Sir. You have cleared all my soil mechanics doubt that i couldn't get in class. Soil mechanics has been the hardest subject in civil engineering course for me . I even failed my geotech exams too.I felt like crying whenever i try to study this subj. But i have discovered your channel,i got the concept and now it become the most interesting subj for me. And solely becoz of you,i wish to take up geotechnical engineering in my M.tech. All credits to you. If there is a chance,i wish i could meet you in person someday . You are my idol.you changed my life. I wished more videos like this to be made to make students understand the core concept in easy and interesting way. And pliz dont stop making videos.
Very well done. The math model is rare in the utube library on this topic. Videos like this is the hidden root which inspires resilient safe secure water supply for a fruitful society .
Sir your teaching is the best... I'm very happy.. I found you... You save my semester... I have no words to explain how helpful and useful is this.. Thank you so much sir.. Please keep it up. And provide us more videos.. May God bless you sir
The way you teach is awesome man👌 Your videos are making the Geotech subject very hardest to very interesting for many B.Tech students and they must be very very thankful towards you for your efforts. The way you teach feels me that I am not studying rather listening very interesting stories and easily understood and saves my time too...Thanks a lot for everything and keep on doing further in future...
Highly informative videos for Engineering students and Professionals. Kindly make more videos on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering. Love and Respect from Pakistan 💖
Sir please continue with rest of the soil mechanics... Concepts including foundations engineering as well..... Because my watching your videos... Just now I subscribe to your channel because without doing these... I think your hard work for giving us a clear visualisation of the concepts won't get worth it.... Please I request my king honour.... Please sir continue with the rest remaining concept of soil as well as foundation engineering concepts also
Could you advise on the following situation regarding an earth dam in France at least 50 years old. We live in a property immediately below the dam which retains a 250 hectare lake used for seasonal irrigation by feeding a small river which runs through important agricultural land. In recent years it has become apparent that although there is evidently no 'piping' or conventional leaking, the dam was constructed on a spring line and the upsurging spring water pours from the base of the downside elevation, The water has been channelled previously in pipes and tubes but increasingly fine sediments from the internal impervious layers of the dam are found in the water. Attempts so far with large scale work to suppress the springs with layers of gravel and impervious membranes have been unsuccessful (most recently in work concluded this week!) The water continues to flow rapidly and contains fine clay particles. Those in charge insist that it is not the result of leakage or piping and that seems to be borne out by the evidence that the water is very clear and much warmer than the surface water. Springs abound on this side of the valley. Although the intention is to keep the lake at very low levels at present, should we be concerned given the location of our property which once functioned as a water mill in the old river valley. We are very short of information and dismayed that there is no close consultation with us about the complex engineering work being carried out right next to us. If you have any advice we would be very interested to hear it. Or to point us to other sources of information comprehensible by an intelligent layman. Thanks!
Dear Sir I appreciate you Tallent and hard work...it's very easy to make understand all the doubts in soil mechanics and also for lots of coseptual thots in a very shortly way to understand. Actually that's the right way to keep learning and growing for it...keep it up🙏 Please sir let's continue the lactures in soil and foundation engineering.
Thank you sir for the really insightful videos. Kindly consider doing some videos on soil compaction and related tests. It is a key component in many construction projects
excellent learning material for student of soil conservation work. i requested your honor if you provide such material designing of mini dams and ponds.
It was really nice and keep a head! May be one more thing that i need to know is, the embankment dam foundation is a strip type foundation or some other else? Thanks!
You are simply awesome. Very helpful playlist. Can you do compaction, consolidation, shear strength and it's tests, stress distribution, stability of slopes.
Do you mind if I ask which software do use to drawn your images in your videos? I am an instructor and I am also interested in develop this type of material for my geotechnics students who don't speak English.

This video was excellent. Thank you!
Very clear and educational. Excellent presentation Sir.
Great videos! Your channel has inspired me to start a channel for civil engineering, geology, and geotechnical engineering students.
Thank you so much 😇😇 Really overwhelmed the way you explained the parabola maths involved in phreatic line construction.
Loving this channel, please never stop doing this :)
We appreciate the hard work
Their hard work is very much bro

Nice video easy to understand thank you for making these videos
Sir you are amazing 👏 ❤ ♥ 💖 🙌
How would you define the phreatic line in the case of a damn with a core that has a different permeability?
I think phreatic or seepage line is depend on the flow of water though dam.i e shape formed by water .. And permeability is the property of soil.
very educative, what are the parameters considered for seepage analysis
excellent learning material for student of soil conservation work. i requested your honor if you provide such material designing of mini dams and ponds.
It was really nice and keep a head! May be one more thing that i need to know is, the embankment dam foundation is a strip type foundation or some other else?
Thanks!
I learn alot in 18 minutes which i didn't understand in my whole engineering lecture of clg
Very nice explanation sir 🙏
