be disrespected. I have a few more days of dealing with this. But I am no longer making first contact.
You're right. It only works because there are a lot of desperate and unconfident people. When you follow the advice of these dating coaches you get a relationship with a desperate partner where you are toxic and controlling. The right thing to do for a truly healthy relationship is reciprocity where both partners try to reach out as much as possible but at the same time are honest about when they need to focus on themselves. In a healthy relationship both partners have to be serious about willing to ultimately be fully committed to each other and stop playing these stupid games

This is from forever ago. But in your situation I would reach out one time (a week after you meetup) after that convo dies down, don’t initiate contact again until she does. Basically never initiate contact twice in a row.

Hey Cory love your work I just had a question So I’ve been in a long distance relationship for 1 year and it’s been no easy road the biggest struggle we face together is not only the distance as I’m living in New Jersey and she lives in Arkansas I’ve visited 3 times and stood over her parents house as we are very abstaining from sexual contact for religious reasons and when we are together we never argue we never fight and our emotions are exploding so much that she even said that she recognizes when we are together just how stronger of a bond we have together in person than we could ever have at distance and I dwelt and got a hold of that and juiced it for as long as time would allow now the thing is I would eventually have to come back home to where it became difficult after months I have just visited her for a week and I find it so difficult because I know it’s the physical touch ect that she misses but also she struggles with an extremely sensitive mind for example I’ll say the sky is blue and if she In the slightest way doesn’t agree with what I just said it would cause an argument thus her mind starts to think more than it should along with mines as well and then leading her to think about space/ break up How can I deal with this? Honestly. If he did more you would only wanna be friends only with him. Speaking from experience even When I spoke to a girl regularly, without fail they pull away and if she is insecure, she breaks up with me and returns two days later or the next day saying she is sorry. This method weans out the fakes that use guys for a confidence boost and the insecure women that are in need of constant attention
