Swirling, twisting, watery, and spacey effects are often the perfect compliment to bold guitar sounds. Many of the sounds in the Mod Workstation have an increased range in order to work well with tap tempo. Several of the sounds are new, ones that we have perfected over the last year. Add the new Delay Workstation to the Mod Workstation and you have a very lean and powerful pedal board!
Mike, I really love how you interpret songs. Tremendous variety and never ever stale. You squeeze every ounce out of all that fantastic Keeley gear.
Nothing against the other better vid/demo guys like Thorn, Kingman, or Andy but Mike Hermans is the only one that runs the pedal through ranges of what I might do and his sense of of improv and mastery of how to use effects w feel, it is the deal for me. I was going to go for the Tone WorkStation but needing a better phaser and what not I think this is the puppy to bring home.Thanks again Mike, another jewel demo that sounds great and is useful.
This has to be one of the best pedals out there - so many useable sounds. Cant wait to record with this tool. Mikes playing is off the scale. I am going to try and learn all these parts just cause they sound so good through this pedal.
I have two Keeley modded pedals - the Rat and the OD1 and and they have been used on many of my recordings.
Robert Keeley and his team continue to inspire recording and writing let alone performance with these incredible sounds that used to be unreachable - the Leslie speaker alone is worth the price and the oxblood and 1962 stacked together ...... holy moly...!

Mike really loves "I'm on Fire". Third version I've heard him play, always great.
Nice call on Human Nature! Love that song. I once saw two blokes in Connecticut do a version of it on acoustic guitars in a random, empty coffeehouse and it was almost as good as the original. Works surprisingly well on guitar.

This is cool as well as the Dark Side Moon Keeley pedal. I ended up going with the Boss MD-500 for the deeper preset and editor.

Hey Mike! Outstanding playing as always :-) I just got my Mod Workstation yesterday and want to ask you if you notice that the unity gain on the two drive channels seems fairly high, like around "noon". Always seems odd to me that most companies/builders don't establish unity gain at the lowest setting so you have room to boost (especially on a "boost" like the Katana!). Anyway, excited to build my new mini-board with this thing...keep up the great work!

Excellent demo and tones, Mike! Love all the modulation options and some have some unique twists on things. Question on the Oxblood and 1962: would you say these are faithful recreations of those pedals? There isn't a clipping option on the Mod Workstation's Oxblood channel but the Phat and Normal switch sounds great! Just curious if they compare favorably to their single pedal counterparts. Thanks!

Mine sounds this good minus the brilliant guitar playing. Eleven effects in one little box that are of the highest quality, and dead quiet. Not full of hiss and piss like a Pod! Clears out a lot of space on my pedal board for delay, and fuzz!
now i keep singing the song at 1:02 in my head but the title keeps escaping me! dang it!!!

Super MOD workstation has two independent MOD sections, no drives.
I know this was 2 years ago but if you haven't bought the super mod workstation buy it now. You wont regret it's amazing! Love mine. It has one of the best sounding digital chorus I've ever heard. In fact they are all amazing. You forget they are digital.

Well got this and sent it back just was not right for me. The drives were not better than what I have or even "great" additions. Modulation was OK and not crazy over having to patch anything using TRS splitter as those cables are just not heavy duty like my pedal connect lines. Anyway, I am sure it's great for some but for me having a loaded board just not seeing $300 when the modulation was not amazing. I was pretty struck by how small it really is, not being a pedal buyer for small size that is not a matter for me but it is pretty small for switching room. I went in another direction I had planned before trying this. Not over the top happy w any "multi" pedals at this point. Hermans cranks this thing and while I am no cheese player myself just did not seem to be worth $300 for me to keep it.

All workstations 100% analog, do not think Keeley does any digital stuff.
Actually there is conflict in this as some have said all analog and others say digital mod/delay sections. I do not get my unit for 2 days so I cannot look at it or see how it feels and sounds to define an answer. Anyway as long as the drives are analog that is the ball game really and they most certainly are analog circuit drives not to mention extremely good ones on all models.

Thunder Death 2 EXPENSIVE. I just got tone, mod, delay, and monteray workstations. Finally replaced over 20 pedals and boss me-80. Now have to sit here and wait for them to be shipped :(
$300 each, price each unit with it's dual function and you have quite a savings actually and who needs them all?
