Batman: Arkham Knight was announced 10 years ago next week. This is perfect timing
Damn it’s already been 10 years?? Dude time flies
@@AkaiAkuma_that’s what I’m thinking like tffff
That's crazy 😁
@@anthonydelossantos7576 Dude just imagine if it got a ps5 remaster
How tf has it been 10 years
3:34 You actually can find this TYGER captain's body in the Arkham City game, during Protocol 10, his lifeless body is inside one of the room in the prisoner transfer lobby(The line-up room where you started the game as Bruce Wayne), also serve as one of the riddles.
I think she actually did, funnily enough
@@frenchynoobshe did lol
I was going to comment this LOL
This was unexpected!
Also Miranda, *Knight has 2 endings.* To see the full ending you have to complete all side missions.
Including Riddler trophies 💀
Ya to this day it still kind of bugs me that they did that. The ending is good but feels a little underwhelming in some ways if you don't do all the side stuff, which includes the Riddler of course...
It only has one ending. It’s just extended
@@Joshcoshbagosh i love it, the endong doesnt make sense without doing the side quests and it rightfully punishes the people who dont do side stuff. Also the main endong doesnt end on a cliffhanger so you can skip the true endong if you want to
@@jakubpuchalski2583 I mean it's mainly the Riddler stuff. I never bothered to do all that that crap in the previous games, but I finally caved for Arkham Knight just to get the most satisfying ending.
1:51 I first found about Arkham Asylum through a teaser trailer on the DVD of The Dark Knight.
I need to see this trailer
Batman is far more than just a fictional character. He can be many things. He can be an ideology, He's can be a philosophy, He can be an inspiration and he can be an example. And it's because of these many things is why we love him so much. HE. IS. BATMAN!
Well said 🗣️🗣️🗣️
Batman Arkham Origins trailer is still my favorite Arkham trailer because the fight between Batman and Deathstroke looks so awesome and the cinematics in this trailer looks like it's from an actual movie it's so good 🤘🔥, also cool fact the action and cinematics that was done in the Batman Arkham Origins trailer of Batman fighting Deathstroke was done by the director of the first Deadpool movie Tim Miller's production company Blur Studio
Yup. Corridor Digital even did a trailer breakdown with the stuntman who did the mocap for Batman in that fight, part of their Stuntman Reacts series of videos.
3:08 “Poor little Bat. You’re in my world now!”
My favorite line from Scarecrow across all of the games. He was GOATed in Arkham Asylum.
I'm so happy you remembered to watch the Origins trailer. Yeah Knight from a technical standpoint completely overshadows Origins but it will always be my favorite Arkham game, for reasons I can't get into due to spoilers for Knight.
This is my first time seeing these trailers as well. They’re so cool! And it’s always nice to watch along with Miranda
The hype for these games were SO REAL. Really, every trailer(even the gameplay ones) was incredibly react-able. Which made it even more amazing when the games would deliver.
This is a very pleasant surprise, and it's so enjoyable to watch the trailers along with you for the first time. It's amazing how good they all look and makes me think about how much time and effort must have gone into making them. Absolutely awesome! 🦇🦇🦇🦇
Thank you for this extra upload, Miranda! 😊
Loved the Video Miranda! In the video you mentioned movies and I have a suggestion for you, Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy is thought of by most Batman fans to be the best Batman movies ever. Also for animated Batman movies Under the Red Hood, Mask of the Phantasm, and The Long Halloween Part 1 and 2 are really good too! 🦇
She needs to watch Batman The Animated Series and the rest of the DCAU as well.
These games defined our generation’s childhood. It’s by far the greatest superhero video gaming series ever made. I can’t wait to see you play Arkham Knight because it is the best of the series and a wonderful sendoff for Kevin Conroy. P.S. download the DLC for Knight. It’s the best to come!
oh yeah, i remember playing arkham asylum as a kid and getting PTSD :D, that game was definetely not meant for minors.
However its still my favourite trilogy in gaming
@chandllerburse737 hahah good one :D
@chandllerburse737 😂
There's a short Arkham vr game called... Arkham VR.
It's about 50 minutes to an hour long, the gameplay is not revolutionary since it's mainly about the story and being Batman. There is no gliding or fighting, but if you don't feel like playing a VR game, then you could react to it, or not, it's your choice.
I would recommend her checking it out either after _Knight_ or after certain... events in _Knight._
The vibe is so eerie though. I play it myself many times, it’s so unsettling. My favorite part was analyzing THAT fight scene in detective mode. The choreography was incredible
I got excited when I the notification on your channel, but once I saw the video wasn’t Arkham Knight just now, I was like “damn not even Joker and Harley would pull a prank or fake out this bad” lol
They did make an animated film that was connected to the arkham verse called batman assault on arkham where rocksteady introduced the suicide squad, but they completely retcon the film with a recent game
Miranda this is very important, you MUST complete Arkham Knight to 100% to have the true ending. I know it will take time, do it off screen if you want, but you need to do it. Please
120% not 100%
Don't spoil her...hahahaha
just watch on youtube...
The trailers are perfection. They really killed it 😁
Never seen any of the trailers but jumped straight into these games. One of the best games I’ve ever played.
Oooo.....That crate that says Queen Industries is a reference to the company owned by Oliver Queen......aka....the Green Arrow! Glad you showed that trailer for Origins.
HEY MIRANDA!
You ought to try Helldivers 2 sometime soon.
It's worth the hype.
And you can basically be a Mandalorian in it.
You'd love it.
The only trailers I can remember are the ones from Arkham Knight. There was so much hype for it and it delivered!
And please watch the Nolan Batman trilogy. You’ll love them even more than before since you have more knowledge of the characters and the story!
Hopefully this channel turns into a full on Batman reaction channel. The animated series, the justice league series, Batman burton, Batman Nolan, DCEU, DCAU. DO IT ALL 😊
I think I was roughly thirteen, maybe 12 when Asylum came out and year, it definitely got me. The atmosphere was pretty terrifying and the Scarecrow sections really unnerved me.
I think every Batman Arkham game was labeled and won GOTY when they came out. But when anyone tries to make a superhero game it really never works out and I think that's why doing a Batman game like the Arkham games work so well and surprise so many gamers and comic book fans that it can be done
I really enjoyed seeing the Batman games trailers and your reactions
to them keep enjoying all the Batman games and thanks Miranda.🦇🐶🦇
Even though this entire commentary made me lose a few brain cells, it’s always a pleasure to see someone react these trailers for the first time. Masterpieces
I want to give u my thanks for being a great content creator you sometimes help me get through some dark moods and i love tour playthroughs and how emotional and expressive they r and how tou get behind the lore and want to know it all to me u r one of the best gaming channels out there keep it up lots of love from canada ontario
Thank you so much!!! You happy no idea how happy it made me to read this ❤❤
I will NEVER forget seeing that Arkham City trailer for the first time. As great as Asylum was, you always had this feeling that it was "Batman in a box" so to speak; a game that locked him into a confined space in order to facilitate a workable gameplay structure. The trailer for City promised a game that let him out of that box, and would really flex what an open world Batman story could be.
Because Batman had not been well represented in games in the years prior to this Arkham Asylum's release, I wasn't paying that much attention when they announced it. But the trailer and the reveal that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill were reprising their roles as Batman and The Joker from the Animated Series got me so hyped.
All the CG trailers were made by Blur Studio, who are famous for their CG Work and game trailers. They're famous for the Star Wars The Old Republic trailers, this, the Dante's Inferno game cutscenes, Producing Love, Death and Robots, and their creative director, Tim Miller, who made a rough Deadpool animatic that lead him to make the movie with Ryan Reynolds, direct Terminator Dark Fate, and produce the Sonic movies.
You're lucky you have all three games because the amount of time I had to wait for Arkham City back in 2011... and then the theories that everyone had for Arkham Knight. It was just a great time. And yes it was scary for me as a 11 year old to play Arkham Asylum but I got through it.
If you're interested in getting into Batman, I really recommend watching Batman The Animated Series which was the start of Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as Joker and his considered to be the greatest adaptation of Batman ever outside the comics. It also has the best Batman film of all time which is Batman Mask of the Phantasm. It's part of their DCAU (DC Animated Universe) which is comprised of Batman: The Animated Series, Batman: Mask of The Phantasm(movie), Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero (movie), Superman: The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures, Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman (movie), Superman: Brainiac Attacks (movie), Batman Beyond, Batman Beyond Return of The Joker (movie), Static Shock, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. Just please if you're going to watch him please look up the production order for the shows because the one on the streaming service is wrong.
I still prefer the "Ain't No Place for a Hero" trailer for Arkham City, but since it has licensed music it would've been a copyright issue for you anyway potentially. This would actually be a really fun series of videos or post game/series completion thing for you to do, Miranda! I love trailers for games and even if the final game doesn't live up to expectations or if its just to relive the hype, its always fun watching trailers and feeling that excitement
It's actually crazy how I haven't seen a single trailer for the Arkham games and I played all of them at least 10 times. Showed how much faith I had in game devs back then...
Cant wait for your playthrough of Arkham Knight!
I dont know if you still do game requests, but if you do, i recommend Batman: The Telltale Series(there are two seasons)
and the Injustice games(they are like Mortal Kombat, just with less gore).
im excited to see your playthrough of batman arkham knight, reason im holding it off right now is so that all the videos are up so i can binge watch them while playing along, already watched the other three and played along with those ones
One thing that I loved about this series is that even on my language, they used the voice actors from the 90s cartoon
The Arkham Knight E3 trailer was the best for me. The live audience reaction was our excitement! I recommend watching that trailer!
This takes me back to the golden years of video games
I wish the Batman movies had incredible fight scenes like these trailers
Man Rock steady did this trailers in such a serious fun cool way it's so obvious they are advertising a Batman game
Arkham Asylum was incredibly groundbreaking for its time. It introduced an innovative and trend setting combat system and showcased what was possible if developers took the source material seriously. And it came out of nowhere from a studio no one had ever heard of before but today Rocksteady is a name synonymous with innovation and brilliant storytelling.
Every girl who’s ever played Arkham Knight has said the same thing…”I suck at driving.” 😆
Man, I wish she saw the “Still With Me” teaser, so short but damn effective
There was a lot of criticism about the ARKHAM KNIGHT Batmobile having so many guns on it. However, I think the story builds a good reason for that.
I love it. It was another form of combat and this game has my favorite combat ever so I'll always appreciate it
I remember playing the Arkham Origins trailer on repeat when it came out. I was so excited I beat the game in 1 sitting on release day
The Assassin’s Creed trailer are awesome as well! Love your videos!!
Man some of you guys don’t even understand the waiting between Arkham city and Arkham knight. The years that it took for people to dive into every corner of city to find the Easter eggs revealing Arkham knight and scarecrows return, the rumours, when we had all originally thought the gaming series was over at the end of the joker… finding that one boat off the coast and the message scarecrow had left, people deciphering the cryptic message and discovering that scarecrow was still alive… it was all so surreal ..
If you want trailers that are movies, watch the Star Wars The Old Republic trailers. Plenty of content for the channel
Fun fact: you can actually find the guard seen in the hugo strange trailer in the game (arkham city).
Fun fact #2: the events shown in the BAO trailer actually happen a night before the events of BAO.
Look how formidable Arkham Batman is here and they did him soooo DIRTYYY in SSKTJL
2:49 The Scarecrow parts were.
They were also my favorite moments in the game.
"Batman is terrifying!" When he's done right, yes.
If you have ever watched, or ever do watch the movie "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" there's fight scene that completely nails Batman's fighting style/take downs. For the fans, it's simply known as the warehouse scene ;)
I will never forget Arkham Series. My favorite was Origins and still playing the series this day. It never ages. Sad how rocksteady end up though.
I really appreciate what they DIDN"T spoil for AK. You know somebody suggested putting it in the trailer. If you've played it, you know what I mean.
Good god these trailers look better than most trailers you see today.
That awkward moment when you hear: "Ok I need to watch the Batman movies. I need more of this" and wanna say: "Oh believe me there's none of this" and then remember...
the warehouse scene
Arkham Origins' director was Tim Miller, he went on to direct the Deadpool movie.
The minute he said Frank check the breaker, you knew Frank wasn't coming back.
If any you should also check out the gameplay demo that was shown during Sony’s E3 2014 press conference! It still gives me goosebumps whenever I go back to watch it!
Batman Arkham Knight was originally set to realease on October 14th, 2014, but Rocksteady had to push the date back because the game wasn't ready due to bugs & glitches. So they had to work on it more to polish it, so it would be a smooth and flawless experience. Having to wait almost 8 months was absolute torture for me, but it worked to my advantage because I still had an analog TV at the time before it released and I didn't have a PS4 yet either. So I had to wait till I got the proper TV and a PS4 just months before its official release! I wasn't going to miss this game for the world lol. "Batman Arkham Knight" finally released worldwide on June 23rd, 2015.
😁👍
He is Vengeance, he is the Night, he …… IS THE BATMAN!!!! Rest in peace Kevin Conroy❤
There was a lot of trailer for City you should have watched, love the Riddler one.
I downloaded the pc demo of AA when it came out and expected it to be trash. I was completely blown away. As a lifelong Batman fan I could not believe just how good it was. The game cannot be understated. It amde you FEEL like The Batman.
If you thought it was hard waiting a few years, imagine playing Asylum, City, and Origins, but not having the right console for Knight, waiting until it was ported to Switch, then having it delayed from June to December 1, then having to wait until Christmas, then having to wait until February because your family is all sick and you can’t open presents without the family.
I am so excited to see you play through Knight! I just wanted to let you know that the driving in that game can take a bit to get used to. If you get the driving down, it will make the game much easier, but don't feel too bad if it takes a bit to get used to. Hopefully the comments section will be kind. Lol
some of the best games I've ever played
indeed
10:28 look at that scar Catwoman gave him in Arkham City Court .. the detail
I absolutely love the expressions on Miranda's face as she's watching the trailers. Please react to the Batman movies on your other channel if you have time. Hope everyone has an amazing day.
The amount of time i would watch these trailers when they were released was actually unhealthy. I loved them so much.
Man, that Arkham City Cinematic trailer looks better than most movies DC and Marvel have made. "You knew! You knew we couldn't take him down. You knew we were no match for him!" That never fails to give me goosebumps.
6:59 Well, apparently Rocksteady thought the same about Harley getting revenge and made the Suicide Squad game
Ben Affleck’s Batman movie which he would’ve stared and directed would have been based on the Origins trailer as he wanted to replicate the same fighting style with death stroke as the villain but after dropping out as director Matt Reeves came in to direct but didn’t want it to be part of the DCEU and soon after Ben dropped out and that’s how we got The Batman🦇
Wow ,I didn't know that Ben affleck wanted to replicate the same fight as the trailer .That would've been an awesome movie
Oh man that took me back, thanks for the nostalgia trip. Also if you haven’t already you should watch the Assassins Creed trailers, they’re equally epic
You should check this movie out, it’s called “Batman: Assault on Arkham” at one time the movie was considered canon in the Arkham universe and was set before the events of asylum. Until the new suicide squad games and comics took it out of continuity, but it’s worth watching.
Honestly we didn't expect much out Arkham Asylum. Before it the comic book game genre was considered cursed. Asylum took us all by surprise.
I hope we get to see you collect ALL the Riddler trophies in Arkham Knight. There are 2 different endings. The official ending, to the whole Arkham trilogy, requires 100% completion including Riddler trophies. There is also some DLC that would be worth getting before starting the game. It is integrated into the main story seamlessly if you already have it. Makes for a lot more fun playing them during the main story as they unlock.
The Arkham Origins CGI trailer is phenomenal to this day. Makes me want a full Batman Vs Deathstroke film. And a remaster of origins 😢
I been really enjoying your playthroughs of the Arkham Games Miranda🙂
"Its like a movie" These used to be called "cinematic trailers" back in the day, and used to be a lot more common than now. Blur Studios, who made a lot of these for studios and companies to market their games, was founded by the guy who would go on to direct Deadpool.
When Arkham Asylum came out, we had no idea what to expect because non-movie licensed superhero games were such a rare thing and were rarely ever any good. So Rocksteady really underpromised and over-delivered in a HUGE way.
And you want to talk about having to wait for things? When these games came out, I didn't have any of the consoles for them yet because my parents only bought me Nintendo consoles. So I had to wait even LONGER for Arkham City and Arkham Origins to come out on the Wii U before I could play them. So Arkham City ended up being the first-ever game I looked up Let's Plays of so I could see how it was.
Thank god I was in college when Arkham Knight came out, and I bought the PS4 bundle that came with the game with my own money. SO worth it.
Miranda, in the comics Hugo Strange figures out that Bruce Wayne is Batman.
Awesome video!
I love when you upload batman related stuff 👍👍 :)
Oh, man... Arkham Knight's graphics need to be seen in-game to be believed. They were made like early PS4 era but they put a lot of PS5 games to shame, I am genuinely astounded by them to this day, Gotham has never looked so amazing.
You should react to the "Star Wars Old Republic" trailers. you will love them.
The Arkham Knight trailer is honestly so well written that it alone trumps Suicide squad. Where the Words of Thomas Wayne say that Bruce shouldn't waste his money on cars, clothes and a destructive life and help the city of Gotham. The duality of the words just feels so right and sums up the character of Batman perfectly
Nothing will match the Arkham City trailer for me. Even today it’s still my favorite trailer ever, the hype, the music, the cinematics, everything was perfection.
That batman arkham knight trailer is what made me get a ps4 I was only 12 at the time but i sold my whole collection of action figures and legos my parents pitched in just to afford one then i put my preorder in for the game but man I just couldn't wait the hype was real
0:55 Imagine what Half-Life fans feel.
Other franchises die because the companies go out of business, or they’re bought by a megacorp which directs them to work on something else. Or the franchise isn’t profitable, reputable, or had a fitting ending that the creators don’t want to ruin with an unnecessary sequel.
Valve is the wealthiest video game company and completely independent due to Steam. And Half-Life has always been profitable, acclaimed, and ended on a cliffhanger.
“Was this game scary for you guys at the time?”
In Arkham Asylum, yeah. Dying too many times getting used to the gameplay and the game over screens got to me.
There's also a tv spot trailer for arkham origins as well!
Arkham City has about ten trailers, each one from each villain, all here on TH-cam.
Arkham games and old assassins creed games used to be the only games that made dope trailers like that
You missed the best trailer for Arkham City - "No Place For A Hero"
THE best game trailers in the business: arkham city trailer, arkham origins trailer and arkham knight trailer
Since you're diving into Batman and comic books, you should check out Frank Miller. His collected TPB The Dark Knight Returns is widely regarded to be the best Batman story and possibly the greatest graphic novel of all time. His Sin City comics are also award-winning and have spawned two movies (at least the first one is worthy of a video on Mirandalorian Reacts).
It was always Superman and then Batman for me... until these games came out. I never knew what a beast he was. Now its Batman over Superman and I'm not changing.
I doubt she's playing Suicide Squad after Arkham Knight.
The arkham city trailer is both introducing us to hugo strange and a hidden Easter egg in the game when you find the dead guard
Noooooo she didn't watch THAT one arkham origins tv spot
