Super excited about this game! I was in the same boat of not being allowed to play this growing up. I heard from a twitter post that several of these scenes are actual in-game footage and not just cinematics, which means that the graphics are going to be INSANE!
Not just Downtown Miami but I'm guessing they're gonna include The Everglades as well, a big frigging map, the biggest they've ever had before maybe even combining every gta map together
A lot of the stuff in this trailer is stuff that has happened in real life in Florida, there was a guy who was caught on camera naked watering his yard, there was once a alligator at a Walmart, there was actually a woman twerking on top of a car, there was a man walking around naked being Chased by the cops, and there was a real woman caught on camera walking around with hammers in her hands.
I wonder if those scenes are from cutscenes or actually you get to play that. Also it looks like social media will be a huge thing in the game and I wonder if we will be able to record random stuff and post it on social media and get reactions

Some little context. Each GTA game is set within a fictional State/City based on a range of locations or simply a single location. This is similar to the RDR games where we have fictional States with fictional counties, towns, and cities. GTA IV was set in Liberty City within the State of Liberty, based on New York City and New York State. GTA V was set in Los Santos within the State of Southern San Andreas, Based on L.A and California. GTA VI will be set in Vice City within the State of Leonida, Based on Miami and Florida. GTA does mention real world states as well and a few times cities for example you'll hear Florida mentioned in GTA IV. So in my head canon Leonida could be like a sister State to Florida similar to New Austin in RDR with how it's very much southern Texas yet Texas is mentioned and exists. GTA also rebooted in 2008 with the release of GTA IV with the past games being know as the 3D universe. This gave Rockstar the ability to change anything relating to classic locations for example Liberty City featured in GTA lll was a VERY differant city to what was featured in GTA IV. In IV Liberty City was solely based on New York City while in GTA lll it was based on a range of cities instead of one and everything from landmarks to streets, islands and distracts were all changed and renamed between the two games, layout of the city as well and islands. Basically it's a whole differant city so it makes it impossible to connect to the older games. and so Rockstar did a reboot. Vice City was also in Florida in GTA: Vice City and even co existed alongside Miami which is not the case for GTA VI. So if you do play the classic games don't expect locations to line up 100% but everything else from brands, fictional famous GTA characters etc. These all carried over between universes. The original 3D era protagonists are also not mentioned and the events of those games seem to have never happened in the HD universe.
I've been playing through GTA Vice City on my PS4 for the last two weeks, just for shits and giggles. Anyway, on one of the talk radio stations in the game, they mention Tampa. Edit: The talk staions are my absolute favorite. And all the voice actors carry over, and it's just so awesome!

As someone who's stopped playing video games as much as I've got older this trailer has definitely reignited my desire to play video games again, I can't wait for it to come out. I'm so jealous you get to play GTA 4 and 5 for the first time. Both are amazing games, 4 is my favourite though, the storyline is like a Hollywood movie.

When you get around to a GTA playthrough, i would suggest playing GTA IV and then GTA V in that order. Both games are in the same timeframe and it will make understanding subtle easter eggs and character mentions in GTA V a lot better as the events of V take place after the events of IV.
I'm hyped for GTA VI. Tom Petty's "Love is a Long Road" being used makes me miss him. RIP and now people will discover your music and hopefully love it as well

You will love the series. I always felt RDR and GTA are very closely related. Same kind of freedoms and open worlds just set in different time periods. Though I think GTA is a bit more light hearted over all. My first brush with GTA was the very first one. In 1998 I was in my senior year at college and worked at the college radio station. Someone had downloaded the original GTA to the station's computer. I loved it. It was a top down view but still was a lot of fun. Then as 3d games started becoming a thing, I was thinking how amazing it would be if they did GTA in 3D. Not too much later GTA 3 came out in 3D and blew my mind. I have played through the entire series and every one has been a masterpiece and they have only gotten better graphically. This one looks absolutely amazing. This is the first generation of consoles that I don't have the latest but I guess I will be buying either a PS5 or XBX by 2025 since this isn't going to be on PC at release. My only beef with RockStar and the GTA series is how they abandoned creating content for the single player experience and put all their resources into GTA:O. It makes sense from their point of view because they were doing minimal work to rake in a fortune through Shark Cards. But as a person that just wants to tool around the single player world without having to deal with cheaters, and 12 year old kids it sucks that we never even got DLC for GTA V.

I'm still in the middle of watching your video, but wanted to comment that this is my favorite reaction video, so far. Your reactions are genuine and hilarious and it's neat to see this through your eyes. With that said, you should strongly consider playing through GTA V if you're interested in VI. If you're a fan of Red Dead Redemption, it's the next logical step.
I'm genuinely excited for the character Lucia brought in and to be able to play as her...iykyk. This trailer looks amazing, and I can only imagine how amazing the gameplay is going to be honestly.
The world building in GTA games is astounding (at least from 3 upwards)! You could literally spend hours just walking around and listening and interacting (sometimes shoving or punching) the NPCs. The detail is insane and that is what they are known for. GTA VI could literally make some people in real life disappear since they will spend every living second living a virtual life in the game world.
Love your reaction, when a 90 second trailer can create hour long discussion across the world and live rent free in your head you know it’s cultural impact transcend all forms of media.
Thank you very much for this reaction and kinda-introduction to the Grand Theft Auto series!😁 2025 might not seem that far away (and some say, it should be out rather early in the year), but as for someone who was already awaiting GTA 5 as it came out in 2013, waiting 10 years for this moment did feel like an eternity :D As for starters, I'd highly recommend watching the other GTA games' trailers (there are quite a few) - definitely GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, IV with Episodes from Liberty City and V. If you wish, add GTA 1&2 as well as Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories to the list too :) (It's up to you if you do it for yourself or upload other reaction videos as well :) In terms of wildlife: most games didn't have any, except for some 2D pixel-birds and maybe fishes. GTA V was the first game with actual wildlife and some pets, without too many options for interactions. (This is not much of a spoiler imo, that's why I dared to tell it :D ) Have fun and I'm looking forward to your GTA gameplays! :)
Would love to see you play GTA V, I think you’d really enjoy it. I’m from Scotland but I went to Florida when I was a kid, we had a villa with a pool that had a fence around it. On the other side of the fence was a lake with alligators in it. I’d literally be chilling in the pool watching alligators swim around metres away from me on the other side of the fence 😂 totally normal for people in Florida but it blew my little Scottish brain.
Not really my kind of thing. I don't mind if you're able to choose a character and have a different experience of the same story. Similar to Claire and Leon in Resident Evil 2. Did not care for the switching in GTA V. I rather pick a character and play it throughout the game.
I live in Florida, in the Tampa Bay area and I've seen most of what is in the trailer. The beach scene at the start is basically St.Pete Beach in the summer. I've seen a convenience store closed due to a gator being in the bathroom too. I was mad I couldn't get a protein shake after my run. They are cheapest there. I've seen the twerking on top of a car. I've seen bike races close down streets and Florida men acting crazy during hurricanes and I saw the Miami Joker in the news. Shout-out BIGXTHEPLUG (fat black guy at the end).
I started with 4 and has stayed my favorite Niko is the most down to earth character and has one of the saddest stories but still manages to keep going
GTA VI will easily be the biggest game launch of all time. This game is likely the most wanted game of all time, next to Half Life 3. I'm so ready for this game in 2025. It's going to be epic!

if you decide to go back and play the older games, GTA Vice City is a good choice, it's the same location from GTA 6, except it's in the 80s, definitely a great time, and GTA 4 is definitely a great pick as well, super cool game with perfect new york vibes

I really hope you get to play GTA IV and V, you’ll love them! They’re both incredible, but also very different. GTA IV is a lot darker in tone and has a much more serious story, but one of - if not the best - story in the entire series. GTA V has a cool balance between serious and comedy, and awesome characters. You’ll have a blast with both games I’m positive.

A little GTA education for you. It is an anthology series. Other than a few references and easter eggs, there is very little connection between the games. The first 2 games were very simple and straight forward. The series really hit its stride with GTA3. It was the first truly open world sandbox title in the series. It was set in Liberty City, an amalgamation of New York and Chicago. GTA: Vice City came next, set in the 80s, Vice City was a fictional version of Miami. GTA: San Andreas remains the biggest game in the series. Set in the 90s, San Andreas was a fictional state featuring 3 cities. Los Santos (Los Angeles), San Fiero (San Francisco) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas). GTA4 returned to Liberty City. GTA5 featured Los Santos and the surrounding countryside. It also features 3 playable characters.
Yeah, the only games that really have a major crossover are the expansions to GTA4, each being a standalone game that told three different sides of the story, all overlapping with each other.

IV and V pretty much stand on their own, and playing V first you probably only miss a handful of Easter eggs, references and cameos. I'd still do IV first just for the story but I'm watching both either way. Also completely relatable smuggling the first one in to play under the parents' noses. And "Sorry Mom!" 😂
I urge you to go and play GTA Vice City. You will love the main character Tommy Vercetti and his voice actor, Ray Liotta. He passed away recently in 2022 before he could get a chance to see this master piece come back to the city he thrived in. GTA Vice City takes lots of inspiration from movies like "The Godfather" and "Scarface" to name a few. Its perhaps the best GTAs of old.
I was 10 when Vice City released and was allowed to buy it and play it. Thanks dad for sticking up for me 😂. Yeah that makes no sense you could play COD but not GTA. Still have it on PS2 to this day. Vice City is what got me hooked and I’m very excited to be going back there in modern day Florida with all of the crazy shit that goes on there

For context, we've been waiting for news on this game ever since the last one came out way back in 2013. Grand Theft Auto is basically a hyper exaggerated satire of the American lifestyle. Over the top characters in wacky antics doing criminal activities in a parody of how real life actually is. Generally speaking the story tends to be a rags-to-riches tale with our characters starting off at their lowest point and us building them back up. In GTA the cities and states have alternate names. California is San Andreas, Los Angeles is Los Santos, New York City is Liberty City. This game is set in Miami, Florida which will be Vice City, Leonida. As someone from Florida (Orlando area) this 100% captures the Florida Man lifestyle we have here. GTA 5 is pretty similar, a parody of life in LA the way this is Miami. As someone who has been playing these games since 2001, I highly recommend giving them a go. You have at least a year and a half until 6 drops, plenty of time to do a playthrough of the other games. My recommendation is start with 4. The series is divided into different universes, with GTA4 starting the "HD Universe" while the ones before were the "3D Universe" games. So the story has been rebooted with 4, through 5 and going into 6 now. If nothing else, at the very least give GTA5 a play through to get your feet wet on how the GTA gameplay is like.

As a longtime fan, it's always fun watching the lightbulb turn on for a newcomer. The game captured my imagination in the 90s, and it's still inspiring today.
Please dont take this the wrong way, but you have a very sweet personality and you seem like a really genuine and caring person. It kind of aligns with what you said about your parents not allowing you to play GTA when you were younger lol. I can tell they put in effort to raise you to be a good person. Anyways, I've watched a lot of GTA 6 trailer reaction videos. Its easy to tell which people genuinely care about GTA and are excited, which people pretend to care, and then some people act flat out bored.. Which I'm like "how can you not be hyped...". People dont understand and appreciate the technical innovation and the amount of hard work that goes into this stuff, and how unique it is for gaming. You had a really good reaction to this with genuine enthusiasm. My mind was so blown watching it for my first time. It took me like 6min to get through the trailer because I kept analyzing every scene.

I would recommend trying to play both GTA IV and GTA V if you can because both are really fun and interesting (and chaotic) games. They take place only a few years apart and there are numerous Easter Eggs from GTA IV in GTA V. Plus personally I think the story and characters of GTA IV were better than GTA V’s and I would love to see your reactions to all of the chaos in both games. 😂 In addition, it might be worth trying to play GTA Vice City if you can get it. It takes place way before the events of GTA VI (Back in the 80’s) but it’s set in the same city and who knows how many references there could be?

I need to play GTA IV. I have only played GTA V so I missed some references and Easter eggs, but I am hyped for GTA VI

I was 10 when 5 released I'll be 22 when 6 drops😭😭 growing up playing the games seeing this trailer hits different 🤧. You should definitely play 4,5, Vice City, San Andreas, and 3
You will love the series. I always felt RDR and GTA are very closely related. Same kind of freedoms and open worlds just set in different time periods. Though I think GTA is a bit more light hearted over all.
My first brush with GTA was the very first one. In 1998 I was in my senior year at college and worked at the college radio station. Someone had downloaded the original GTA to the station's computer. I loved it. It was a top down view but still was a lot of fun. Then as 3d games started becoming a thing, I was thinking how amazing it would be if they did GTA in 3D. Not too much later GTA 3 came out in 3D and blew my mind. I have played through the entire series and every one has been a masterpiece and they have only gotten better graphically. This one looks absolutely amazing. This is the first generation of consoles that I don't have the latest but I guess I will be buying either a PS5 or XBX by 2025 since this isn't going to be on PC at release.
My only beef with RockStar and the GTA series is how they abandoned creating content for the single player experience and put all their resources into GTA:O. It makes sense from their point of view because they were doing minimal work to rake in a fortune through Shark Cards. But as a person that just wants to tool around the single player world without having to deal with cheaters, and 12 year old kids it sucks that we never even got DLC for GTA V.

I'm still in the middle of watching your video, but wanted to comment that this is my favorite reaction video, so far. Your reactions are genuine and hilarious and it's neat to see this through your eyes. With that said, you should strongly consider playing through GTA V if you're interested in VI. If you're a fan of Red Dead Redemption, it's the next logical step.
I'm genuinely excited for the character Lucia brought in and to be able to play as her...iykyk. This trailer looks amazing, and I can only imagine how amazing the gameplay is going to be honestly.
The world building in GTA games is astounding (at least from 3 upwards)! You could literally spend hours just walking around and listening and interacting (sometimes shoving or punching) the NPCs. The detail is insane and that is what they are known for. GTA VI could literally make some people in real life disappear since they will spend every living second living a virtual life in the game world.
Fun fact the GTA V story takes place in San Andreas and GTA 6 takes place in vice city( which is an earlier gta title/location as well)

2025 might not seem that far away (and some say, it should be out rather early in the year), but as for someone who was already awaiting GTA 5 as it came out in 2013, waiting 10 years for this moment did feel like an eternity :D
As for starters, I'd highly recommend watching the other GTA games' trailers (there are quite a few) - definitely GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas, IV with Episodes from Liberty City and V. If you wish, add GTA 1&2 as well as Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories to the list too :) (It's up to you if you do it for yourself or upload other reaction videos as well :)
In terms of wildlife: most games didn't have any, except for some 2D pixel-birds and maybe fishes. GTA V was the first game with actual wildlife and some pets, without too many options for interactions. (This is not much of a spoiler imo, that's why I dared to tell it :D )

I’m from Scotland but I went to Florida when I was a kid, we had a villa with a pool that had a fence around it. On the other side of the fence was a lake with alligators in it. I’d literally be chilling in the pool watching alligators swim around metres away from me on the other side of the fence 😂 totally normal for people in Florida but it blew my little Scottish brain.

Not really my kind of thing. I don't mind if you're able to choose a character and have a different experience of the same story. Similar to Claire and Leon in Resident Evil 2. Did not care for the switching in GTA V. I rather pick a character and play it throughout the game.

I live in Florida, in the Tampa Bay area and I've seen most of what is in the trailer. The beach scene at the start is basically St.Pete Beach in the summer. I've seen a convenience store closed due to a gator being in the bathroom too. I was mad I couldn't get a protein shake after my run. They are cheapest there. I've seen the twerking on top of a car. I've seen bike races close down streets and Florida men acting crazy during hurricanes and I saw the Miami Joker in the news. Shout-out BIGXTHEPLUG (fat black guy at the end).
I started with 4 and has stayed my favorite Niko is the most down to earth character and has one of the saddest stories but still manages to keep going

if you decide to go back and play the older games, GTA Vice City is a good choice, it's the same location from GTA 6, except it's in the 80s, definitely a great time, and GTA 4 is definitely a great pick as well, super cool game with perfect new york vibes

I really hope you get to play GTA IV and V, you’ll love them! They’re both incredible, but also very different. GTA IV is a lot darker in tone and has a much more serious story, but one of - if not the best - story in the entire series. GTA V has a cool balance between serious and comedy, and awesome characters. You’ll have a blast with both games I’m positive.

Better start a GTA 5 series. Honest to god I has just the right amount of dark comedy I think you’ll love it.
A little GTA education for you. It is an anthology series. Other than a few references and easter eggs, there is very little connection between the games.
The first 2 games were very simple and straight forward. The series really hit its stride with GTA3. It was the first truly open world sandbox title in the series. It was set in Liberty City, an amalgamation of New York and Chicago.
GTA: Vice City came next, set in the 80s, Vice City was a fictional version of Miami.
GTA: San Andreas remains the biggest game in the series. Set in the 90s, San Andreas was a fictional state featuring 3 cities. Los Santos (Los Angeles), San Fiero (San Francisco) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas).
GTA4 returned to Liberty City.
GTA5 featured Los Santos and the surrounding countryside. It also features 3 playable characters.
Yeah, the only games that really have a major crossover are the expansions to GTA4, each being a standalone game that told three different sides of the story, all overlapping with each other.

The lady with the 2 hammers is by far the most realistic shot in that trailer. Hoping that’s what the finished product will look like, or even better.

@@gun4funofficial937 that was my second fav shot. It definitely wasn’t consistent to me. Some shots looked quite a bit better than others. I guess you can expect that from an unfinished product though.

IV and V pretty much stand on their own, and playing V first you probably only miss a handful of Easter eggs, references and cameos. I'd still do IV first just for the story but I'm watching both either way.

I urge you to go and play GTA Vice City. You will love the main character Tommy Vercetti and his voice actor, Ray Liotta. He passed away recently in 2022 before he could get a chance to see this master piece come back to the city he thrived in. GTA Vice City takes lots of inspiration from movies like "The Godfather" and "Scarface" to name a few. Its perhaps the best GTAs of old.

I was 10 when Vice City released and was allowed to buy it and play it. Thanks dad for sticking up for me 😂. Yeah that makes no sense you could play COD but not GTA. Still have it on PS2 to this day. Vice City is what got me hooked and I’m very excited to be going back there in modern day Florida with all of the crazy shit that goes on there

For context, we've been waiting for news on this game ever since the last one came out way back in 2013. Grand Theft Auto is basically a hyper exaggerated satire of the American lifestyle. Over the top characters in wacky antics doing criminal activities in a parody of how real life actually is. Generally speaking the story tends to be a rags-to-riches tale with our characters starting off at their lowest point and us building them back up.
In GTA the cities and states have alternate names. California is San Andreas, Los Angeles is Los Santos, New York City is Liberty City. This game is set in Miami, Florida which will be Vice City, Leonida. As someone from Florida (Orlando area) this 100% captures the Florida Man lifestyle we have here.
GTA 5 is pretty similar, a parody of life in LA the way this is Miami. As someone who has been playing these games since 2001, I highly recommend giving them a go. You have at least a year and a half until 6 drops, plenty of time to do a playthrough of the other games. My recommendation is start with 4. The series is divided into different universes, with GTA4 starting the "HD Universe" while the ones before were the "3D Universe" games. So the story has been rebooted with 4, through 5 and going into 6 now. If nothing else, at the very least give GTA5 a play through to get your feet wet on how the GTA gameplay is like.

Please dont take this the wrong way, but you have a very sweet personality and you seem like a really genuine and caring person. It kind of aligns with what you said about your parents not allowing you to play GTA when you were younger lol. I can tell they put in effort to raise you to be a good person. Anyways, I've watched a lot of GTA 6 trailer reaction videos. Its easy to tell which people genuinely care about GTA and are excited, which people pretend to care, and then some people act flat out bored.. Which I'm like "how can you not be hyped...". People dont understand and appreciate the technical innovation and the amount of hard work that goes into this stuff, and how unique it is for gaming. You had a really good reaction to this with genuine enthusiasm. My mind was so blown watching it for my first time. It took me like 6min to get through the trailer because I kept analyzing every scene.

I would recommend trying to play both GTA IV and GTA V if you can because both are really fun and interesting (and chaotic) games. They take place only a few years apart and there are numerous Easter Eggs from GTA IV in GTA V.
Plus personally I think the story and characters of GTA IV were better than GTA V’s and I would love to see your reactions to all of the chaos in both games. 😂
In addition, it might be worth trying to play GTA Vice City if you can get it. It takes place way before the events of GTA VI (Back in the 80’s) but it’s set in the same city and who knows how many references there could be?

Gta Vice city was an 80s Miami themed game. That game is one of the most popular games of all time. This time we are going back to Vice City but in current times. I advise you to at least watch videos on Vice City if you arent gna play it bc its better than 4 and 5.
