The neutralized a threat. The criminal pos was armed with a knife, had just stabbed someone, wasn't phased by the tasers the police used, refused lawful commands and tired to flee. He gave them no other choice.

Questions I have. 1. What happened in Texas that he was shot and ended up losing his legs? 2. How can he run like that on stumps? I have never seen anything like it. Especially since they only happened a year ago. 3. Why was he trying to murder the man he stabbed? 4. Where were the counselors and psychologists that they were going to send to handle these things when they started defunding the police? 5. What happened to the money they took from the police to fund the counselors and psychologists if they aren’t sending them to these scenes? 6. How long have these officers been on the force and what kind of training did they get before they were put on the streets? 7. Why aren’t any of them wearing body cams? 8. Were there any dash cams in the vehicles at the scene and if there were, was there any footage on them of this? 9. Is there any way to tell if any of the tasers were discharged. 10. What is his criminal history if any? 11. Is he a known drug user? Anything that would cause a taser not to work on him? 11. Was he getting any mental health treatment for his depression? I guess only time will tell the answers to these questions if they are answered at all.

I was waiting for the light once, as I passed the post office, which is on 6606 Seville Ave., when I saw this same African American Huntington Park policeman foot chasing a women who seemingly was under the influence, and running away from the officers. She then ran inside an alley, on Zoe Ave. across the street from the post office loading dock, screaming all the way at that. She even asked a total stranger if she could give her a ride, she also even was banging on the door of a home. I just stood there and watched. 😂 🍿They finally caught her, and paramedics we're called, when they arrived they took her inside the ambulance, (because obviously she needed medical attention, for her eradic behavior.) her hands handcuffed to the bed, while she was still screaming her head off. . Because it was a Saturday, many residents where home, and everyone in the neighborhood stepped out of their homes to watch.. These officers have a tough job, dealing with drug addicts who are committing serious violent crimes. It's the systems fault for allowing them out on the streets, and not a place where they belong, like a psycho ward.

There has to be a new standard for who is brought onto the police force. ONE person trained in combat can disarm a man with a knife. Holy hell! Did they get close enough to him? They had guns and got super close to him. That’s on the police for getting in range of the knife. They could have used pepper spray from a distance. They choose to get close to him so they could shoot him in “self defense”. If they just had kept their distance and been patient and maybe talked him down instead of just wanting it over quick and easy things would have been different. This is just lazy policing at its best and guys who have a gun and just wanted to use it. I can’t even blame race either because from what I see one of the officers that shot him was also African American so it wasn’t a race thing. I was waiting for the light once, as I passed the post office, when I saw this same African American Huntington Park policeman foot chasing a women who seemingly was under the influence, and running away from the officers. She then ran inside a alley, screaming all the way at that. She even asked a total stranger if she could give her a ride, and she was banging aon the door of a home. I just stood there and watched. They final caught her and paramedics arrived, because obviously she needed medical attention, for her eradicate behavior, and placed her inside and he truck with her hands handcuffed to the bed, while she was still screaming her head off. . Because it was a Saturday many residents where are home, and everyone in the neighborhood stepped out of their homes to watch.. These officers have a tough job, dealing with drug addicts who are committing serious violent crimes. It's the systems fault for allowing them out on the streets, and not a place where they belong, like a psycho ward.
