I have watched sooo many videos. And finally this one was the one I needed. I didn't understand how other people increased the stitches. The way you plainly said it ex 2,1,1 pattern, was exactly what I needed

I have looked at many videos trying to learn amigurumi. This video is awesome! She makes it easy to follow. I can really concentrate and follow along with her video as a complete beginner. I feel if I can learn how to crochet a ball well - then I must be on my way to creating better things:! Love the video!

Thank you so much ,Naztazia ,for explaining clearly as you visually showed us how to create this little ball. I've only done a simple blanket for my granddaaughter,so now I would love to watch your video as I try to crochet along and make this for her. She's almost a year ,so fun to see her explore new things.
You are an excellent teacher .

Thank you so much! Crocheting as a boy is hard, mostly because people assume you make doilies and etc. But hacky sack is trending at my school, and I decided to do this! Now, I'm not made fun of.

I haven't picked up my crotchet hook in like forever your videos are inspiring, and informative. I had totally forgotten how relaxing crocheting is, I love teaching my eldest granddaughter Marielle new things, she's brilliant despite she's Autistic I have found she's a faster learner than any other child I have ever tried teaching so on behalf of my grandbaby Marielle and I thank you so very much : )

Omg I have been wanting to make this little guys FOREVER but all the books never helped (probably because I'm a visual learner) and none of the videos helped any. But you explained it perfectly and watching your hands just made it all click you are a crocheting goddess! !!!!

OMG!! Finally a tutorial I can actually follow!! Thanks so much!! I'm working on a lovey for my first grand baby and have had no luck in following the other tutorials I've tried. Not only are your instructions easy to follow but listing the rounds, # and types of stitches for each round and the stitch count at the end of each round is extremely helpful. Finally I believe I can finish his lovey. Again, thanks so much!!

Thank you so much!! I started crocheting yesterday for the first time. I tried following this - made a circle with some holes. Today, second try. Perfect! Ok, one hole. :) But I mean, second day! You are the best at teaching this, I looked at other vids from other crocheters and yes, they may work, but I kept coming back to this one for clarity of image and explanations. A thousand thumbs up and my eternal gratefulness :) Yeeeeeei I can do amigurumi!! :D :D

I only just started crochet to add some new textures to the calm corner I am making for my kids. I am going to try making some of these facial expression balls to portray different emotions so the youngest ones can use them to show where they are on the scale of happy, sad, worried, angry and sleepy, to add a little more interest. Thank you! X

I knit very often and have gotten the hang of it very easily, but for some reason I never thought I would be able to crochet. It always seemed hard to learn and I never found a good quality video that was easy to follow. Thanks to you I'm reconsidering my first thought of crochetting and and now willing to try it. Your video's are very clear and I think with your help I'll be able to do it! :D Thank you! Please keep making videos! :)

When I was younger (in my teens) my mother tried showing me how to crochet...let's just say it was a test to both of us...all I learned was the chain stitch. So I gave up even trying to learn again. Then last year I thought why not try it again (I am going to be 40 this year) I took out books from the library include Crochet for Dummies. I guess I was worst then a dummy because it didn't help. Then I over hear someone say that they learned to crochet from TH-cam so again I though why not give it another try. I have to admit that after looking at some that even though they state for beginners they weren't much help...Your videos though are amazing...you provide clear and easy to understand vocal and visual...you don't just show it once and then just speed through the design/pattern. I also liked this one where you show what the pattern would look like so that I understand when I look at a pattern that I have what all the abbreviations are for. I have told my friends about your TH-cam page. Thank you for creating them and letting all of us watch :)

You can use thicker yarn like a bulky or a super bulky weight yarn. Or you can hold 2 or 3 strands of regular worsted weight yarn together and use a larger size hook (maybe an H or an I).
