They have missed lingaraja temple of bhubaneswar odisha. It is consodered as the king of the lingas. Built in between 10 11th century. Here the shiva linga and the saligram( vishnu) has been fused naturally . The only one linga in india where vishnu and shiva both are present.
Arunachalam, Chidambaram, Srisailam, Sri Kalahasti, Lingaraj.. They missed above all.. The shiva temples must to be visited are jyothirlinga temple's..
The first one is Tungnath temple (highest shiva temple in the world) . Similar architecture as that of Kedarnath because both are located in the same state ( Uttarakhand, my state 😅) and in the same district. Om namah Shivaaye 😊
I'm From Gujarat and I Only Visited SOMNATH TEMPLE Once around 2016 For the First Time. It is The First JYOTIRLING Of 12th Of Shiv Lingas. The Others In Different part of INDIA. 1. There are 12 Jyotirlingaa(Major Shiva Temples) across India mentioned by Adi Shankaracharya. You can visit any of them. 2. If you want to find mesmerizing temple architectures(Primarily of Lord Vishnu) then you should visit south India. 3. If you want to visit Krishna temples then your destination is Mathura and Vrindaban, north India. 4. If you want to visit temples of Lord Rama then you can go to Ayodhya(North India) or Rameshwaram(South India) 5. If you want to experience Durga Puja or Kali temples then you need to Visit Kolkata, East India. 6. If you want to visit Ganesh Puja and Ganesh temples then you need to visit Mumbai, West India. Note: but across all the regions all the deities are worshiped in innumerable temples throughout the country but it is categorised like this in order to make easy travel plan because touching all major temples and festivals is a year-long program across the country. It is said that Sanatanis worship stones to plants to animals to all living and non living beings and worshipping himself/herself too. They believe Brahman is every where and in everything.
॥ जय सोमनाथ ॥ 🙏🏻 Jai Somnath 🙏🏻 Hello guys my home town is near to SOMNATH TEMPLE as it’s situated at a small town called PRABHAS PATAN My grandfather was very in Lord Shiva’s Bhakti and as we use to stay abroad whenever he’s back the first thing to do was to leave the luggage and get freshened and leave for SOMNATH and only after the visit he will consume food and liquids and thus we too follow as much as possible…
Jai Badri Vishal, Har Har Mahadev🙏Tunganath and Kedarnath are in my state (Uttarakhand).. Tungnath is 100+ km away from my city, I went there in 2015.. Uttarakhand is known as Devbhoomi, here you will find thousands of ancient temples mainly of Shiva, Vishnu, Hanuman and Sun (Surya).. Here you will also find many Shaktipeeths, various devi(goddess) temples and temples of local devtas (deities) who are incarnations of Shiva and Vishnu..Uttarakhand is divided into two parts in Skandpuran, Kedarkhand (today's Garhwal region) and Manaskhand (today's Kumaun region)🙏

Thanjai Periya Kovil( Thanjai Big Temple), as well as other Chola temples built by the Cholas, dedicated to Parameshwara are truly out of this world and undeniably architectural wonder to see. So many ancient intricate structures all over Tamil Nadu from Ramanathaswamy temple in Rameswarem to Kabalisvarar temple in Chennai, from Thanumalayan Temple in Suchindrum to Annamalayar Temple in Thiruvannamalai, from Ekambaranathar Temple in Kancheepuram to Vaitheesvarar temple in Mayiladuthurai, from Nellaiyappar temple in Thirunelveli to Natarajar Temple in Chidambaram. The list goes on and on, and I couldn't imagine how the ancient kingdoms of Tamils built these tremendous gigantic structures......Thennadudaiye Shivane Potri, Yennatruvarku Iraiva Potri( by Thiruvasagem-ancient Tamil poet), which meant, "Hail Shiva,Lord Of the South(South India), Hail to the Supreme, Lord of the World/Universe. Om Namah Sivahya
I think commentry is misguiding there no proof about kailasha temple to be built by rastrakuta in 8th century (i think here she is saying 18th) they have carving of 3rd century but not exact date is there
Last Month I have been to Mahakaleshwar Temple, it is considered the centre of all 11 Jyotirlinga( The most powerful Shiv Temples ). It is believed visiting this temple alone is equal to visiting all Shiv Temples all over the World. And believe me the experience was just on another level. You just lose yourself at the moment. Mahakal means who is beyond Kaal(time). I just can't describe the feeling. Most powerful and mesmerizing temple in the entire world. As soon as you visit the outskirts of city Ujjain you know He ( Lord Shiva ) is there somewhere closeby smiling 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Om Namah Shivay
do you know:- panch kedar shiva temples were restablised in uttrakhand by kingdom of kumaon in supervision of adi guru sankaracharya during period of 7th century to 10th century . These temples are built in katyuri(they were known as katyuri kings) nagra architecture, they even have a unique style of making idols. which includes kedarnath, tungnath, madhmaheshwar, rudranath, kalpnath they also built baijnath group of temples, jageshwar group of temples, katarmal sun temple, and many more(here jageshwar group is oldest built in approx 7th cen. and latest one is baijnath built in approx 9th to 10th cen. ). it is said that they built all these temples in one night as the roof of garbhgriha is always unfinished in each temple. .... the roof has been fitted later by different peoples across.

Do you know that when terrible flood hit kedarnath area in 2013 a large slab of rock fell from somewhere right behind the kedarnath temple just before the the tsunami of water was about to hit the temple. That slab of rock saved the temple because the water hit the rock instead of the temple. It was a miracle in itself. That rock is still there and people worship it.
