- So this is GOT7! I love doing FIRST TIME reacting project to find our more about groups that I didn't know. I only knew lullaby from GOT7 and I do regret not knowing them when they were active as a group. The question is ARE THEY COMING BACK??? I hope they do!!!

got7 is also known as hot7 or visual7 because damn this group has literally no visual holes! (officially Mark is the visual chosen by the members, Youngjae was chosen as visual by 2PM's Nichkhun, Jackson and Jinyoung are both the faces of the group) and in person, let me tell you that I couldn't believe how the camera didn't do them justice (it really felt like life was unfair 😂)
to answer a few of your questions:
- got7 comes from the number 7 being lucky so it literally means that they have got "luck" and our fandom name is IGOT7 meaning that we have luck through them.
- you will see a lot of birds in their videos from 2016 onwards (like the one at the end of LOOK, the feathers in You Calling My Name) because IGOT7 (shortened to ahgase (ah = i / ga = got / se=seven)) means baby bird in korean! also our lightstick is shaped like bird! so it's to represent us in their videos!
- they are 3rd gen (debuted in 2014)
- JYPE debuted them with a hip-hop-martial-arts-tricking concept and then they went for cuties once with JUST RIGHT before making a comeback 2 months later with bad boy emo vibes for If You Do. They've always experimented with their concepts, it was never really fixed. Also since 2016 they were able to produce their own songs for the group (hence why If You Do sounds a bit retro) but it wasn't until You Are in 2017 that they were allowed to produce a title track. JAY B has written the majority of the title tracks since then and the colour they like the most doing is kinda of a bright concept? Which wasn't really in accord with what the company wanted from them (one of the reasons why they did not resign with JYPE) but listening to their b-sides like thursday, page, teenager, aura, breath (title track by youngjae), it's really in their b-sides that you can hear their true sound.
- All the members have produced and written songs for the group and now they have all ventured out solo but they've also produced songs with got7 in mind during the past year! They have the right to their copyright (JAY B did all the legal paperwork) and they were able to come out with a song called ENCORE a month after leaving JYPE under Warner Music Korea. So we will see if they'll continue under them or not! But it was pretty cool because all their respective solo companies also promoted the song!

That's soooooo true. I was lucky to come up close to these boys and they are absolutely devastating! Youngjae and Jinyoung literally GLOWS their skin is like porcelain. And the magnetism of JayB, Jackson, Mark, Yugyeom and BamBam ughhhh I miss them so much together ❤️

I could write an essay about how great GOT7 is.
GOT7 is best known for their song Hard Carry (as well as their difficult choreography) but their best songs are the ones written by themselves, especially Jay B, who has written and produced many of GOT7's best songs: Teenager, Page, Eclipse, Thursday, among others. Please listen and watch the live performances of their songs because not only are they amazing but their energy and passion that they put on stage shines through to the screen.
I met GOT7 through Jackson Wang just a few months before they left JYP and it's been one of the best things that's ever happened to me. I'm not exaggerating. Not only did I fall in love with their music and how handsome they are but they are great people. They are fun, genuine, talented, gentlemanly, humble, they take care of each other like the family they are and the relationship they have with their fans (Ahgases) is one of respect and affection. I really couldn't have found a better group of artists to be a fan of.
It's expected that this year they will comeback with new music so while we wait we can enjoy the solo work of each one of them!

The official visuals for the group as made by their previous company was Jinyoung and Mark, but honestly when ppl asked, we just say all of them are 😭

Lol they are all the visuals. I think Jinyoung is "supposed" to be the visual but honestly you can't pick just one. GOT7 are literally an all-rounder group. They all dance, they all sing beautifully, they all write and produce their own songs. This group is amazing and I'm baffled why so many people dis-like them, they are wonderful human beings as well.
As to what songs you should watch/react to; ALL OF THEM! Even their Japanese releases are freaking amazing.
Love Loop. I Won't Let You Go. Around The World. The New Era. Not By The Moon. You Are. Aura(live performance). Poison(live performance). Crash & Burn(live performance). Never Ever (my favourite song). Confession Song. Fly. Hard Carry. Angel (live performance). A. Girls Girls Girls is their debut song. And then you have all their solos and unit songs too. Have fun!!!
I believe Mark is the visual, but imo Jinyoung should be considered one too.

Just so you know Got7 has sub units too : JJ Project ( Jinyoung and JB debuted as a duo before forming Got7) and Jus2 (JB and Yugyeom). And all the members have released great solo work ( my fav solos being Jay B/Def, Bambam and Yugyeom but I think you would really like Jackson too). And yes they are all good looking that's why they are called Visual 7 ...but JB is my bias too 💚💚

Got7 are so talented. Jay B and Youngjae have one of the most distinctive voices in kpop in my opinion, Yugyeom too. Too bad a lot of ppl don’t recognize their vocals.

I would say Jay B and Jinyoung are 2nd gen since they debuted in 2012 with their subunit JJ Project. But the group as a whole is 3rd gen. I hope that makes sense.

Ok but their solo work is amazing! Jackson just dropped Blow and Yugyeom will be dropping Take You Down in a few hours! Oh and Mark just dropped Lonely a week ago and Jay B had a bunch of colabs within the past two months! Youngjae, BamBam and Jinyoung too! I'm going crazy with all the stuff they have been putting out!! They do not disappoint!

Yay!! you finally got around to my ult group! Even tho they aren't active as a group rn, they're rumoured to have a comeback this year since all the members are now back in Korea. If you liked Look, you might also like Eclipse, that song is top tier. It was produced by Jay b and the mv in certain parts reminds me of the Knock mv by Astro (my 2nd fave group). They also released alot of solo songs last year. If you're interested, here are some of my fave solo songs (they all have different vibes):

Also JayB made "Look" and GOT7 composed lots of their songs but it was hard for them because they created a NO KpopGENRE style (What I mean by that is not well taken in korea but well taken in the rest of the world), but they stick to it because it's what they want to make and that makes me so happy as a fan, especially since I love their style .
(and Yes I know their style is a little different each time but you know when it's a very GOT7 song if you are a fan, you will understand)

They are the most solid group on earth, they're the only Kpop group owning the group's trademarks and copyrights, and they're coming back after over a year leaving JYP (now they're all managed by 7 different agencies + got a help from Warner Music to distribute their music). Which group in the history of Kpop not disbanding & not losing a member after leaving their past agency? Only GOT7. Well, they're the best for me. 💚
Now my boys own the brand Got7,JJ project and Jus2. And i could not be happier ahahahahah They have a lot of r&b influence, which i love! And yes, the vocals.

Look was the first MV and song I've heard from GOT7 and kpop. I feel in love with the song and fell in love with Jay B. After watching it, I was obsessed with finding out everything about Jay B and eventually started scanning GOT7 as a whole, but Jay B is my bias and Yugyeom is my wrecker. Jus2 💚

4 members are from Korea and they are JB/Yugueom/Youngjae/Jinyoung and the other members are Jackson Wang who is from China and Bambam is from Thailand and Mark is from the US/LA. The rappers are Mark/Bambam/Jackson and the other 4 do vocals.
highly recommend watching the solo songs of the group such as Jackson blow or bullet to the heart jinyoung dive, youngjae vibin, Bambam slow-mo, Mark Last breath or lonely, Jb BTW or switch it up and yugyeoms Love the way..... all of these are very good songs and showcase their own individual styles

They are 3rd generation. They came in 2014 6 years after 2PM! They all really have unique vocals. So talented on all levels. They can all sing and rap. They all write and compose and alot can produce music too. Please check out their solos and collabs too. There is alot of content.

To be honest I enjoyed watching you get more excited with each video. I really anticipated your reaction to YCMN (You Calling My Name) coz I died when I first saw it too. JayB's wink at Just Right akso always kills me. The reasons you bias him are the same as mine but as I got to know them I learned how he has such a 12D personality. GOT7 is such a diverse group when it comes to singing, dancing, etc. and its amazing how many concepts they are able to pull off! Also their comeback is defnitely going to happen pretty soon according to all the members so be ready!! You shoud defnitely check out Not By The Moon, Poison, Breath, and Last Piece which are some of their more recent songs.

about jinyoung skincare he applied the face shop dr.belmeur on the variety show called "got7 real thai" about 1 year ago.and If there is no schedule, he usually goes to bed at 10 o'clock.
When they first debuted fans have given title of visual to Mark. He was so handsome(no official visual position from JYP at debut) But Jinyoung started to look more and more handsome. Even fans started to argue. And around 2016 even JYP made Jinyoung official visual and center. (even tho center position change during each promotion, but usually he is the ending fairy) But it is just hard to choose one.
Just Right just hit over 400 Million views on YT! Alot of people became Ahgases with Just Right including my daughter and I. July 2015!
