Ashen Rider has really cornered the market in vintage cube of random card in the sideboard that no one ever plays
@@dsneinI'm very sure Sculler is still in, as Luis played it in one of his Lurrus decks (to great effect). I agree that Rider is way past its prime, though.

It's fine in reanimator or sneak attack, and can dismantle an opponent completely in recurring nightmare.
It is the designated sixth best reanimator/sneak target. Which means that if someone is on reanimator they'll pass it for cantrips, removal or lands.
The 3X3 cubing is incredible. I love how skill testing it is, and as a bonus, I get LSV cube drafts way more often. 10/10

Love these cube vids, kinda prefer em to the regular cubes. The tactical elements gives it a little edge for me.
It could be cool to get screenshots/decklists of your teammates decks as well, so we can see how they ended up. I'd enjoy seeing your perception of the draft signals versus the reality.

This concept got mentioned a lot during the Big Zoo Era (either Extended or Modern, more likely the latter). But is almost never mentioned in the current Snowbally Magic Era.

Every Vintage Cube video you post I will like and comment on. LSV Vintage Cube is the pinnacle of the internet. You cannot convince me that there is a better use for it. It's nice to have the "going off" vs. "pro tour" style of draft focus move slightly towards "pro tour" sometimes (not ALL the time, but sometimes).
I've often wondered how LSV would draft cube optimizing solely over winning, and these money drafts are a nice step in that direction

Definitely enjoying the 3v3 content, for the exact reasons you described. Really entertaining to see you change tactics and explain why each format is a bit different, and the variety and gameplay in these team matches has been awesome, not that I mind you forcing storm for the 873rd time... its fun every time!

I really like the drafts LSV. Main thing for me is that it gives a stronger narrative. You clearly are a little more committed to winning, plus knowing the people you are drafting with leads to some fun trolling.

It's good that you conceded Match 3 game 1 without showing them the lumberjack tech.
Is there any consideration to shrinking the size of the cube for team draft? With only 6 players, only half of the cards in a 540 cube are opened, which makes decks like Storm with very specific cards much harder to draft.
Thats good though. It is in fact very lame when you basically always see nearly every card and makes drafts feel same-y

This concept of team drafting is very cool and I think LSV should create a team for draft magic sooner than later. By team I mean it’s like a sport and you draft against an opposing draft team. In draft magic the teams would play games against each other. Whichever team wins the most games wins. LSV would be such a great owner of a draft magic league
It seems like mono green is always open in these drafts. You should try mono green one day!

You only need one person with a loan account (something like Cardhoarder), then trade cards with others and return them to that person after draft.
Most have been playing for a while though, so they own most of the cards
I'm very bad at powered cube, but I thought that one of the biggest mistakes you could make was building rock style good cards decks.
Have those decks for more viable with the increased power of midrange creatures, or is there something about this deck specifically that makes it a good choice?
Phyrexian Revoker and Walking Ballista really would have helped with Delirium for Unholy Heat. Maybe not the right pick here, but probably more useful than Ashen Rider in your pool at that time '^^

LSV, you could draft vintage cube in a bar on proxies made out of coasters and I would still watch it.

I'm an avid lover of the mono green deck, but it would be impossible to read how open green would be from this seat, if even in this draft. GSZ and Finale are good, but Channel and/or Natural Order would have been better. We know they weren't opened and taken pack 1, because Craterhoof wheeled. Same with pack 2, because Ulamog wheeled. The same is also true pack 3, because Progenitus and the other Ulamog wheeled.
Anyone know what set the full art islands from the opponent are from?

small correction but Boseiju is pronounced Bo-say-ju. ‘sei’ is broken into ‘se’ which has the same vowel sound as tech, sex, felt, etc, and ‘i’ is pronounced like ‘ee’ (leek, peek, etc.) Combining the sounds quickly leads to ‘sei’ sounding almost identical to ‘say’ :)
