Today we're going over how to make your own custom Instagram filter using Facebook's new free app called Spark AR Studio. It's simple, intuitive, and I honestly believe a lot of designers, motion graphics, & VFX artists will love it. I've been messing around with it for a few days and already, I'm realizing there's a lot of potential for Spark AR Studio to reshape the way augmented reality setups and cool visual effects are made in the future. In this tutorial, we'll be covering the interface, how to import 3d models, how to use face tracking, how to apply materials, and how to upload to preview on Instagram. I'm just getting started with AR/VR prototyping and 3d modeling and this was an AMAZING tutorial! I have created my first face filter! Hopefully I'll be able to mess around with some AE as well and who knows, maybe make some AR effects with it! (I think that's a thing.)

i have problem and i need help pls , i do every step you do but when i put my filter the white mask stay on my face with the filter, how can i remove the white mask?
Try changing the material of the facemesh to opacity 0%

As Instagram is collaborating w// various brand like Warby Parker and Ray-ban for AR eyeglasses try-on services, I ,as a eyeglass provider, wonder if Instagram has completed all AR try-on application specifically for eyeglasses try-on? If so, can I just load 3D frame file to fulfill eyeglasses virtual try-on by providing 3D frame file only? OR Instagram don't provide this kind of application.
