@@joshuapicarello my favourite is the 4070 Ti SUPER paired with a 4K monitor. Although, I don't think that it qualifies to be called high-end. In my opinion, high-end is 4080, 4080 SUPER and 4090.
You can get 40-50% more performance without visual loss if you use optimized settings in games. Certain graphic settings are intensive but provide little to no visual improvements.
I have zotac rtx 4060 8gb and i can literally play almost every game in 4k 60fps on medium graphic Fidelity, or i can Play it in 1440p on ultra settings at 60fps. I've been playing sparkling zero in 4k 60fps medium with some high settings and it still looks absolutely amazing.
the 4060 is roughly on par with a PS5 or series x in terms of performance. In most cases it is slightly better. And it has DLSS. except its worse is vram limited scenarios and sony games (mostly sony games)
You cannot make such a comparison, it's misleading to say the least, because game developers design and optimize their games specifically for those consoles. Furthermore, it is much more efficient to optimize a game for a specific hardware/system, they can push it to the max and get the best possible result. Something they cannot do, even if they wanted to, for pc, because there are too many different systems/hardware out there. Which is why your pc with a 4060 will never run as smoothly or look as good as it does on the consoles like ps5. Which is why I always get at least the 70 series or better for my pc otherwise there is really no point in getting a pc, at least when it comes to just gaming. With the ps5 and pro, you can play 4k at either stable 30 fps locked or 60 fps. The 4060 is barely able to play 1080p... With the 70 series you can at least play 1440p, granted you won't be utilizing rt or pt, but to be frank, rt is useless, in 95% of cases which is why 80%-90% of people are better off buying AMD in terms of price and performance, but I digress... Don't get me wrong, I am a passionate and open-minded gamer, therefore I have consoles too. There is no better or worse, both have their place.

I like old games. This year I played Control, Doom, Mafia 2-3, Mafia Defitine Edition, Gears 4-5 and so on. They all work great. But Returnal made me spend a lot of time trying to win stutters. Even indi games like Anger Foot on Unity has stutters (and many issues on Steam about it). And new Unity game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutants Unleashed also has stutters (it can be fixed by Vulkan), Wu Kong has stutters (not so much, but still has, like all Unreal 5 games), new game on Unreal 5 A Quiet Place The Road Ahead is a real stutterfest, I have 3-4 stutters in minute at the beginning (used DirectX 11, 12, Vulkan, on Win 11 and Linux). PC gaming is dead, if you have eyes. The only right decision to sell 4080 Super and buy PS5 Pro for gaming without stutters, but I can't pay 70$ for each game. I'm playing on PC during 1998 to 2024, and there wasn't so big problem with stutters til 2022. I remember the first problems in Callisto Protocol at the end of 2022, but it worked perfect on PS5. And after this game Dead Space Remake, Star Wars Survivor were released. Unreal 5 games are the worst we have ever seen. I'm afraid of all Unreal 5 games, cos of stutters.
You can try to cap the fps at a lower fps that you get. For example if you get 120fps, cap it at 90fps. A stable low frame is always better than unstable high frame
