Keeley pedals sound so pristine. I like how Brett gives you the sound of a pedal without backing tracks. Sometimes it just needs to be heard like that.
My Friend, I cant tell you how much I appreciate your videos. You do a great job really dialing in your pedals in your demos and really show what they can do in a real usuable way. I can tell you really take the time working with the "device" before hand and it really shows. thanks, keep it up!
Lovely stuff ! This pedal has just replaced a Mobius which in turn replaced a Modfactor. The fact that you can use 2 effects at a time is just so useful (Take note Strymon/Eventide) and don't forget the clever integration of an expression pedal. The interface is brilliantly simple (intuitive in today's language..) No fannying about with USB and a computer, just turn the dials and press the footswitch.....The perfect pedal for someone like me who just needs modulation from time to time, The sounds are absolutely stellar - I'll not be needing another Mod pedal ever..Robert Keeley is just untouchable at the moment. Keep up the good work !
Hey Robert, great pedal but I've noticed a problem. When you have both banks on, the levels seem to compound and it gets too loud. You can balance them separately but when both on it's no longer in balance. Do they all do this or have I got a duff one? :(
question: if you have an expression pedal connected to the unit and you have both MOD 1 and MOD 2 turned on; which MOD (Morph?) is controlled by the expression pedal?
Really great tones! You should get a cut of the sales 😂 I’ll need to check the specs, but guessing no way to sync rate via MIDI or anything. Still a great unit.
I just received the Super Mod Workstation today - and was able to test it a bit. I think that is great LITTLE pedal (it really is tiny) - so if you want to add many modulation options + some very good delays without losing too much pedal board space then it is your ticket. Tweakability is not there but most effect function reasonably well around noon. Rotary was OK on it's own but when combined with ADT (a very well done) it is great for B3 type of comping. I also preferred chorus when combined with ADT. Combos that Brett explores - say delay + phaser are great but somewhat overwhelming - I prefer effects as a subtle decoration - I run Super Mod in a parallel loop using Xotic X-Blender - the sound is awesome and you can absolutely get EXACT tone you want. Clean tone (running everything into Analogman Bi-comprossor) is the best I ever had.
Thanks for this demo. Can you comment on sonic quality? I’m working through new options for verb and modulation ... the offerings on this seem too good to be sonically true, st the price point. How do the mod effects compare w something like the Mobius?
If I recall, this pedal had left and right outputs that were the same - not 'stereo' as in a stereo field. I could be wrong, but this is probably why I demoed the pedal in mono. Robert Keeley will correct me if I'm mistaken here.

my fav combo is a very subtle chorus and phaser mixed with overdrive...if only this workstation had an overdrive bank!
