We live in the mountains, and there is literally nothing outside of getting something a la carte from Taco Bell. Absolutely no meal out comes in for 2 people under $45 before tipping up here.

Love Dough Counter! I was recently diagnosed with Celiac so Ive had to say goodbye to a lot of my favorite places here in Denver, but their gluten free pizza and chicken tenders are great!
Went to Golden Saigon with some friends on a whim a few months ago somehow having no idea it was gonna be some of the best food and honestly best restaurant experiences ive had in a long while, so knowing they got a banh mi shop right next door makes me all the happier
@@davechung You definitely should! Some of my favorite dishes are the Katsu curry, samurai steak, takoyaki, and if you like spicy... the kimchi ramen with the spicy miso paste. They also have a great selection of sake.
Have you been to Dancing Noodle in Parker? That place has some pretty addictive Thai food. Has been around a long time and is a go-to when I get into town.
@davechung crab cheese wontons were amazing. Rice, dumplings, wontons, chicken wings were all great. Spicy noodles hit me with that 5 spicy reminded me of Shang Artisan Noodle in Vegas.

If you like rehabilitated subways you should come down to Colorado Springs for a bite. We've got a place down here called Tlaquepaque. It's a taco place that even still has the yellow awnings. But unlike a subway, they serve actual food with like... seasonings and stuff.
Can you do best local chili crisp? My family's restaurant closed awhile back and my brother misses our chili oil! Ooh, also a bakery episode. Like the old school Celestial Bakery and newer ones like Tokyo Premium and Banh and Butter
Thanks for the suggestions! Chili crisp is an interesting idea! I've thought about doing the bakery one! I've put Tokyo Premium in a few videos and did a Short on Banh and Butter not too long ago. I'll definitely think about putting them all together in an upcoming video!
Call Your Mother and Chopstickers are EXCELLENT. At Chopstickers I suggest getting something with chicken or beef with the soup dumplings and ask for more pickled veg because it’s really easy to order a ton of pork and it can be overwhelming 😅 I wanna try Linglon as well they sound awesome
Hey y'all, if you're ever in the East Coast area outside of DC, come to Harrisonburg, VA and try Mr. J's bagels. They are on point!!! I on the other hand will be back in Denver next month (my grandmother was from there) and will definitely be hitting up Call Your Mother. Those bagel sandwiches look so awesome!!!
Shout out to Golden Saigon, whenever I get take out and have to wait they bring me a special drink without asking such a nice touch! And the food is so tasty and consistently good!
It's a place that's ridiculously local to my neighborhood so maybe I'm a little biased, but Corner House Pizza & Pasta Bar at the corner of Knox and 1st is really good. Probably some of the best pizza I've had outside of Houston (where I used to live), and their pasta dishes are amazing too. The owner is *exceptionally* nice, courteous and enthusiastic. They're a really small place, so sometimes if they're very busy it might be a little slow, but they're also still incredibly understated and out of the way, so it doesn't get very busy often. Highly recommend that you at least check them out.
