I’ve installed operators on walls without studs, using 1/4” bolts and toggles. It’s a bit challenging especially when you get 7 out of the 8 bolts situated, then the 8th decides it wants to strip out. Then you have to remove all toggles and start again. You are certainly wise by warning against mounting operators on dry wall alone. Well done Wayne.
Pssst....hey salesperson...why is the header in clear finish? The doors are DARK BRONZE! Please don't use tek screws on the arm. They look ugly and can be a pain in the ass if you strip the head on one. Use the sexy countersunk ones Ditec/Record supplies in the box.
