This category/game seems to have a lot of arbitrary "honor based" rules. Seems like it would make more sense if you just modded them into the game, if you've already added that one shortcut door in there. Just make the banned moves actually banned, add the favorites filter that automatically removes any legendaries with bst over 600, removes slaking, only allows you to have the 1 pokemon in your team. Make them configurable so you can make showcases like this. And this needs a lot of just QoL improvements, like auto-heal after battles, maybe with some rules where it will only auto-heal you if you're within a certain distance from a pokemon center or whatever. At least in this video the lab portion is somewhat streamlined compared to the one posted a few days ago where we don't have to watch you name your character and pokemon every time.

Seen this several times. Never tried it. Until today. My FIRST seed. Regice. With great sp att. And thunderbolt. (the rules I found allow legendaries as long as BST is below 600). Didn't even make it out of the lab 😆. I named him uno. As in one. I have a magmar now. Attempt... 5? It's destroying. I'm just getting to SS Anne and I'm level 41. I DID mess up and use a coupke potions in one go outside of battle in Mt. Moon. I forgot that you can't use them outside of battle. But I was at like 70% health. Just wanted to top off. So I don't think it was going to be a run killer. Since I'm so new to this I'm letting it slide. Faint attack, flamethrower (started with it which is why I knew it was gonna be a good run.) Vine whip. And secret power. Pretty decent move set honestly. Shedinja safe and ghosts aren't an issue. Yet. I'm ecstatic with making it this far with such an early try.

Rather than a Kaizo "race" I would give say 6 hours, and who ever gets further wins. As long as there are "prizes/stakes" for 2nd, 3rd etc, it would still be interesting if someone has a great run early.

1:24:40 I once had a trainer in a Platinum Nuzlocke who had Spiritomb, Mewtwo, Giratina and Arceus, with all except of Arceus having Wonderguard.
I barely managed to beat them.
