You should do the trials if you haven’t !, Gives you free primogems and lets you try the special characters! When I was a lower level I skipped all my trials and I regret it so bad- if you like the character (like venti or ayato who’s out right now) you can pull for them using primogems. Characters on the wish banner are limited, so they usually last about a month before they disappear and then rerun (come back later in the future)
This early in the game I guess there's depending on how much you play a few weeks to months of exploration ahead of you till you reach the end of available content. Light up statues of seven and teleports, do quests, do the dailies, explore for chests etc. There's a TON of beautiful content as long as you're also interested in the game's story. Most of the overworld content is quite easy and if you hit something hard you always have means to move on and come later when you're stronger. Once you reach the end of available content, it turns more or less into waifu/husbando collection but it still might be fun if you're into it. Paying for the game is optional, you can get anything without paying a cent, events and dailies give out enough primogems to get a five-star character every month or so and you don't need more to deal with all challenges the game puts ahead of you. On the other hand, I think the game is good enough to deserve some monetary appreciation. It's made by a lot of talented people who want to feed their families and the only reason the game is "free" is that there's enough people willing to give them money anyway. If you start with it, remember that gacha games CAN get out of control and make players regret their actions. Don't let that happen to you and you'll be fine.
12:00 Bennett is kinda the weakest character in the game, weaker than even Amber. Absolutely no use whatsoever. Don't waste your resource on him. Spend it all on Amber instead.

Do the test runs. You can retry them as often as you want until they're gone... And you only get to use them in a test run domain anyways
