They look like a really nice set. Your comment about your husband not liking noisy needles made me chuckle because I get the exact same kinds of comments from my daughter when I knit! I need to try out some quieter needles I think 😆

Do the numbers and patterns on the needles wear off over time?

They are laser engraved, so no. At least no changes that I have seen so far!
